"OK, but let's be careful to not push too hard," Somnis says. "Your key looks like it's having trouble in the heat."
You go looking for more monsters, and find a group of flaming lizards sitting on a rock next to the bubbling magma where the path comes to an end.
"Those look good," Buttons says. "Let's take them out."
"Hm... Well, they look like they like the heat, so I guess they'd make warm clothes?" Somnis says. She readies her knife.

Leia will use Alien Abduction on Flloyd.
Alien Abduction: A UFO comes from the sky and abducts an ally. It transforms that ally's attack into an AOE on the next turn and the UFO will take the damage for the ally until it's destroyed. Leia can use it on herself. When an enemy attacks the UFO, it reveals a weakness and a resistance.
"On no. I said Bu... YOUR NAME OUT LOUD! AAAAAAAHHHH!!! I'M SO BAD AT THE SECRET IDENTITY THING!"

Floyd is distracted thinking to himself "Well may- Ohhh wooah" His thought is interrupted as he's pulled into the UFO "OK Change of Plans and umm don't worry about it Person I don't think anyone heard you"

"It's fine, just get used to doing it for when those weird robot-people are around," Somnis says. She throws down a smoke grenade and disappears.
Floyd fires off a stream of cold snow at one of the lizards. It hisses at him, jumps, and bites the UFO as it pulls Floyd away. Two of the other lizards both hiss at Leia and start crawling forward. One bites her ankle while the other leaps up and snaps on her elbow, its fang erupting into flame.
The last of the lizards does a small roar, and an army of tiny lizards come crawling out. They charge over everyone - except Floyd - and nibble away.

Door Frame: Some random door frame appears in front of the enemy. Since it has to pass the door frame to do any physical attacks, the enemy's speed and strenght are lowered a little. [Kiran 2]

Somnis reappears on top of the large lizard as it tries to force its way through a sudden doorway. She pulls out a dagger and stabs it in the back.
Dozens of rats come crawling from nowhere and swarm around the lizards. A full-scale war erupts between the furries and the scalies.
The largest of the lizards finally forces its way through and leaps at Leia, biting her on the flank and refusing to let go. The bite seems to be a lot more painful than usual, even through her armor, and Leia's key begins humming quietly.
Buttons raises his lantern and releases a spirit that flows into Leia. Her pain quickly subsides.

Suddenly panicking at a lizard having hooked itself to her with a bite, Leia screams as loud as she can at it, out of fear.
Panic Scream: Leia starts screaming in panic so hard, that she sends a sonic shockwave at a single enemy, but inflicts Silence on herself. [Jimmy 2]

Buttons charges and tries to bash the lizard on Leia, but trying to avoid hitting her causes him to miss his swing. Leia shouts at the lizard until it lets go, flying off into the air with the flock of lizards and swarm of rats as a tornado forms and swirls around the battlefield. Somnis tosses some knives up at the mass, and the writhing wall of rats finish off the remaining small lizards.
The giant lizard begins to swell and then explodes, unleashing a wall of fire that destroys the rats and sends the UFO crashing into the ground. Leia, Buttons, and Somnis are left with their keys ringing softly as the battle ends.
Obtained Flame Gem x2, Heavy Scale x1, Fire Lizard Tooth x1
"Ow." Buttons dusts himself off. "That should be enough fire stuff to solve whatever that cold problem was, anyway."
"Probably!" Somnis says. "Do we want to keep going or head back?"

"Yeah..." Buttons says. "Alright. I mean, this Hell is not even worthy of being my abode, thus I return to continue my long wandering."
Somnis nods. "Yes, that. OK!"
The portal is a short trip back, and you manage to avoid being ambushed by anything until you've stepped through, where you find a masked Mareena perched on a tree nearby. She hops down and prances over like it's not an extremely creepy thing to do. "Hey! Person. I was waiting for you. I need everyone's number. Everyone's. Also, you should all head home and lock your doors."

"Mmm. That's a more complicated question than you probably think. There's actually usually a few monsters somewhere, they just usually don't cause much trouble. But if you mean 'more than usual...' still complicated! Sorta. Not-monsters. Also, soon. Yep, soon. More monsters should arrive. Soon. Speaking of which, you should get away from that portal. Don't even bother trying to fight off all the monsters that are coming through. It'll just call more and you'll exhaust yourselves and not be ready later. We can deal with the real problem while the portals are closed."
While she talks, Mareena taps away at her phone.
You all get a text message. "Stay home and lock your doors tonight. Meet in the park at normal school time. Come transformed."
Mareena smiles at her phone and nods. "Anyway. You should all get home quick before the fog rolls in and things get really dangerous." Mareena takes out a small bag and produces five small umbrellas. She tosses one to each of you, then pops the last one herself. As she starts to walk away, the first few drops start to hit.
There was no rain in the forecast.

Floyd looks up into the sky confused before shaking his head and chasing after Mareena "Hey are you going to be safe...wherever it is you sleep. I mean if we've gotta lock our doors I don't think the beach or a tree is going to cut it"
