Sam, Dewey

"I can't hear you up here!" Raine yells down at Sam.  As Sam causes clouds to gather, Raine flicks her wrist and sends a stream of water down at the angel.  The angel staggers back.  As Kirbi runs at the angel and swings a flaming sword, the angel locks blades with it.  The angel reaches out with its free hand and grabs Kirbi, its palm exploding in a flash of gold.  And then Kirbi was gone.

Dewey summons a lance and fires it at the angel, who goes flying back again.

Featherhat unleashes a laserpointer and drops a large chest on the angel.  He quickly rummages through the chest, pulling out a small, round shield.

Another angel comes flying in.  Gamma takes a shot, but only grazes it.  The angel dives and joins the fight.

(Here I thought the Halo meant he had Cupid powers. But flaming swords is cool also. Also Press F for Kirbi he passed away far to Poyo)

Sam

"Noooooooo Kirby," Sam calls out.

Sam will take aim at the angle that took out Kirby. She will ready her finger and Unleash a Water Gun at her.

Sam

Sam is still angered about what happened to her sweet puff ball Kirbi.

Sam is trying to think of what to do and then an idea forms of what to do.

"Okay guys I have a plan, but it would probably work better if the angle doesn't notice,". "Think you can provide a distraction,".

Sam will wait until the angel isn't paying attention to her then she will feign an attack with her sword whip towards the back of it. At the last moment she will activate Rain(e) Petals and have all the petals crash into the angel at once

Dewey, Sam

Raine comes falling down, landing on the angel before jumping back into the air.  The angel raises its sword, but Featherhat takes a shot and blasts its wings.  It falls to the ground, then raises its sword and swings a wave of fire.  Featherhat's key starts humming a bit louder.

Dewey fires a stream of snow at the increasingly annoyed angel.  It throws its sword up, trying to block some of it.  Sam uses the opportunity to shoot a barrage of petals at its back.  The angel, badly injured, gets ready to keep fighting.

"Oh COME ON!" Gamma yells.  Three more angels come flying in.  They take a shot at one, grazing it.  With what's left of its wings it manages to crash into Gamma.  They swing at it with their cannon, firing when they have some space.  The angel grabs them and jumps off.

The other two angels land and join the battle alongside their badly injured ally.


Leia

"I'm unsure how anything she does work, she seems to generate the opposite of what we try? Also, she's weak to the Celestial element if any of you has that! I'll force her to target me, at least we'll have a bit of control on what she does!"

Murder Scroll: Leia puts a scroll on herself or an ally that provokes all enemies. [Natsumi 3]

"Just make sure not to draw too much attention!" Buttons yells.

As he does, a yo-yo flips around and whacks you in the forehead.

"Hey, stop that already!" Freya winds back and throws a baseball at Fake-mom's knee. She hops over the attack, only for Buttons to be waiting with a shovel. He bashes her in the face and sends her staggering back.

Kiran tries to attack her, only for a box to appear around him. "Oh, yeah? Two can play at that game!" he calls to his doppelganger. A box appears around the other him, and swords appear to stab into both at once. The two Kirans both shuffle out, injured.

"Wait, don't you usually switch places with the other box when you do that? Which one's the real one?" Freya asks.

"It's me, obviously!" Kiran yells. The other is very clearly made of the same mist-fog as the other fakes.

"I can't tell!" Freya insists. "We'll just have to take them both down!"

"I... If all this fog is Natsumi's mind... If we're fighting Natsumi's mind... Maybe she doesn't want us to hurt her mom? Maybe the whole time we weren't supposed to fight this fight? Do you guys think we should run away?"

"Yeah, that's probably about right. But she wouldn't have wanted to hurt the fake me or the fake you, either. And I'm pretty sure her mom never used a soul key, it's just her imagining it. The fake should have a limit..." Buttons answers.

"Alright... If she's so weird, maybe putting her weirdness on our side will help?"

Enemy scroll on Natsumi's mom

Enemy Scroll: Leia puts a scroll on an enemy. An afterimage of that enemy will join the party for the rest of the battle or until it is defeated. In the case of bosses, the afterimage is significantly weaker. The afterimages are not player-controlled. Only one Enemy Scroll per battle. [Natsumi 4]

Freya catches her baseball, then quickly tosses it towards Kiran. It whizzes past his face to his the fake.

As you take out a scroll, the fake Kiran responds by rushing in and slapping you in the face. It's more confusing than painful.

You throw a scroll at Natsumi's mom, and a more solid fake of her appears on your side.

