Alice nods to Sam. "Right, you're with us then. Nora... alright, just stay close."
"Yay, Leia-person!" Natsumi jumps on Leia from behind and wraps her in a hug. "Let's go wi-i-i-i-ith Freya-person!"
Freya looks from the two. "Um... Sorry."
Natsumi shakes her head from Leia's shoulders, whacking the back of Leia's head with her hair. "It's OK, Freya. The Otherworld's dangerous, but you did go with Tia so it shoulda been fine... I'm just really glad you thought to call me when you needed help!"
"Ugh. This is my fault. I just wanted to put together a surprise and all this happened..." Freya shakes herself, then hops in place a few times. "Alright, shake it off. Time for that later. You two ready?"
"I'll go with you ladies," Kiran says.
"Oh... Joy..." Freya says.
"I was going to... eh, nevermind." Buttons looks at Alice, then over to Tai. "Yeah, I'll go with the first group."
Mattea wraps herself around Tai's arm, then sticks her tongue out and winks at Nora with a grin.
"Alright... Leia, tell Mercia's... troops to do what they want," Alice says. "I'll leave the phrasing to you."
"Angelic bitch..." Buttons mutters.
"Yes, well, everything else they've done aside, her troops did help us drive off the thing last night. And they claim they've been protecting that abandoned area for a while now... I don't see any reason to try to stop them from helping if they want to try to prove they aren't total bastards. We can't afford to waste time or resources anyway."
"Cool! Let's hit the OTHER BEEEEAAACH!" Kiran yells.
"Let's confirm the plan one last time," Alice says.
"Grant, Tai, Butts, and I head in first and start swinging," Mattea says. "Cut any bitch that looks at us funny."
"Then me and these cuties head a little further in and cut off any monsters moving to reinforce the first group," Kiran says.
"And last we move in to locate Raine," Alice finishes. "We let Mercia's troops do as they please. Anyone have anything else to add before we move?"

"Huh. Interesting..." Alice says. "British salutes use a different angle than ours."
Leia, Nora, Sam, Tai
"Oh! There are pitfalls on the beach, so be careful. And magma and spiderwebs underneath..." Natsumi says. "And jerk mole-creatures."
Grant raises a hand. "If you run into Tsuchi - the one who made those webs - do not try to fight her, especially now. Just run. Preferably to me."
"Tsuchi... as in, gumo?" Natsumi asks.
"Yeah, that's her," Grant says. "Don't mess with her. Let's go."
Move to Howling Cliffs.

You step through the portal, out of the caves and into... another cave. This one is nearly pitch-black compared to the crystal-lit cavern, the only light coming from the portal's dim glow. It takes a moment for your eyes to adjust, but you realize you're in a grey stone cave, a bit cramped with this many people inside of it. The stone forms a crescent shape, with a large pool of saltwater collected along one wall.
Mattea looks around, staying close to Tai. "So this is where all of you ended up that time..." she says quietly.
Alice takes a few steps out, then makes her way over to the wall and slumps over. "Ah, I'm so tired... And sore all over." The cave flashes as she takes out her phone and checks it, squinting against the bright light. "3AM... OK. We could swim out through that hole over there, but if we wait a few minutes the water will drop low enough we'll at least be able to keep our heads dry. Phones, too. Next time I'll..." Alice pauses, yawning loudly. "make sure to... bring a waterproof case..."
Raine walks over and takes a seat by the water, soaking her legs. "A few minutes, huh... That's fine. Oh! I need to let Freya and the others know we're out."
"Already did," Alice says, half-awake. "We can... have a meeting to talk about what happened some other day."

Nora yawns. "Right from work to here... Dear me, I don't think I've stayed up this long since preparing for my last championship chess match years ago... Alice dear, will it be all right if I spent the night at your place? It'll be much easier to explain to my aunt that I just crashed on your couch after work and forgot to text her... I'm far too tired to come up with another plausible excuse..."

