Levi heads in. "Oh, okay. I guess I can help you out." It's not uncommon for people to ask Levi to carry around things. For some reason they think being tall means being stronger than a normal person. "So...Are we helping you move around some packages or something or...?" Levi talks to Alice before looking at Tom and quickly looking away to pretend he didn't look at him.

"Umm yes that's it right more man power, umm that sounds okay,".
Morgan turns around and sees the young man from school. Morgan turns cheerful and extends her hand.
"I seen you around school before,". "Sorry if we haven't got a chance to talk or anything,". "My name is Morgan and I hope me and my friend can be of big help to you and Alice senpai," Morgan says to the young man.

Levi and Morgan
"Yes, that's exactly it. I've got some heavy packages that need moving, and you two are perfect to help me. And then we can have a study session together." Alice smiles slightly. It's very obviously forced.
The elevator goes up until it reaches the top... and then you transfer into a second elevator that Alice opens with a keycard. You keep going up, finally ending at the 5th highest floor. It's... a penthouse suite...? It's like an entire small house in here. Mini-kitchen, a sizable living room. A door leading to what looks like a bedroom. You can see all the way to the distant mountains through a large bay window - kind of. You're looking out through a cloud. "Welcome to my home." She hits a button and turns on some annoyingly loud music. It's hard to hear each other over the sound. "Don't worry, we can speak safely in here. Just don't yell. I'll cut right to the chase. Have either of you been to the mall today?"
Tom flops down onto one of the two plush loveseats.

You show up to the Vitcorp building. You find a man with blond hair waiting for you outside. Your suspicions that he may be Raine and Freya's father are quickly confirmed when he waves at you. "You must be Vincent, right? So you're going to be doing a bit of work for us this evening? Here's your temporary ID badge and a hat. It shouldn't be too hard. You'll be getting paid $80 for the job, the check should arrive early next week. I've just got a few papers for you to sign, then we can wait for the young lady you'll be working with."
Vincent, Leia
Leia shows up to work right on time. The doorman and secretary show you to Mr. Selig's office. "Hello, Leia. Ready for your first day of work? It should be easy enough. Just four packages. We even hired a temp to... y'know. Can't have a young lady on her own at night in this kind of time, right? The addresses are on the packages, make sure you get signatures. And here's a map of the area... Oh! Right. Special orders. So... This package. It needs to be delivered to one of our outlets at the mall, but you need to deliver it after the mall closes and they've had time to put stuff away. Sometime after midnight. And you'll need a key to get in..." Mr. Selig rummages through his desk. "Ah, here we go. One for each of you, just in case." He pulls out a pair of shining white keys. He pauses and stares at them with a quizzical smile. "...Huh. This doesn't look like the right key... But... This is what they boss gave me, so..."
He slides the keys to you both from across the table, then has you both sign for the packages. "Any questions before you head out?"
Levi, Morgan
Alice breaks out her phone and connects it to her computer. "Listen very carefully. What I'm about to show you doesn't leave this room. I need help, and you're both on the very short list of people I can trust right now. Don't make me regret it."
She motions for you to take a seat and slides the computer where you can both see it. Tom leans in to look as well. There's a picture of the fountain at the mall, the one with all the strange statues. You don't notice anything strange at first. Then Alice changes the camera to show three of the statues in particular.
You recognize Katie immediately, even if she's dressed in a weird costume.
And the next is Somnis.
And Fox.
Katie's standing in front of the others, holding her arms out.
Somnis is kneeling in the middle, trying to pull Katie back while shielding Fox.
Fox is lying on the ground, holding his arm as if he's hurt.
"...Whoa..." Tom mutters. "They're... Newvit students."
"Yes." Alice stares at the two of you.

"What could have caused this?" Morgan asks more shocked then actually upset.

"It's real," Alice says. She clicks a few buttons and pulls up another photo from a different angle. She points at the background. "This statue here. He's a Vitcorp scientist. Or was, maybe. I don't... know whether these people are alive or dead..." Alice bites her lip.
Tom jumps in. "We have... a vague idea what might have caused this. We've been doing research on Vitcorp's dealings right under their nose. We keep finding references in their notes, to something they call 'the otherworld.' From what we can tell, it's some kind of... alternate dimension or something? Populated with weird creatures. They get there using these things called 'soul keys' to unlock 'portals...' and that's about all we know." This is the most you've heard him say in... over the course of an entire day.
Alice seems to have recovered enough to continue. "We've managed to get into the otherworld ourselves a few times. At the hospital. It's... something you really have to experience for yourself to understand. We know there's a portal at the mall, for sure. We've wanted to go check it out for a while, but we haven't been able to, for various reasons. If I had to guess, the answer to what happened is behind the portal. Are you with me so far?"

Its all so hard to take in at once. Yet from what I know about you Alice is that you wouldn't just make stuff like this up. I believe in you so I believe in what your saying.
So you need me and Levi's help? Tell us how can we assist you? How can we save Somnis and Katie? Can they even be saved?
Morgan is upset not only because of what happened to Somnis and Catie but it's beginning to bring feelings of helplessness. Morgan is starting to remember how she felt powerless when her mom died, her dad disowned her, and now with her two friends in this state.
Morgan is clinching and unclinnching her fists and she looks more determined then sad.

"You believe so, huh... Good." Alice walks over to corner of the room and pulls open an air duct. She squeezes in up to her hips, then crawls back out. She tosses both of you a glowing, white key, then flops down on the seat between you. She kicks her shoes off, pulls her hair down, leans back, and lets out a relieved sigh. "We'll leave at 11. What would you like for dinner? I'll get you anything you want."
