On the way to town, you get a message from Dewey. "Tia was able to do the same thing when we left the metal labyrinth. She said something about the Aether being denser than normal, too... Could we meet up to discuss this? I think this would be better discussed in person."


Tai, Leia
Morning

You arrive back in town, and the bus drops you off near the center of the city. A lot of students are out cleaning up the trash that got swept up and trapped near the city center: Somnis, Tia, Kiran, Buttons, Fox, Katie, Floyd, and Avel. Also two people you haven't met before. Dewey, Avalon, and Lance are also wandering around, but you're not quite sure what they're doing.

Natsumi hops out and looks around. "Wow... A lot of people are out here, huh? Um... Anyway, I need to go check on Dad. I'll see you tonight, Leia-person!" She skips off towards Vitcorp.

"I need to go check on Mom, too. We can meet to discuss things later this week once things have settled down. Try to not draw attention to yourselves for a while." Alice nods, then walks off in the same direction.


Floyd

Katie springs up. "Hi Floyd!"

"Yeah, we could use some help," Fox says. "You should grab some tools from Somnis first, though."


Sam, Dewey, Floyd

While you work and/or look around, a bus pulls up and drops off a group of people carrying suitcases, hiking packs, and... skis and snowboards, for some reason. Natsumi, Alice, Tai, and Leia also hop off, but Natsumi and Alice quickly make their way towards Vitcorp.


Aron

"I'm not Somnis. I'm Tia. And my rabbit's name is Sproink."

"Kiran. That's Somnis." He points towards the girl with the tall, rainbow socks, who currently seems to be trying to decide between a pair of wheelbarrows. "You should probably grab some gloves from her and check in."


Gabriel, Aron

While you're working, a bus pulls up and drops off a group of people. Four of them stand out as around your age. The first off is a black-haired girl in a blouse, skirt, and flip-flops despite the cool weather. The next is a very plain-looking, slightly chubby girl with brown pigtails and a simple outfit. Next is a guy with black hair in jeans and a hoodie. The last, limping out with some difficulty, is an olive-skinned girl in a tank top with a red tie. They speak for a moment, then Tie and Flip-flop start walking towards the tallest building nearby, a skyscraper marked Vitcorp.


Nora
Afternoon

You make your way to Vitcorp. It takes a bit longer than expected, but not as bad as you feared. Most of the major roads are cleared.

When you make it to Vitcorp, the doorman greets you. "Hey! All ready for your first day of work?" He has you use your wristband to get in to make sure it's working... even though there's a large hole in the glass door. A few other windows going up the side are cracked or broken, most covered with sheets at this point.

The front lobby's looks like it's cleaned up. The secretary looks up when you enter. "You're here early. Didn't anyone let you know you're not starting until later?" She smiles. "Just kidding. Here to see Alice, right? Through that door, take the 2nd right, then the 3rd door on the left."

You follow the directions, and find Alice waiting at the door. Instead of her usual business casual look, she's wearing a tank top and capri shorts, barefoot. Her hair's a bit mussed and she looks exhausted. "Nora... What an absolutely adorable outfit. Come right in, make yourself comfortable."

Inside you find a small living room. The center of the room has a short coffee table and a sleek settee. A small television on the wall is drowned out by a large sound system hooked up beneath it. A set of hooks on the wall has some bags and jackets, and a few papers cover a small 3-seat table set against the wall. A cracked door leads to what you assume is the bedroom. The floor is made of the same tile as the hallway, but covered by a patchwork mosaic of furry rugs that lead along the major paths like trails.

Floyd smiles "Hi Katie lovely weather we're having huh" He nods at Fox's response "Got it be right back" and he'll jog over to Somnis. "Hey Somn here to help got some tools for me?"

Floyd salutes "Aye Aye Captain" He says cheerfully putting on the gloves and pushing the wheelbarrow back to Katie and Fox "I got us wheels!"

Sam

(Is Cheese and GX still around Sam?)

"Thank you Ms. Somnis," Sam says.

Sam is still a bit shy about talking to the new person she's been paired up with. Despite having a chance to get use to the city more then the new guy she's still shy around new people.

"So umm where should we start?" Sam asks no one in particular.

Sam

Sam notices one of the new people coming towards her while she was talking with Somnis.

"Oh hello are you one of the new students,". "I am fairly new new my self,". "Well I been here about a couple of weeks,". "Anyways nice to meet you my name is Sam," Sam says to the new guy holding out her hand.