The fake mom immediately throws her yo-yos at the faker fake, who does the same back. They both wind up wrapped up in the others' yo-yo strings, falling over.

Buttons unleashes a spirit on Kiran. "Go ahead!"

"Yeah, yeah!" he yells. He summons a giant sword over the fake Kiran and drops it. The fake Kiran starts to flicker in and out. "Almost got him!"

"Hum... These two are dealing with each other... I... I think... No... Now... It... It's time for revenge for that slap!"

Meteor Kick on the fake Kiran.

Meteor Kick: Is that a meteor falling on the party? Oh no! Kick it! Kick it! Deals heavy Earth damage to a single enemy. [Zack 5]

"They're certainly making it easier to deal with each other..." Freya says. She rolls a bowling ball at the entangled mom before she can get up. "That's for wrapping me up earlier, you... faker!"

The fake Kiran summons a giant sword over Leia and drops it alongside a meteor. Leia kicks the meteor, but the sword stabs her. Her key starts to buzz faintly. The meteor slams into the fake Kiran. When it fades, the other Kiran is gone.

"Let's finish this up...!" Buttons yells. He leaps up and brings the shovel down on the fake mom, and Kiran comes in from the other side with a snake hammer.

By the time the moms manage to wiggle free from each other's grabs, Freya throws another barrage of balls. As the two fade, they leave behind a few spots of thick mist.

Obtained Condensed Mist x4

"I... I'm unsure if I can go through another one like this... Can we try to avoid the next obstacle stealthily?"

"I don't think we're going to have to worry about that..." Buttons says. You see a swarm of small bubbles float by. "Hey, if you want to make any new armor or something, we should do it now."

Freya adjusts her swimsuit. "I... think I'm good? Since we're fighting by a river."

"You don't need an excuse to wear a swimsuit looking like that," Kiran says. "Mine's not bad either, right?"

"It's fine." Freya doesn't even look. "Ready?"

"I like this armor! Let's see if this new material helps fighting this mist... Well, actually, I didn't use the Leeche's defenses yet..."

Leia produces a bat that seems to be made of fog. When she grabs it, she realizes it's a bat covered in scales, with a thick fog cloud constantly leaking from the gaps in the scales.

Batvalon (Water Damage +15, Phys +6)

Leia's outfit changes, shifting as it turns bright red, growing longer until it transforms into a long dress that reaches down to her calves, just short enough to show off her wedge sandals with red straps that wrap up to form pretty bows at her dress line. The extra height throws her off balance for a moment, but she quickly adjusts to it, as if the armor's helping to compensate. A pair of cute red ribbons hold her hair in pigtails, with a small masquerade mask over her face. The dress itself is plain and undecorated, made of nice fabric with long sleeves... and a deep V cut in the back.

"Whoa," Kiran says. "Fancy." He pokes her in the back.

Freya slaps his hand. "Kiran!"

"What? I was just checking to if her big crab tattoo was real. It's cool."

Apparently it also has a big crab tattoo on her back. Leia struggles to see, but can't quite get a look.

"Uh... Do you want me to take a picture...?" Buttons asks.

Crab Tattoo (Fire Res +10, Anti-Aether +3, Water Res -5)

"Hu... Hum... This... This isn't really my style, so... No... No pictures please..."

Leia turns visibly red, uncomfortable by this outfit, but as she feels the same energy as her sticky bat, she understands this will help with the Leeches. The Leeches which she hates very much. As cool as she finds her new mist bat, she wants to be prepared in case of Leeches. She will keep the Sticky Bat and equip the crab Tattoo.

"I... I.... I can see the crab if we go near reflecting water..."

Kiran stops and takes his hand out of his pocket. "Aw. I wanted a picture."

Freya smacks him again.

"...Ready? This is it," Buttons says.

"Le... Let's go..."

You proceed across the bridge, making it to the other side. Buttons stiffens up, then starts walking along the bank. "...This is the spot," he mutters. His armor flickers on and off. He pauses, taking a deep breath. "Yeah. Right here." His armor stabilizes. "OK. So, where is Nat?"

More bubbles appear. Freya points up. "There!" she yells.

You look up. There's a large swarm of bubbles floating above you in a rainbow of colors, but most of them are bright blue. Inside the largest bubble, near the center of the cloud, Natsumi is curled up, hugging her knees to her chest.

"Are... Are those entities... I... I want to just go up there and hug her... Hug my girlfriend... But... I... I doubt it' that simple... I can't even fly... Well... May... Maybe my UFOs can, but... But... It's not really precise... If those bubbles ARE entities we have to... Not touch them...

