Chetwyn goes for a walk in the forest, he's going to try to see if the bounty hunter from earlier is still here.

You cup your hands, trying to get enough of the liquid to drink. You sip it hesitantly and instantly feel the benefical effects. You drink more and give some to Ryder. You feel well rested and ready to go.
---Chetwyn---
You wander into the forest, looking for Michelle. No obvious signs of her, but you reach a point where you see three set of tracks. Maybe one of them will lead you to her.
The first track is basic footsteps. You calculate three different persons.
The second track is a big line in the dirt. There's burnt leaves around it.
The third track is more subtle. It's just branches on the ground... Probably caused by someone jumping from tree to tree.

You and your Note Beast double team the last enemy. Vaikandau seems to be aware he'll go down, so he just sheates his katana and starts removing the mask from the unconscious enemies. The enemy eventually falls down from being grinded.
Vaikandau: "I've got a human and an elf here... Which means this is a group. And not a race... They didn't seem that violent, but they did do something to my Note Beast..."
The samurai stands back up, looking at Odette. He keeps eye contact the whole time, which might be unusual for Odette.
Vaikandau: "Thank you for your help. You seem like a very capable fighter.
Unfortunately, I don't have time to lose. I need to find my Note Beast.
My father will be disappointed of me if I go back home without it."
He seems to be waiting for you to respond before even making a single move.

She was on her own so the set of three footprints probably isn't her, and I can't see her leaping from one tree to the next (although if we're dealing with ninjas or something those could be one of the shadows people have been seeing). That leaves the scorched line which fits with her Note Beast having wheels instead of legs, so that's probably her. At the same time the trail of branches warrants checking, so I'll send Paul to follow the scorched line with a message (and if he finds anyone else he won't approach them) while Chetwyn follows the trail of branches as best as he can.

Odette returns eye contact, looking into the depths of his soul. Looking back at her is almost like staring into the eyes of death itself. A dark, cloudy feeling where all light is diminished and replaced with nothing but despair. Struggling to escape the void of nothingness you've been trapped within, you cry out only to realize that nobody is there and nobody has been there the whole time. Your reality and your memories shatter along with your sanity until nothing is left but an empty shell of a man.
"Okay." Odette puts her scythe away and continues to stare at the man until he leaves.
Dagearabia starts to scavenge the bodies for whatever materials may be on them with his vacuums.
