(Nah, Arcadia takes off her face paint despite Kiran's consideration of it.)

"Nah, showed up right before I got bored." Arcadia says, looking about and scoping the place out. "Eh. It ain't any KBBQ or a buffet or nothin', but this'll do juuuust fine. Better hope you got a full wallet and an empty gut, Kiran!"

Whenever they get their food, Arcadia gets like 8 stacked burgers and hogs a platter of steak fries...

"Where I'm from?" Arcadia scarfs down bites of a burger between her thoughts. "Depends on what part of my life you're askin' about. My real hometown's some gusty city in the north, but I never knew it all that good. See, my old man's a kingpin of an underground crime op. No big deal, honestly. But one day when I was still young, he called it quits. Ever since, we've just been movin', goin' from place to place and never settlin' down. To be honest, this town's prolly just another short-term stop 'til my dad gives the same ol' speech and moves us again. Lame as hell, but that's how the cards fell.

How 'bout you, pretty boy? Where you from?" Somehow, Arcadia's already finished one burger and is putting in work on her second one... and didn't that platter come with more fries than that?

"I'm from around here.  Been here all my life.  Dad travels.  A lot.  For work.  But I don't...  Huh.  Y'know, I'm not sure I've ever left the city," Kiran says.  "But, uh, back up for a second?  Are you sure it's OK for you to mention your dad's a... what, like, a mob boss?  Jeez.  I don't need to worry, do I?  He won't, say, have me killed for talking to you?"

Having learned nothing, you decide to stalk Zack.  He heads into the library.

Arcadia laughs. "What, you scared my old man's gonna have you swimmin' with a bag of stones 'round your neck or somethin'? Ha! Nah, you're fine. He pulled lots of strings to get out of that game, the coward. But see, once this school thing's wrapped up, Imma start it up again. I'll get a crew, then I'll run the greatest crime op this world'll never see. Say... if you ever end up livin' in a ditch, you should join my crew! Love that magician thing you had goin' on the other night. Where'd you learn that from?" Arcadia is dual-wielding burgers at this point.

Arcadia flashes a crafty grin. "That's what I like to hear! Once we graduate- or, more likely, you graduate while I prolly drop out early- you'll be set for life! No backin' out, you hear?" Arcadia gives a hearty laugh, chomping down on another burger. "So, before you dedicated yourself to my crew so quickly without second thought, what were your future plans? Y'know, your dreams 'n aspirations 'n all that. Or were you kinda driftin' through life without settlin' on any real goal yet?"

Walk towards him to see what he is studying.

"Haha! Same." Arcadia continues to attack the food in an almost primal manner. "To be honest, I just wanted to make some friends while I'm on this ride too. And I, uh... haven't been doin' too hot on that, to give it to ya straight. But I'm still workin' hard on it!" Arcadia gives a little flex, which looks a bit bizarre given the two burgers in her fists. "So how many friends you made so far, hotshot? Tons, I bet? Wouldn't mind meetin' some of 'em myself. I trust the instinct of a loyal future underling of mine."
