“It sounds like you have plenty of people backing you up. In that case, I’ll go after Bunbun. Who else is with me?”

Floyd, Dewey, Sam, Nora

Katie runs next to Tom, wolf ears up, and bares her fangs. "You leave him alone, you big bully!"

Tom lightly pushes the now-larger girl aside, calmly takes off his glasses, folds them, and sticks them in his jacket's breast pocket. "That's Chief. You're the one that was so adamant about codenames, but fuck me I guess. And you make another death threat and we're going to have a problem. You think Alice would be OK with the way you're acting right now?"

The atmosphere has grown very tense. Half of the armored group have a hand on their weapons, Katie has her claws out, Raine has her umbrella half-raised, the farmer's holding her pitchfork a bit tighter, Laura looks ready to tackle someone, Grant has his shield up, and Somnis already has a knife drawn.

"I humbly suggest we don't start doing the monsters any favors by killing each other," Featherhat cuts in. He twirls his gun and approaches Dewey. "You seem to be the more personable sort. Allow me to accompany you. I don't know who this 'Bunbun' is, but I shall gladly provide any and all support I can muster! ...Not that I know who any of these people are."

"Doesn't sound familiar," the farmer lies to Floyd. "I'm going after Tempest. Hey, As...mo...deus? You hear me through that phone? We'll meet up at the site."

The armor with the big club steps forward. "I will also be going after Tempest."

The one with knives, one of the few who didn't even flinch before, raises one hand slightly. "Same."

"I'm going to go help Bunbun, obviously!" Kiran yells.

"Mmm." Somnis nods behind him.

Mareena smiles. "Great. Let's make this simple. Anyone who wants to go help Tempest, head over there.  She's somewhere around the hospital.  Anyone for Bunbun, there.  She's near the river.  And Alice... there.  You'll be heading downtown.  We can meet with Person and the others there.  Malatyne, dear, if you're so insistent on doing 'your mission' all alone then by all means run along and try to fight every monster, all of us, and Alice by yourself."

As the groups start forming, some people are quick to get into groups.  Tom, Shield, Laura, and Tia go to Alice's group.  Freya, Raine, Kiran, and Somnis move to Natsumi's group.  Over the phone, Buttons says he's joining them, too.  The farmer, Club, Knife, and Scimitar all say they're going after Tempest.

Katie, Fox, Grant, and the armors with the cannon, staff, and axe stick around, unsure which group to join.  Mareena and her bird stay away from everyone else.

Floyd walks over to Tempest's group to get a closer look at the farmer nodding when he's confirmed it is indeed the same person "No, that was definitely you hey S- hmmn wonder where she is...... Turtledove you were there! Don't you remember her showing up after the Mannequin showed up at the mall.... oh and hey what are you going to be doing?"

“I couldn’t tell you, I think this might only be the second time I’ve even been in the same place as her while transformed and if we’ve ever met under normal circumstances it’s news to me. In any case, I suppose we should get moving as well.”
Satisfied with the size of the group, Dewey begins leading them to the river.

Nora allows herself to relax for a moment, then crosses her arms, a deep scowl spreading across her face. "Well now, this is the perfect time for me to pose a question. Mareena, you speak as if you know of this... phenomena. You spoke that way earlier, as well. If you knew about this unfortunate side effect of Soul Keys before, why are we just learning of it today, under the worst possible circumstances?"

Nora's face flares with anger. "All that would come from warning people is more danger? Are you fucking stupid? Have you lost your goddamn mind? What the fuck kind of absolute bullshit, idiotic nonsense is that? If we knew, we would have acted differently. We would have known to keep a closer eye on those under severe stress. It could hardly have gone worse than this. At the very least, if we had known, we would have been better prepared. If I had known, it's quite possible the steps I would have taken would have at least protected Alice. All of us here were endangered, the city was fucking invaded, three of our friends almost died, and you... think it was ok not to say anything because it could have been worse? What the actual fuck is wrong with you?!"

Nora seems furious. "Of course we knew soul keys were dangerous, that doesn't mean you shouldn't tell us they could turn us into monsters if we got stressed!"
