Vince pulls his key into his hand glares at it suspiciously.

"You ready to get going?" He asks his charge.

Levi, Morgan

"There's nothing to be done.  As much as I'd like to examine them, I can hardly just walk up to them with everyone around.  And the otherworld portals are only accessible after midnight.  Stressing out is just going to cause more problems than it will solve."  Alice sighs, places a hand on Levi's shoulder, and stares into his eyes.  "And most importantly, you're going to need your strength for tonight."

"Otherworld expeditions are exhausting," Tom explains.

"So what do you want to eat?"

"Burger and fries," Tom says.

"You're also eating a small salad,"  Alice tells him.

"Yes, Mom..."

Levi sits down, defeated. "...I..." He's unable to finish that sentence. "...I'm not feeling very hungry. Just...order something you want...I guess." He seems almost frozen.

Morgan

Morgan slides over close to Levi.

I know what your feeling right now. It sucks we can't do anything at this moment to help. Actually how your feeling right now is how I felt pretty much my whole life honestly. I was powerless when my mom died that day. I was powerless the day my dad found out about the real me and then kicked me out of the house and basically black balled me out of Japan. Now I feel completely powerless where two of the first people to actually really accept me are now in this shape.

Once everyone there found out that I brought him great dishonored and shame.

(Morgan clinches her fist)

Levi I am here for you. I can't say why I am so trusting of Alice. It's just she doesn't strike me as the person to make up such an elaborate lie.

I more then anyone want to kick down the doors to the mall. Find the bastards that did this to our friends. Then kick there ass until our friends are back to normal.

(Morgan looks Levi in the eyes. Morgans eyes are starting to water.)

Levi I make this promise to you. I have your back no matter what. I promise to protect you when we are over there no matter what happens.

Levi, Morgan

Alice lets Levi out of the hug, then stands up to wag her finger at both of you.  "Both of you need to remember to keep your emotions in check in the otherworld.  Understand?  We don't fully understand it, but the creatures in the other world respond to powerful emotions.  And not usually in a good way."  She turns to Morgan.  "So no crying or acting all... that thing you do."  She looks to Levi.  "And no panicking and being all embarrassed.  Calm, collected, and alive.  That's how we're going to save them.  Understand?"  She doesn't seem like she's angry or anything, more... concerned.

The elevator dings.  Alice hurriedly grabs your keys and stuffs them under the cushions.  A lady in a white uniform with dyed-pink hair walks in.  There's a small, dog-head pin on her collar.  Alice's eyes widen.

The uniformed lady smiles.  "Hi, Miss Ekantha, Mr. Cat.  I brought up your food!  Oh, new friends - I thought this seemed like a lot more food than you normally order.  Hello, dears."

"Hello... Ms. Randal.  I didn't think you would be working today," Alice says.  You notice she's gone back to sounding a bit more formal.

"Why wouldn't I be working?  It's a Saturday night."

"How's, uh...  How's your daughter?" Tom asks.

"Katie's fine!  She's staying with her darling friend Fox this weekend."  Her smile drops for a moment.  "Wait, did something happen at school she didn't tell me about?  Is she being bullied?"

"Oh, no.  Just curious is all," Tom says.  "Haven't seen her around so much lately."

"Oh!  Don't scare me like that.  I don't know what I'd do if something happened to my darling..."  She brings in a cart of food.  There's a large beef bowl for Morgan, duck and soup for Alice and Levi, and a bag of fast food for Tom.  "Here you all go!  Enjoy!"

"Ah...  Yes.  Thank you."

Levi seems to avoid looking at the waitress after hearing her name. Instead, he looks to the side. "Thank you." He hopes that she leaves before he has to eat anything. It's...impossible to eat with this feeling.

Like...someone might die. And their own mother is standing in front of you.

Levi tries to collect himself before Morgan asks what Vitcorp does.

Is she TRYING to get us killed!?

Levi looks at her intensely. "They probably do a lot with deliveries. After all, we did help Alice with those packages, right?" The lack of hesitation is noticeable.

Morgan

Because it will be easier to dispose of two outsiders. Or to blame the incident on us

(Is it possible to use my kindness or understanding or combine that with Just to see if there is any malevolent thoughts or actions behind this? Like is this a trap type thing or are they looking to stab us in the back? Or are me and Just already screwed and the ship to get out of this alive has already sailed?)