If... If they're just bubbles... We could... We could just pierce them and then Natsumi would fall... But... But... I don't think falling is what you want when you're in distress... I know what being in distress means...

I... I... I never know how to help myself... Natsumi is the one who helps me... I... I don't know how to help her without her helping me..."

"Give her a fish?" Kiran suggests. "Hey, Natsumi! Come down here and I'll take you to that all-you-can-eat sushi place!"

There's no response.

"...What Kiran is trying to say is that we're all trying to help her, not just you," Freya says.

"Yeah." Buttons readies his shovel. "Hey, if we just need to wake her up, then maybe dropping her isn't such a bad idea? Her armor should absorb the fall just fine, and I think that's a really good way to wake up, right? Like when you start to fall asleep and then you think you're falling so you wake up really fast?"

"...We can at least try to catch her..." Freya says.

"O... Okay... Than... Thank you guys... Someone needs to pierce the bubble... I... I will wrap her in clothes to slow her descent while she falls... I... I think I have enough strenght to catch her... Can anyone help with slowing her fall though?"

"A little," Buttons says. "But first we're going to need to deal with those bubbles protecting her!"

Freya readies a ball. "Yeah. I don't think it's just gonna give her up so easy." She hurls the baseball, and one of the smaller bubbles shifts into the way to block it. The bubble bursts, but bounces the all harmlessly to the side. "Yeah... That's what I thought."

The bubbles start roiling and swirling around each other as the cloud lowers itself towards ground level.

"...Great job, Freya. You pissed off a whole cloud," Kiran says.

"Well... Haha... It turns out THEY ARE entities..."

Thunder Cam: Deal Electric damage to the tallest unit. [Jimmy 3]

Leia takes a picture of the bubbles, and a lightning bolt drops down and stabs through a dozen of them.

"Good! Bubbles go pop, pop, pop!" Kiran yells. He swings his arm and a dozen knives arc out of his sleeve, flying through the horde of bubbles and popping even more.

"Dammit, you're making me feel pretty useless here," Freya says, throwing her ball and popping a pair of bubbles again.

"Don't worry about it, that's still two less to deal with," Buttons says. He opens the shutter on his lantern and a burst of light shoots out, popping even more. One of the bubbles he pops erupts into a spew of smaller bubbles that fly off in every direction, some bouncing off all of you before popping.

"Ow!" Kiran says. "That was just a bubble, why'd if feel like a rock?"

"It's all magic, dummy!" Freya answers.

"Oh, right. That." Kiran nods.

Some of the larger bubbles shoot out, bouncing off your group before rejoining the herd, hitting Buttons, Leia, and Kiran.

"Why's it ignoring me?" Freya asks. You notice a particularly large bubble floating directly above her. It drops down and completely engulfs her before starting to float back into the air. "AH! Why me again!? Stupid... bubble!" She lashes out at her prison, attacks bouncing off uselessly.

"Somebody save her, I don't have much projectiles!"

Light Aura Spread: Leia's weapon is filled with a light aura. She then attacks with her weapon, causing light damage. The light aura spreads on impact. The bigger the enemy is, the more damage it takes. [Zack 3]

"Yeah... I'll get right on that..." Kiran says. He ignores Freya, waving his wand and firing a stream of stardust into the bubbles. Several of the smaller bubbles pop harmlessly.

"Bit busy..." Buttons mutters. He concentrates on his lantern, nothing obvious happening.

"I'm gonna remember this..." Freya mutters as the bubble starts to drift off.

"I'll help you, just give me a minute...!" Buttons calls.

"I don't control where this thing goes!" she yells back.

Leia smashes the bubbles with a large ball of light that starts to leap between bubbles. It spreads through over a dozen that explode before the other bubbles move far enough away to avoid the rest.

Freya continues to smack uselessly at her bubble.

The bubbles shudder for a moment, then several form up in a line. A beam of light fires from one to the next, growing more and more focused before drilling into Leia's chest. It burns a little, but her new armor seems to be dissipating the heat well.

"OK, ready," Buttons says. "I've got Freya."

"I don't remember what you're doing, but let's make it bigger!"

Leia will use Alien Abduction on Buttons so his move becomes an AOE.
Alien Abduction: A UFO comes from the sky and abducts an ally. It transforms that ally's attack into an AOE on the next turn and the UFO will take the damage for the ally until it's destroyed. Leia can use it on herself. When an enemy attacks the UFO, it reveals a weakness and a resistance. [Base]

Freya's bubble continues to float off as Buttons disappears up into a UFO.

