"Hm." Alice closes her eyes, then laughs. "Trying to envision you running around like that... ha. Well. If you like exploration, the park has a large, lovely forest with plenty of trails." She sighs. "To be honest, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all my free time, now that I'm not the president any more... I've always kept myself so busy between school and work and family obligations and the like, I'm just not used to having more than just enough time to sneak in the occasional book."

You've made a lotta friends now. Even if the last week's been really busy for everyone. Um... if I'd known what you were doing, though... well... I was doing some important stuff too, but I woulda gone and stopped you."

Because I, I don't know, actually care about this school and the students? I probably... lost the election because I was too busy helping a transfer student get moved in. And... I wouldn't have gotten back to Vitcorp so late that night if I hadn't been busy trying to... make sure things were in order for..." Alice stops. Nora can't read the look on her her face, but something about the look in her eyes is unsettling. "That's right... If I hadn't lost the election, if I hadn't decided to help Tia, if I hadn't... If I hadn't been so cocky. Because I thought... people would remember everything I've done. I worked so hard for three years doing everything I could, even risking my life for the other students, and they just... forgot about it." Alice giggles. "That's right, if I hadn't lost, I wouldn't... be like this... I wouldn't hurt so much... That's right, it's all... Mattea's fault..."
Alice goes silent, staring up at the starry sky with a small smile on her face. "Ah... What... were we talking about, Nora?"

"Yep! I think I've got decent chances, too. Theater and art aren't all the different, after all. It might be fun! I guess I won't have too much free time if they accept me, though..." The two of you sit around and chat about things definitely not related to the Otherworld for a while before Natsumi hops up. "I think we've been in here about long enough. Isn't there something you said you wanted to do? C'mon, let's go back inside!"
You're a bit disappointed to find that they only have modern, fluffy bathrobes to change into. And also surprised when Natsumi rejoins you in the lobby wearing a yukata - though it does look a bit too small for her. "Looks like I was right. I was afraid they wouldn't have yukata... which is why I brought my own! Though it's a bit snug now. I haven't really worn it in a long time."

"Oh, yes. Right. Sorry." Alice is quiet for a short time, which is nice, before she starts to stand up. "This has been... very nice. But, and I don't know about you, I'd really love a nice massage. Shall we head over to the parlor while we're still nice and warm?"

"That sounds exquisite," Nora answers, smiling. She stands up and stretches a bit, only bothering to keep the towel lightly pressed against herself with one hand, and follows Alice out to the changing rooms.

You and Alice pause to dry off and change into robes, then head to the massage parlor. You're only mildly surprised to find Alice's mother coming out of it. "Oh? Why, hello there. I certainly didn't expect to see the two of you out on another date so soon. Things must be getting quite serious," she teases.
"Of course," Alice answers flatly.
"Ah, just make sure you have her home by 10."
"Are you telling me or Nora?" Alice asks.
Marin laughs. "Stay out as late as you like. It's just good to see you have another friend."

"Actively...? Well, no. Not really. I guess I'd like to, but I haven't really had a chance to do this kind of thing until now. I mean I do do some stuff. With Dad, mostly. I, um... I mean Mom would've wanted that. And she would've loved this place. Actually she'd probably be busy listing every single error and stuff but she'd enjoy doing that as well as, well, doing stuff here." Natsumi pauses and looks down. "She'd... be able to tell you a lot better where all these customs come from. I don't really... know. Dad might, or maybe... not. I mean you don't know why you do everything we do here in America, right?"

Nora chuckles. "Tease me too much and I'm afraid I might blush. I'm merely glad to have made such a good friend as your daughter in so short a time. I've been in town for less than a week and already feel more welcome here than in my home town."
Less than a week and I have more questions than when I first arrived. Dating Alice might be a way to answer those questions... But that would be my mother's way of doing things. I'm not her.

Natsumi shrugs. "Yeah, you can be pretty oblivious about stuff sometimes," she says. "But, hey. Dad says you've gotta drink something really cool after coming out of the hot springs. I don't really get it, but he says it's a tradition, so let's go find something. I think there was a concession stand around here somewhere?"

"Oh, my. Well, of course you're welcome at tomorrow's event. The opening of the ski resort sh- oh, dear. If you'll excuse me, I need to go deal with this." Marin, still radiating as much confidence in a simple robe as she did in her suit yesterday, quickly excuses herself to follow an employee ducking into a back room.
Alice sighs, but the two of you are quickly led to a small private room to wait for the masseuse. Once you're alone, she begins. "I have to apologize for my mother, I see. And I'm sorry if going along with her teasing was a bit much. Though you don't strike me as the type to be phased by something like that." Alice pauses, then smiles. "I do wonder just how much it would take to draw a blush to those cheeks."
