Yes. Why would you need healing if the fight's over? (In case someone screws up and says the wrong thing and we end up getting party wiped.) |

Kiran pulls out his phone and starts dialing someone while you two go to work. "Hey, Nat-" He pauses. "OK, but you found a cure for the statue thing, right? ...Are you OK? ...OK, but just... hurry, OK? At the fountain!"
Dewey starts looking at everything. His book is writing in information agonizingly slowly. It doesn't seem to differentiate between the different parts of his body, whether they're petrified or not. But he does learn his blood type is B+. That's interesting, right? All the pieces of the gorgon corpse-statue seem to give the same information that it's part of a gorgon corpse, followed by a reference to its bestiary entry. At least these chunks of rock seem to be potentially useful?
Dewey, Tai, and Karl each obtained Heavy Scale x2!
Kiran walks over to the Somnis statue and hugs it. He seems to be whispering something. Suddenly there's a loud cracking sound as the statue reaches out to hug him back. Everyone looks expectantly, thinking the curse might be starting to wear off. It doesn't move after that. Oh...
Tai goes to work looking for where the snake came from. She came crawling from between the statues in this direction, right? He starts looking around that area. He actually manages to find where she came from! ...Unfortunately. And he's sure he got the right place, because two more are slithering out of a nest in a nearby store. And they look pissed.

The snake lady snarls. "Not unless you can bring them back from the dead." She doesn't lower her spear, but she does seem to perk up suddenly. A moment later, you hear a loud roaring echoing from the distance. "Asterius?" she mutters. She seems anxious. Then she jerks her head in the other direction. Once again, you hear a distant noise. This one is a hideous shriek. "One of those gorgon sisters... is dead...?" This time, she seems... excited.
You have absolutely no idea what she's talking about. But it sounds like something's going on.

The snake's tongue flicks in and out of her mouth. In and out. In and out. She seems to be lost in thought. "Perhaps... I could finally reclaim my Soul Labyrinth..." She clacks her spear against the ground and it dissipates. She comes twisting out of the store, forming a wide coil around the party as she reveals her full, massive size. She's easily 100ft long. Alice is trying to hold it together as best she can, but she's visibly trembling.
"Very well. Climb onto my back. We ride to war!"
"O-onto your..." Alice turns pale and collapses to her knees. "Haha... Ha..."

Morgan gently holds Alice and casually holds her while they climb onto the snake.
Morgan is there to reassure Alice everything will be okay. If she Glays Morgan will respond with a Syl (long floppy bunny ears FTW).
"Yeah lets kick those Gorgon sisters ass,". Morgan lets out.

Morgan tries to help Alice up. It's like trying to lift a dummy. She continues laughing quietly to herself, and Tom has to help pick her up. She makes a very interesting sound when you lift her up onto the snake's back. Tom keeps her slung over her shoulder and Morgan helps to hold her as the snake starts sliding forward.
Their mount produces a horn and fires off two sharp blasts as they slither towards at a surprising speed. Riding the snake is weird, with the way it twists side to side as it moves forward. She moves incessantly, making confident turns at every intersection as if she has the entire maze memorized.
Leia, Vincent
Vincent changes some settings and powers up his synthesizer from the safety of the UFO.
The deer-mask-girl's pocket starts vibrating, and she quickly pulls out her phone. "I can't really talk right now! ...Yes, we're working on it! I- ungh!" She dodges out of the way as the minotaur swings at her. It then turns around and bashes the UFO, before taking another swipe at Moondeer. "Y- GAH!" It sends her sprawling to the ground, and her phone bounces and skids away. Then the minotaur roars, as it seems to be in pain. From her back, she points her hand and summons another stream of small spirits to crash into the monster.
The other guy bashes the monster in the kneecaps again, and Leia smashes it in the abdomen. Its armor does indeed seem weaker. Which is probably why that axe strike didn't kill Mooney.
A loud horn echoes though the area with two sharp blasts. The minotaur stops and looks around. He turns and gives the group one more loud, angry bellow - it sounds like a warning - and takes off running at an impressive speed. It rounds a corner and disappears from sight, though its heavy footfalls still echo throughout the area.
Lighty picks Moongirl up and helps her dust off. "Well... That works," Light says. He turns to stare at the two of you. You can't make out his expression through his hood's shadow, but you don't feel a whole lot of warmth. "Now, as for you two... You're obviously with Vitcorp - that's a big strike against you - but at least you don't seem to be the same as the rest of those assholes."
"Light. Don't be ungrateful." The girl stands up and gives a small bow. "Thank you for the help."
"...Yeah. Thanks. Now, I hate to be rude, but we need to... er... OK, this has been bugging me this whole time. Why are you here? And what's in that package you're holding?"
Dewey, Tai, Karl
(You are in combat, btw. Tai still has one whole working arm and most of a head. Though Kiran's kinda... stuck... Whoops. I didn't think that one through.)

While Dewey's face remains almost as unreadable as ever there's a very faint look of annoyance on it.

Tai, Dewey, Karl
Karl kowers in the korner.
Dewey points at the one on the left and shoots a fireball. It explodes and she screeches at him. Looks like its still effective. Tai raises his good hand and unleashes a wave of icy and fire. They seem unhappy about it, but not particularly hurt.
Kiran seems to be having trouble dislodging himself from that girl's statue. "I, uh, seem to be stuck... Can you let me go, Sweetheart? Please? ...Guess not. Well... Good luck, guys!"
The sound of thundering footsteps comes pounding around the corner. A friggin' giant bull-headed muscle-bound guy, easily 12ft tall and carrying a pair of friggin' giant battleaxes comes plowing straight through one of the walls. Well, that explains the mooing sounds in the distance. It takes one quick look around the room, then levels its horns and charges one of the gorgon sisters.
Dewey, Karl, and Tai can all tell they're almost out of time.