"OK, here we go...!" Buttons summons a new spirit, then immediately causes it to burst into an orb of darkness. The blast explodes, leaving a large hole in the bubble cloud. You can see a path through to Natsumi. Freya's bubble pops, dropping her down into the river below.

Kiran busts out laughing. "See, a swimsuit was the right choice!" He waves his wand again, stopping as another large bubble grabs him.

Freya swims back to the shore. "Ugh... C-cold..."

"Guess Natsumi's not completely out of control..." Buttons says.

The bubbles start shooting around wildly again, smacking you and Buttons, and Freya as she climbs out of the water and sending her falling back in. She grabs the shore and drags herself back to join the fight. Natsumi shudders in her bubble slightly.

Kiran starts floating off.

Almost a third of the bubbles are gone. The remaining bubbles start to reform into a new pattern, not a cloud but a humanoid shape. A giant bubble golem starts to form, with the Natsumi-bubble taking position at its heart.

"Well, it got taller instead of compact, so let's do this again...

Are you okay Freya?"

"I'll be fine once I dry off!" Freya yells.

Leia calls down more lightning. It arcs to Kiran's bubble and pops it before it goes over to the river, sending him crashing to the ground. "Ow... I'm OK!" he yells.

Buttons releases another bright spark of light, the spirit not disappearing after it bursts. "Huh?"

Instead of some of bubbles popping, the blast seems to spread throughout the golem as a whole. The bubbles start to fuse together, becoming more and more solidly humanoid.

Freya tries throwing her bowling ball at the monster's foot. It bounces off, causing the monster to ripple a bit. Kiran picks himself up, running up to slap the golem in its knee.

The bubble making up the golem's head suddenly changes, a face emerging. A mouth, covered in fangs emerges. A stream of freezing air shoots out of its mouth. Kiran and Buttons shudder, and you feel freezing. Your key starts humming slightly.

"You OK, Freya? ...Freya? Hey!" Kiran shoves Freya's shoulder.

Freya crinkles and snaps as she turns her head to glare at him, covered in chunks of ice. "I... can barely move..."

"Dammit... Nat, wake up!" Buttons yells. "Come on already!"

Natsumi turns slightly.

"Hurting it makes it more powerful?"

Leia will revert to her original outfit and make her weapon disappear, then approach the bubble humanoid while fiddling her thumbs. While her voice has her usual shyness, she speaks loudly.

"Natsumi. It's me. It's us. We're not here to hurt you. I would never hurt you. It's me. Leia! I... I... I love you... Please... Please wake up. I think we're hurting you. We don't want to hurt you... You saved me... We're here to save you. Not to hurt you."

She will try to reach her hand as high as she can.

Natsumi shifts more, then opens her eyes slightly. She blinks, confused. The golem reaches towards Leia slightly, then curls the bubbles in its hand into a fist. It winds back and smashes her, then punts her back all the way into the river. Her key starts buzzing louder.

In her bubble, Natsumi suddenly snaps awake. She starts pounding on her bubble, panicked. The golem reaches up with its other hand and smacks its chest, knocking Natsumi over on her butt.

"Hey!" Freya yells and throws a baseball at its head. The golem slowly turns to look at her.

"Let her go, asshole!" Buttons drops any form of magic and runs at it with his shovel, winding back as hard as possible before slamming it in the shin.

"Leia!" Kiran yells. He produces a flower and hands it to her as he drags her out of the river. "Jeez... What happened to your cool dress? Crabs are great swimmers."

Leia takes the flower and her key returns to quiet humming. The golem continues to snarl.

More figures start to form in the mist nearby. You recognize most of them as other students. As they approach, a large doorframe appears in front of the fake Raine. A magic door appears and slams shut in her face. When the cloud Mattea next to her opens it, a man steps out wearing a black gi and a mask like a grinning Japanese oni. He produces a spiky club and smashes through the fog-creature as two more men step through, one swinging a ball and chain bigger than you and the other holding an equally oversized glaive.

Natsumi sees Leia climbing out of the water and claps her hands. A tail sprouts from Leia's back and another from Kiran, Buttons, and Freya, all wagging slightly and leaving an afterimage as they sway. They solidify until they produce 9 identical tails. Leia feels a lot stronger.

(Forgot. Leia puts the crab tattoo back on since she's back to fighting.)

Sam

Sam isn't sure what to do. So many angles and feather hat isn't looking so good.

Sam takes a moment to think what to do.

She then has an idea. Sam will collect all her petals and form them a form her celestial discus around them.

She will then toss the discus towards the group of angles and wait until it makes contact before exploding the petals right into there face.
