"Burned down a few years ago, I hear," Mattea says. "Real nasty from what I heard. Dozens and dozens of students got caught up in it. They say their spirits are still trapped in the town, wandering around and continuing on with their lives as if nothing happened, eternally condemned to an unchanging existence." She takes a gulp of water. "They say you wouldn't even know if you were talking to one of them, either. Maybe some of the spirits don't even know they're spirits. Why, maybe some of them even enrolled in Newvit..."

"...Slow. It's always slow," Ilya says. She falls quiet for a bit. "Is this... normal? Is this the type of thing 'normal' people talk about?"

"Guess that explains the occult club." Aron looks straight-faced. Largely because he isn't sure if Mattea is joking or not.

Floyd considers this before replying "Hmmmm well if you ask me anyone who doesn't like talking to you isn't worth talking to but, if you need more things to talk about you should try going to clubs you meet people and get things to talk about ohhh oh and you should talk to your classmates about... you know class"

"Ohhh um let's see well I go to Soccer club alot but, Gardening, Art, Cooking, and Occult are also a lot of fun" He says quickly before reaching into his memory for the rest of the clubs "Oh yeah Then there's Trivia, Volunteer, Wrestling, Robotics, and Drama it's really more about what your interested in then what's "normal" to be honest most of the people I've met here aren't really normal which is great it's more fun that way" He adds cherefully

"Most of the students aren't assholes, but it really depends on what you're looking for. Sachi's good to know, since he and I work at the mall. The former president, Alice? She's kind of a bitch but she knows a lot of people in high places. Ugh. Let's see... Any club president if you're interested in their club, obviously. If you just want to get the layout of the city you could talk to Fox or Katie, they're always wandering around. Hm... Raine and Freya are both really popular, though Raine's pretty shy. Somnis is a bit, uh, kinda weird but friendly. Oh, yeah. Nutty - Natsumi - is pretty cool if you're just looking for someone to hang out with."

"Yeah, well, maybe sometimes it'd be nice to just feel normal," Ilya says.

"Right, club leaders." Aron nods. "Field sports? Volunteering?"

He looks over at Gabriel for suggestions, before quickly adding in an inquisitive tone "I'd like to see the occult club leader, too."

Illya folds her arms. "I can't skate on Thursday anyway what with the hockey club. Maybe I'll try going to a club like a... normal student."

"Right, let's see. Volunteering is Somnis, they just finished their fall project. Built a house for some guys. Kinda cool, actually. I think they're doing a few random little things before... Somnis was trying to decide between a canned food drive and a stint volunteering at the hospital, it kinda depends on what I can get approval for... Principal obviously wasn't thrilled with that liability. Field sports is run by Freya. They finish the soccer season this weekend and next they're starting... uh... was it basketball or tennis? I think it was basketball.

"The occult club is led by Buttons. Dunno where he got the nickname. He's, uh... a little bit... off... He's not, like, dangerous or anything, even if he's a little creepy. I mean I think it's intentional. And the robotics club president is, uh... yeah... let's just say she's not exactly a people-person. She's tolerable, just be ready for a cold welcome until you prove yourself."
