True if we want to make better gear would it be better to focus on one foe or just get a variety of parts.

"Make... new gear..." Mareena mutters. "Instead of selling the parts? I guess you can do that..." She produces a small sheet of paper and reads it. "Let me see. To craft a new weapon or set of armor, you need... 5 identical items. You can then add up to 3 different items to act as modifiers. The Soul Key handles the heavy lifting. OK, that's easy enough."

"5 Huhh.. with the ones I got last time and these ones... I got 7 sso just use 5 of this plasticy stuff from the mannequins and 2 wings and one last plastic and Viola New Weapon?" Floyd says mostly to himself as he sets about the process

Well of course we were going to sell you stuff to. But while we are here lets kill two birds with one stone. Get materials to sell you and make better stuff so we can become even more efficient at gathering material.
Sam will then point left to where they are.
Lets try exploring that way. As long as no scary snake people aren't that way.

Floyd, Sam
Floyd puts a few items next to his soul key. They seem to be absorbed into the glowing object. A moment later, Floyd's sword disappears, then a new one reappears in his hands. It appears to be made out of rubber, though a touch is enough to tell it's still razor-sharp. The handle is in the shape of a pair of wings.
Floyd gained Plastic Sword (Physical Attack +5, Elec Attack +5, Poison Attack +5, Wind Attack +4, Earth Attack +4, Hit +2, Fire Attack -10)
"That was should be fine," Mareena says. She leads the way with Floyd and Sam following after her. It's not a long walk before Mareena notices another group of monsters. She whistles, then kicks a small stone in their direction.
The monsters attack without hesitation. Another bat, another two mannequins, and something the others haven't seen. It appears to be a cloud of floating, green scraps of paper. The scraps look vaguely similar to money, but with wildly different designs. The cloud seems to move forward with one mind.

Sam, Floyd
Sam and Floyd both summon poofy clouds to fight the enemies, which also includes a cloud. Of money.
Trippy.
Meanwhile, Mareena leaps into the heart of the enemies and starts to flail wildly. She strikes the mannequins several times each and the bat once. The monsters respond by turning and attacking her several times. The mannequins both slash her once, and the bat latches onto her neck. The cloud seems to think they have the Mareena situation well in hand and moves to attack Floyd instead. It spews a stream of coins straight at his face like a burst from a shotgun. It hits him hard enough to knock him back, even if it doesn't hurt that much.
Rain falls and damages all of the enemies a bit. The money-cloud looks a bit soggy. The bat, freshly recovered from drinking Mareena's blood, seems to be hurt by some kind of poison, as does one of the mannequins. The poisoned mannequin seems badly damaged.

Sam, Floyd
Sam leaps at the mannequin with his sword, slashing it in half. The two sides thud to the floor and remain motionless.
Sam pulls out a stick with a star on the end, holds it behind her back for a moment, then swings it. A glowing star slings from the end and thuds into the bat. The bat goes arcing down to the ground. The bat leaps back up, diving at Sam. It thuds hard into her head, then drops dead from the poison.
The other mannequin slashes Mareena's stomach, leaving a wide cut. The cloud of money swarms over her, striking her over and over. She manages to break free, covered in several papercuts. Mareena flashes, and a glowing golden fire washes over her skin. All those new injuries vanish. She puts one hand on her hip and waves the other dismissively.
Rain continues to fall, injuring the cloud and mannequin.

Sam and Floyd move to opposite sides of the cloud of money and unleash an attack at the same time. Sam fires a stream of water, while Floyd unleashes a wave of icy mist. The money gets all soggy and starts clumping together, then solidifies and crashes down onto the ground. It stops moving.
The mannequin and Mareena are busy dueling. It stabs her in the stomach. Mareena responds by twirling wildly, striking the thing several times. As rain begins to fall, the monster falls over.
Obtained Leathery Wing x1!

Obtained Hard Cash x1!
"Whew! This is... interesting," Mareena says. "I don't know about you, but I'm having fun. But I'm a bit tired. think it would be a good time to call it a day. Unless you all think we should keep going?"