He stretches and yawns, looking to everyone. "Is everyone safe?"

Sam makes her way next to Raine and sits next to her. Sam will then lean against her half wide awake due to the adrenaline and half asleep due to everything going on.
"Raine, it's difficult for me to explain,". "I know I did nothing wrong,". "But when I see someone I lo...care deeply about get hurt because of me,". "Well you know it brings back bad memories and bad feelings,". "Just like at the mansion how I was powerless to save you from those robot people,". "Now how you risked yourself to save me while I was having a really bad panic attack," Sam says to Raine.
Sam then lays her head on Raine's shoulder.
"I just hope I can actually protect those that I cherish one day,". "I don't want you to get harmed,". "I don't want you to be in danger,". "Thank you for being their," Sam says softly to Raine.

"I'm fine, other than my pride..." Tom says. "Stupid fire monster. Oh, yeah. Here, Raine." He tosses over her lost sandal.
Raine catches it with a frown. "These were my favorite shoes, too... Oh, but I'm fine. Thanks for the help, everyone."
"Don't worry about it," Tom says. "Everyone else?"
"Peachy," Mattea answers with a smirk.
"Fine," Grant chimes in.
"I took a few hits, nothing that won't heal," Buttons says.
"I'm so tired... And that... magma thing got me pretty bad," Alice says. "I'm going to need a few days to recover, I think."
Mattea takes a seat and motions for Tai to join her. She speaks quietly enough that others can't make out what she's saying. "I meant for me to wear for you... but your idea's good, too."
Alice yawns and sends some more messages on her phone. "That's fine, Mal- Nora. We can add sheets to the couch, or you can use my old room if you prefer. I do miss my old bed, but..." She trails off, then shakes her head. "We'll figure it out. Oh, and... sorry about having to get your clothes wet. I should have thought of it beforehand. I'll make it up to you later."
Raine rolls her shoulder and pushes Sam's head back up, staring her in the eyes. "Before you can worry about protecting anyone else, you need to be strong enough to protect yourself. Understand?"
Grant stares at Raine and Sam as they talk. Tom elbows him, and Grant jolts in shock. The two head over to the far side of the cave and sit together. Buttons continues to stand in the center, looking at the various groups for a moment before heading over to join Tom and Grant.

The water recedes enough to leave a pocket of air, and everyone makes their way through the cave. Grant seems less than enthusiastic about it. It opens up to a small crop of rocks half submerged in the ocean.
Everyone assembles on the beach, along with the other team fresh out of the Otherworld.
Freya tackles Raine to the ground, trying to keep herself from crying.
Raine thanks everyone for the help, and Tia apologizes again. Alice suggests everyone meet on Wednesday to discuss things and share information. She says for they might as well use the beach if she can't come up with anything better in the next few days. After a few goodbyes, everyone heads back home for the night.

You arrive at the beach and find Alice already here, sitting on a bench and dressed in a simple, blue sundress instead of her usual business outfit. She looks up as you approach. She looks tired. "...Good morning, Nora."
You also notice Freya out on the beach doing stretches.

Nora sits down beside her, carrying a bag of food from a cafe. "I brought food, and coffee. Thought you might need it, and seems I was right. Are you having trouble sleeping?"

"Trouble sleeping...?" Alice takes the coffee and sifts around for a bagel which she starts to nibble at. "...Yes. Yes, I suppose I am. Wha-"
Alice is interrupted as a bus arrives and releases a few people, one particularly loud.
Tai, Sam
The two of you arrive at the beach. Kiran shoves past the both of you as the bus pulls to a stop. "IT'S THE BEACH!" he calls out to the heavens before sprinting off towards the water.
Freya is standing out on the beach, doing some stretches in the sand. She's wearing a swimsuit with a t-shirt over it. The air is chilly despite the clear sky.
Alice and Nora are sitting on a bench on the pier, watching the water.
Nora
"...Kiran is a bit obsessed with the beach. Pay him no mind. What about you?" Alice finishes.
