Mareena shrugs. "Have it your way, I suppose." She puts two fingers in her mouth and whistles loudly.
A pair of bats drop down from the darkness far above you, swooping down in an attack formation. At the same time, two mannequins leap through a window of a shop nearby and begin running at you.
"This seems like a good warm-up, hm?"

Floyd jumps back surprised drawing his weapon as he looks over the monsters "Did you jus... never mind yeah this should work you want the bats or the Mannequins Sam?" Floyd asks determination setting into his voice

Sam seems to be very impressed with what Mereena did. "Your the greatest, I hope to be as great as you one day," Sam stares at her with admiration.
Sam will then address Floyd
Oh how about both I got this handy new skill that might help.

Mareena and Her Lackeys

Sam points up and a cloud forms above everyone. Rain starts to pour down, battering the enemies. Meanwhile, Floyd unleashes a gust of wind that knocks back all enemies.
The two bats dive down. One crashes into Sam, and the other bops Floyd. They don't seem too strong, but it still hurts.
Mareena prances towards the approaching mannequins before beginning to gyrate and flail wildly between them. The monsters slash at her repeatedly, but she doesn't break from her dancing routine as they start to be rocked by explosions of light. When she finishes, you notice that she has a few scratches on her exposed skin - though she never slowed down or even reacted to the pain.

Sam notices another new move she has.
"No way it can't be that move,".
Sam will use Star Rod and she will aim it at the bat.
Sam will will give a hearty Poyo as is tradition while wielding such a divine and revered weapon. Plus she remembered this adorable Pink creature that said it after using it.

Sam destroys one bat with a star, while Floyd drops the other with a burst of freezing wind. Mareena dodges out of the way of one mannequin's swipe, then calls to Floyd. "Two steps left, please..."
As Floyd steps to the side, the mannequin lunges and stabs hard at where he had been a moment before.

Floyd chuckles nervously as the blow narrowly misses "Guess it pays to have a fortune teller on the team huhh.." He comments using Fear Tactics on the Mannequin

Floyd starts to whisper a bunch of secrets at one of the mannequins. It starts to twitch a bit, then leaps and slashes Floyd. Sam tosses another star at the other mannequin as it jumps into the middle and begins spinning rapidly, slashing Floyd, Sam, and Mareena. Mareena's starting to look a bit damaged, but starts to repeat that dance she was doing earlier, striking both of the mannequins repeatedly until they both collapse.
"Whew! That was... interesting," Mareena says as they collapse. "I think I have a new appreciation for all the materials people bring me."

While you watch, the cuts on Mareena's skin start to stitch themselves shut. "Interesting," she says. "Looks like the key doesn't just repair armor. At least your armor leaves you this... exposed." She grins and gestures at herself. "Not that I'm bashful about it. Now, then! Should we go looking for more of them?"

"This was Sam's idea I'll let her decide how long we go" Floyd answers as he looks over his materials he realizes something and turns to Marrena "How many pieces do we need to make our gear? I uhhh am not sure how this actually works" he admits
