And yet, I don't give a damn about the Verse people or have any connection to them. </3 Sorry, but its like a whole separate thing there. I don't really feel like I would do tremendously well there since I don't really know anyone over there that isn't here, and the few times I've considered joining I've felt like everyone was too busy to accept a pitch.

The scenario of multiple GMs accidentally updating the same thing at once is never gonna happen. We're NEVER all online at the same time. It'll happen maybe one time and all we do is delete the second post.
I also think, at some point, it should be clearly established who'll be part of the GM team for this game. As neat as this is, I'm sure not every staff member is gonna want to dedicate time to an all new game that isn't even their own creation. On the other hand, maybe some non-staff would be willing to lend a hand to updating this game. For example, me. I'm very interested in being able to update a game when I don't have any of my own currently running.
I'm vouching for skill trees. Most interested in that system.

Classy. If I get banned, I guess I'll have to finish my story and make future stuff on Verse after all. I don't think this site can really afford to lose content, though.

I originally planned to simply leave and never return when I retired from my spot as head admin, but I chose to stick around just because I like Vitcon games. The fact I put any effort in is already a bonus and I owe nothing to you. I'm here because I chose to be and I can choose to leave if it pleases me. Nah, that wasn't all directed at you, Punk, more the spectators trying to hype this up for some reason. I think Just is being too harsh in his demeanor here, but I also think Punk saying Just and, effectively, everyone here isn't putting in enough effort is semi-rude. I can generally understand where Punk is coming from, but you can't say we're being lazy when we're all pursing somewhat different experiences on this forum. Also, uh, jumping straight to the ban hammer isn't cool either, Just. Banning shouldn't be used as such a light term, even if not a permaban.

Getting back to the original topic, I'd like to know what everyone else is thinking for skill systems. I'm probably wrong, but I don't think we've done skill trees many times before in other Vitcon games. We've done job systems a lot before though, which are sorta similar? I'm just looking for something new with skill systems, essentially.

We've definitely done a lot of class systems, that's for sure. We've also done a lot of custom skills, but that's hard with this kind of system. Buuuut you want new stuff anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter. So let's see...skill trees. How do you wanna split these up? Skill types, party roles, expand off a specific skill, etc...?
