Floyd, Leia
Leia feels relatively OK with the heat once she changes armor, but Floyd feels exhausted already. Somnis and Buttons swap armor, take a moment, and seem to settle with the heat.
"C'mon, let's get going. I see some fire bat things over there." Buttons points up the path.
You make your way up the trail over the bubbling, flowing magma and into a small cave tucked into the wall. "At least we don't have to worry about falling off!" Somnis says.
Three bats drop off the ceiling, then burst into flame.

Leia uses
Ghosty Goo: Leia summons a ghost that is slimy from crying too much. The ghost crashes into an enemy, causing Water Damage and inflicting Fear.

Floyd, Leia
Somnis flaps her cloak and disappears into thin air as it settles.
"Just ditching us again? Typical," Buttons mutters. He lets a spirit out of his lantern and it drifts over to Leia, floating around her shoulder. She feels a bit stronger.
Floyd drops a set of explosives that flash brightly. The bats don't seem to care much.
Leia lets out a ghost that crashes into one of the bats. The bat shudders and falls to the ground before popping back up and spitting a ball of fire at Leia. It bounces off with only a bit of pain.
Another bat dives at Buttons and starts ripping at him with its claws. Buttons flails around, yelling angrily. The last bat opens its mouth and lets out a loud shriek. Everyone's ears begin ringing and they find themselves Deafened. Buttons is clearly trying to yell something, but no sound gets through.

"Are you okay Buttons?"
Smiling Shrine on Buttons.
Smiling Shrine: Summons a giant grinning sentient shrine in front of an ally, which will block every attacks for that ally. Stays active until it got hit 3 times. Launches debris towards the attacker everytime it's attacked, which causes heavy dark damage.

Leia, Floyd
Somnis reappears behind the screaming bat and stabs it with her knife. It falls out of the sky before flapping back up and biting her. She tosses it off and shuffles back.
Leia drops a shrine in front of Buttons and calls out to him. "WHAT?" he shouts back. At least that's what you think he said. It's impossible to hear anything.
Buttons brings his shovel around at the bat swarming him and bashes it in the head. It floats in place, dazed, while Floyd covers it in snow. It slows to a stop, falls, and shatters.
The remaining bat spits a ball of fire at Floyd. It does noticeable damage as he's forced to put out the fire. His key seems to be repairing injuries more slowly.

Leia will give a Little Grey to Floyd.
Little Grey: Summon a Little Grey to counter when a target ally is damaged.

The two of you take defensive stances and concentrate on healing and defending Floyd. A small alien appears and takes a shot at one of the bats as it slams into him. The bat seems injured, but so does Floyd as his key starts letting out a whine.
The rain helps soothe the pain but it seems less effective than usual.
Buttons holds up his lantern and lets a ghostly wind blow. Both of the bats shudder.
Somnis throws a dagger at the rear bat as it starts to take a breath. It turns its attention from Floyd to her, shooting a fireball at her instead. She spins out of the way, dropping back into a fighting stance.

Leia drops a large boulder on one of the bats. As the rock slams into it, the bat disappears into a small crater.
Floyd fires a spew of dirt at the last bat. It shoots a ball of fire back and misses. Somnis appears behind the bat and shanks it. "Got it!" she yells as it falls over.
Obtained Leathery Wing x2, Flame Gem x3
Somnis takes on of the Flame Gems and bounces it in her hand. "Hmmmmm? Yep! This'll work. If we use this as an armor modifier thingy it should be plenty to deal with that stupid cold. Or we could go find some more and make armor completely out of them and then be so, so warm forever."

Floyd nods "For sure I mean we need to get enough for Tod and Wolfman to get through as well at the very least" He wipes some sweat from his row "I'm sure the heat will stop being so oppressively once we have the right gear anyways"
