"We're not a particularly large school, so even the most popular clubs aren't particularly huge," Mattea explains. "We don't even have enough students to field a full football team, and Field Sports is one of the more popular clubs. Let's see... I'd say Field Sports, Martial Arts, and Drama are the most popular, then Cooking, Trivia, and Art. The Gardening Club is pretty seasonal, and the Volunteer Club kinda ebbs and flows. The smallest two are Robotics and Occult, though of course there's kind of an uptick around Halloween."

"Ah, yes, I met a very kind student earlier who spoke with me about some of the clubs. Congratulations on your role and the production as a whole- it seems everyone is talking about the work going on in drama club."
Gabriel leaves a pause to let the praise sink in before continuing. "I have also heard that some clubs are currently unable to meet due to scheduling changes that have yet to be finalized. It's so unfortunate to hear. Obviously, with your record of involvement with extra curricular activities as school, you know well the value they hold for students-... for as long as students can reliably access them, anyway. I worry what difficulties this is causing for my classmates. And if it's weighing on their minds enough to bring up with another student they've only just met, I can guess it's effecting their ability to focus on classwork as well. What's the plan to resolve this? You seem so prepared Mattea. If anyone already has a plan going into action, it's got to be you."

"Well we're here to ask questions, right?" Aron waves a hand dismissively. "I really wanted to know about clubs too, so I'm glad ya' had me covered! They all sound like fun. You say participation is low, but I thought the population here was pretty high. What's with the participation, if you don't mind my asking?"

Mattea grins at Gabriel. "Shame is overrated." She turns to Aron. "Well, we're a physically large city, but our population's honestly pretty small in comparison. It's been a problem for a few years now..." She shrugs. "Well, not like there's much reason to come here. Other than Vitcorp's home office, there's not much going on. What brought you two here, anyway?"

Ilya shrugs. "Fine, if you want." She finishes sipping from her water bottle and starts off at a jog. "So how was... your... week?" she asks, awkwardly.

Floyd grins and does a little stretch before jogging beside Ilya "Ohhh my week it was fun..... less weird then last week didn't learn much new about that secret let's see I played Hockey with Freya, I meet Somnis amd Laura, went to the park with Katie, and this morning I got third place at the Chili cookoff!" he replies happily counting off the days of the week on his fingers as he does

I'm so close to graduating now that I'm going to try to dig in so deep here that they can't tear me away until after school ends, and I decide what to do for myself. I figure they'll hit the road with or without me not long after that."

Even though Aron's tone is innocuous, Mattea and Gabriel both feel an ominous sensation.

"What makes you think that?" Aron leans back and grins nonchalantly at Gabriel. "My family sells skyr. That's Icelandic yogurt. Need to make connections in new markets!"
He scratches his chin, hairs already sprouting, pensively. "Moving on, though. What happened to Oldvit High, anyway?" He intends this as a joke.
