Clothes Attack on the Gorgon

Levi, Morgan

You start running in the direction the gorgon headed.  Lamia does, as well.  She very quickly leaves you behind.  There's a loud clattering sound behind you that kind of adds a bit of drama?  It was honestly probably just a statue falling over after being disturbed by the battle, but you feel a bit cooler.  It doesn't exactly feel like the most dramatic escape, partly because you're feeling slow and heavy. And kind of... generally rock-like...


Vincent, Leia

Vincent fires a wave of sound at the gorgon's face.  She flops onto the ground, where the bull picks her up by the tail and swings her into a wall.  Moonghost shoots a stream of ghosts, while Lightspirit walks up and bashes her in the face with a shovel before she can get up.  Leia throws a pair of pants at her.  It knocks her over again.

The gorgon rears up, eyes flashing, and stares at you all.

"Dammit!  I can't believe I feel for that..." Light complains.

You can all feel your skin starting to grow harder.  And then it stops.  You feel fine.  The gorgon, however, is slowly turning to stone and crumbling to pieces, a glowing blue spear in her back.

Another, larger gorgon is coming towards you from the same direction as the others.  It looks like she threw it.

The minotaur wastes absolutely no time turning on his former allies.  He swings at you before another spear thuds into his back.  He turns to face the giant snake and bellow at her.

"Run, humans!" she calls to you.

Your partners each grab one of you and start pulling you along.  "Alright, mission accomplished!"

"Come on, it's time to go!  Back to our world!"  The girl pauses to grab her dropped phone from the ground.

When you reach the portal you came in from, you find that it's starting to shine much more faintly.  "So soon...?" the girl asks.  She pulls her phone out.  "Oh...  it's cracked.  But it is almost time for sunrise."  Leia gets a glimpse of her phone.  It indeed cracked.  And her background is a cute fox playing in some leaves.  "You should be able to go deliver your package.  Just use a door that doesn't have a portal blocking it, OK?  And, um...  Here."  She hands you both a few strange materials.  "Just call it thanks, I guess."

Each obtained Leathery Wing x2, Reticulated Skin x2, Heavy Scale x3

"Are you sure you want to give them that stuff?  ...Well, I guess it's fine...  Come on.  Let's get out of here."


Tai, Dewey, Karl

The stone on your skin suddenly cracks and falls off.  It's a much faster process than when you turned to stone.  Within a few seconds, you're completely back to normal - along with the entirety of the rest of the people petrified around the fountain.

You hear a loud splash as Somnis shoves Kiran into the water.

She and Katie both quickly release their soul keys before anyone notices them.  Fox grabs his from off the floor and tucks it in his pocket.


Levi, Morgan

The stone building up on your bodies starts to flake off.  "It looks like they did it!" Tom says.

Alice stops to check her phone.  "The portals will be closing soon.  If we aren't out by sunrise, they'll be closed until midnight tomorrow..."

"Dang.  Alright, let's get mov...ing.  Crap, what about, y'know, all the people we came to save?  It'd be a problem if that bull just cut them down or something," Tom says.

"Tch.  Do you remember the way out?" Alice asks.

Tom thinks, traces the air for a bit, and nods.  "Pretty sure."

Alice bites her lip.  "Alright.  I've got the map, so I'll go back for the others.  Tom, you get the others out of here.  We should have enough time if we hurry.  Get going, I'll be right behind you."  She doesn't dally, running back towards the plaza.

"Alright, be... careful, I guess," he says after she's already gone.  He sighs.  "Always such a busybody.  Alright, rookies, field trip's over.  Time to head home."  He starts jogging along a path, occasionally slowing to think about the next turn.  He manages to reach the portal while its glow is slowly fading.

Dewey turns to look at the various people who changed back with them.
"We should probably get out of here. Follow me, I drew a rudimentary map that should help us return to the entrance."
He then begins leading the way back from where they came.

Morgan

"Yay, we did it we actually did it," Morgan jumps in the air.

Morgan make sure she has everything on her and wonders something. "Wait what will happen when we go into the portal?". "Will I still look like an anime bunny girl and will Levi still look like a sea serpent type thing?" Morgan asks

Levi, Morgan

Tom pats Morgan on the back. "No idea. Alice and I don't grow anything like that. But if it's permanent, you don't need to worry. It should be a pretty simple procedure to remove them. Alice can probably do it herself." Then he shoves her through the portal.

You stumble out the other side. No poof tail. Normal ears. Holding your soul key.

Having made it out, Levi takes a moment to breathe. He looks around and notices he's wearing normal clothes again. "We're...not dead. I can't believe that we made it out..."

He hugs Tom. "We did it!"

He then quickly realizes he's back in reality, releases Tom and blushes in embarrassment, looking away from him and scratching his head. "Um...I guess now we just wait for Alice."
