Maybe this could work.

Sam will use Dean's list. Instead of trying to aim it at Shadow Somnis. She will toss it into the air and she will use her petals to chop up into tiny pieces.

The aim to create a large enough flash of light to catch or expose fake Somnis

"They don't even let us prepare! Alright. Good thing I went in first!"

Since her moves are AOE, Leia will now give a UFO to the rest of the party.

Dewey, Sam

"That's... a word for it," Raine says.

"We've successfully completed the job request given to us by my bird companion," Featherhat says, slapping some dust off his half-cape. "Your reward should be just about..."

A tiny bird flies by and drops a ball of swirling mist into Feather's hand.

Featherhat gained Condensed Mist x1!

"Now, we must keep our wits about us. We don't know who or what else lies in the shadows, ready to ambush us." He looks over at Gamma. "Sir Knight, how fare you?"

"I'm fine, and so are the rest of us," Gamma announces. "And if you don't need to do anything, we should keep moving. Obviously."


Leia

Buttons unleashes a spirit from his lantern and it latches onto Kiran while he climbs to his feet. Kiran is quick to throw a handful of knives at his counterpart, who answers with knives of his own. They collide in the air and clatter to the ground before dissipating.

Freya winds up with a ball, only for a yo-yo to shoot out and wrap around her. Freya trips starts to trip as a second yo-yo wraps around her and catches her. "H-hey, let me go!" she yells.

You call for more UFOs. Kiran and Buttons are both sucked up into some, but as Freya is lifted away Natsumi's mom yanks her back down to the ground.

Clothes Attack on both enemies

Clothes Attack: A shirt or a pair of jeans appears out of nowhere, then tries to wrap itself around the enemy, grappling it. If the enemy is too big to get grappled, it will only be slowed down. [Base]

Sam, Dewey

"I believe in your promising capabilities, he who was humbled by a dagger!" Featherhat backhandedly declares to Gamma.

"Fuck you.  And no, those aren't fog.  They're just angel-looking monsters.  Ran into some on the way to the park," Gamma says.

A paper airplane flies in front of Featherhat's face. He snatches it and unfurls it, skimming through it while keeping the foe on the corner of his eye. The back of the parchment had a drawing of a bird on the back. "Comrades, exploit an elemental weakness! You'll be rewarded on completion!"


Leia

Buttons hops out of his UFO and rushes at the not-mom with his shovel.  As he swings, Freya jumps into the way and takes the hit.

"OW!  Damn it, why me ag-"  Freya is interrupted as she suddenly takes out a tennis ball and throws it at Leia's UFO where it bounces off with a loud ping.

Leia unleashes a clothes beam at the pair.  One pair of jeans wrap around the fake Kiran, while the other lashes around Freya.

"Oh, come on...!" she yells.

"No, wait, if you're all tied up she can't throw you in front of our attacks!" Kiran calls down.  A pair of large, snake-shaped hammers appear and smash into Not-Kiran and Not-mom.  As he said, Freya doesn't jump in the way this time.  "Also-"

"KIRAN," Freya yells threateningly.

Leia

Leia summons a spooky ghost that crashes into not-Kiran, then turns to not-mom. She tries to yank Freya into the way, but she's too wrapped up in the jeans and barely slides halfway in time, leaving her to get slammed and slimed.

Not-Kiran seems to be in a panic as he continues to fight against the clothes. Leia's UFO goes crashing to the ground, but not before letting her know they're both weak to Celestial damage.

Buttons unleashes a spirit that encircles around Leia, and she feels a bit stronger. Kiran drops a load of knives on not-himself and the mom.

She tries to pull Freya in the way again, then gives up on her, leaving her to do a worm impression. The yo-yos come flying back to her, and just as quickly shoot out and wrap around you instead. You can feel your arms being pulled as you open up a Moon Scroll and unleash it.

Not-Kiran finally breaks free, just in time for Buttons to unleash a beam of light at the pair. The beam seems to refresh them, instead. "Oh, d- that's so annoying! Stop making us do stuff! Let her go!"

Kiran drops out of his saucer and makes his way towards Natsumi's mom. He pops a flower out of his sleeve. "A flower, for a lovely lady..."

"Really? You're going to hit on your friend's mom's ghost!?" Freya asks.

Instead of taking the flower, she yanks you over, and you take it instead. The flower proceeds to explode in your face, but it blasts the yo-yo strings off, too. You can feel yourself back in control, just in time for Natsumi's mom to bounce one of them off your face as she drops back. Your key starts to hum softly.

Freya manages to squirm out of the jeans and joins you as Kiran returns to his UFO. "Ugh... We're practically back where we started..." she says. "Can we just, y'know, smash her before she does anything else?"
