You follow behind Avel and look through a window. Inside it's smoky and hard to see much of anything through the dusty window. But Leia can make out a bit over a dozen blurry, vaguely humanoid blobs through the distortions. And what looks like a few tables, and some kind of counter in the distance.
As Avel gets to the door, a burly man in a white tank top stops him. "ID? Oh. You. Yeah, go on in."
"Thanks, dude." Avel marches in like he's done it a dozen times, then heads to the counter.
Tai
"For real?" Buttons asks. "I guess it was my idea..." He shrugs. "Glad you found something. And with my newfound inspiration, I'd say this trip was a success."
You make your purchase and head outside. "This has been fun, but I should head home before it gets dark. Don't want Moms to worry, y'know? See you at school tomorrow. Oh, yeah. And don't forget the big meeting. I think Tia said she wanted to do it at the mall. Y'know. The mall. Wink."

Leia will approach what she believes is a bouncer, fiddling her thumb.
"He... Hello... I... I'm exploring the city and... Hum... I am wondering if I could ask what this establishment is."

LeiaNatsumi answers shortly. "No...? Please tell me you aren't looking for portals somewhere dangerous  " The guard out front looks you up and down. "Minor? You can go in, but don't even think about trying to sneak anything alcoholic. Coffee, soda, and juice only," he says in a gruff voice. Before you can protest or point out you were just asking what's inside, he takes out a stamp and presses it to the back of your hand, leaving a red X. "Enjoy the show."

To Natsumi: "I'm in the industrial sector, is that dangerous... Well, I'm in... Whatever these establishment is now... I was kinda forced to go inside... I was just following Avel and assume that this was Mercia's HQ, but hum... I'll see I guess... Since... Well... I'm inside now... I hope this isn't Mercia's HQ... 0_0"

"Why would Avel be going to Mercia's HQ? (。ヘ°)" Natsumi replies. "I've got Freya here just tell me where you are and we'll come save you (・_・ヾ"
Despite your concerns, after a brief look around you seriously doubt this is Mercia's HQ. A bar has a few bottles of alcohol displayed on a shelf behind it, and they also seem to have some beer taps, a blender with some fruit nearby, and coffee-making equipment. There's a few old tables scattered around with comparatively nice-looking chairs. A small stage is the center of attention. Some small, old-looking speakers are set up on either side, along with some colorful spotlights and what you hope is a smoke machine. A group of three people are currently onstage tuning a pair of guitars and a drum set. Avel and about two dozen people of various ages who dress a lot like him are wandering around and chatting.

You take a seat and people don't go out of their way to bother you. The band finishes warming up and a 4th members appears from a room in the back. The smoke machine and spotlights go into overdrive and they start to play. They aren't... very... good... It's not unpleasant to listen to, but you really wouldn't pick them over anyone. Avel, on the other hand, seems to be having a blast. He's standing near the edge of the stage screaming and cheering with a beer in one hand.

You attempt to order a lemonade from the barista, and you watch a person go through an experience. He looks at you, looks at the menu board, turns to say he doesn't have any, stops, looks again, looks at his ingredients, pauses to think, then realizes that there's nothing stopping him from making lemonade with the ingredient he has on hand. A few minutes later and you have a fresh-squeezed (if a bit tart and pulpy) lemonade to drink while you watch the show. Avel, on the other hand, continues with the illegal underage drinking. By the time the show's over, he's more than a little out of it. He cheers for a bit, buys a shirt with the band's logo being sold at the edge of the stage, then staggers out into the night, pausing to bump fists with the bouncer.

Too shy to actually show herself to him, Leia will decide to sneakily follow Avel, just to make sure he goes home safely.

You follow after Avel to make sure he gets home safely. Which, considering how clearly impaired he is, seems like a good idea. But you don't have to follow after him for long before something happens. He pauses at the side of the road for a minute, pulls out his phone, looks at it, and puts it away. A moment later a car pulls up. Avel opens up the passenger door and gets in. You take a look at the driver and see a lady in a tank top with dark hair and tattoos covering her entire arms.

You and your pair of escorts head downtown and to the ice rink. When you arrive, you find that the doors are open and it does say it's closed. Inside, you find that a large part of the rink is still closed off with a temporary wall, and a tarp is covering some lingering damage to the ceiling, but they are setting up a goal and a small handful of people are lining up on half of the rink.
Freya seems pumped. "Alright, this is great! You two coming or not?"
Ilya has a more mixed reaction. "I... do not do hockey. I was hoping there would be a chance to skate properly, but that does not seem to be the case today."
"Aw, lighten up a little. You should join us!" Freya says.
Ilya crosses her arms and frowns.
