"You don't need to worry about something like that," Somnis says.
"Wait, don't I get a say in this?" Phenandran asks.
"Nope!" Somnis grabs him and starts shoving him towards the portal.
The sand starts shifting. Several goblins with bows pop out of the ground, pointing them at everyone. More appear at the top of the cliff, all trained on the party.
Phenandran raises his hand. "Hold! ...I'm going to be departing to provide aid to another region under attack by the angel. I expect things to still be in order when I return!"
As quickly as they appeared, the goblin archers are gone.
"Now, then. Shall we?"

Sand explodes as a giant spider erupts from underground with a loud shriek.
"Timetogo," Somnis says. She grabs you and pulls you through the portal.

You step through the portal and into the bright, sunny beach of the otherworld, with its blood-red sea and crystal-lined cliff face.
"Dude, who turned on the sun? Also, like, what? Holy shit. I don't remember taking anything tonight." He touches your face. "Are you really real...? Am I...?"
Grant walks through the portal behind you.
