"Wheels?" Katie looks over. "Oh, neat! A wheelbarrow. That's gonna really help. Huh... Guess we'll need to start thinking about driving tests next year, huh."
"You probably shouldn't drive..." Fox says.
Katie thinks to herself. "But being able to drive means we can go exploring new places."

Alice turns and walks off with an overly dramatic shrug. "I put so much time and effort into looking good most days and this is your preference? No accounting for taste, I suppose."
She takes a seat on the settee and produces a remote. "Weather like this is not normal, no. We get the rare tornado, but this... didn't seem like a tornado. Too large. It was more like a hurricane, but it came from inland." She turns on the television and a news report is already playing, discussing the bizarre weather patterns. A meteorologist is showing and explaining a map of local weather conditions, explaining that a high pressure system formed spontaneously as if from nowhere.

"Well, I'd be a lier if I said I wasn't spooked. A spontaneous weather system that can do damage like that... That's a rather scary thought. I'm just glad you and the others didn't get hurt."
She smiles at Alice. "Have you eaten yet, dear? Food is always the best comfort in times of stress."

"My father drove me in just yesterday morning." Aron replies. "Although I scoped the place out a few weeks ago. I like the city so far. I won't let a disaster get in the way of that, I assure you."
It took him a moment to find work gloves large eneough to fit his hands. Eventually, he dons a pair, turning back to Sam. "I was thinking I could use somebody to hold a bag open while I shovel debris in, then carry the bags over to disposal. I'd appreciate some help, if you wanna keep chatting."

Aron recounts between grunts as he scoops rubble into bags with Sam's help, mostly getting her to hold open bags for him which he lightly packs and then carries in batches to a disposal site. "Everyone seems real friendly. In fact, you can tell right now it's a healthy community, wouldn'tcha say?"
He thinks to himself that he should keep the family business well out.
