You unleash a storm of rain. Warm rain. It doesn't seem like it's enough to overcome the waves of heat radiating from the ghost. It continues to pulse waves of flame. Club swings at it, and the club passes through it, though the ghost does shimmer at the impact. Katie starts ripping with her claws, getting a similar result. Farmer tries stabbing it, and the ghost solidifies for a moment. Her flower fires a seed pod, and the ghost bursts into ashes.

"We found Tempest, we're trying to get her now!" you hear Tai calling from further into the graveyard. "Just keep all these bastards off us!"
Which is weird for Tai to say, because you see Tai walking towards you, shimmering softly as he blends in to the fog. He raises his guns and takes aim at you as another pair of flaming zombies approach from the sides.

"Asmode- wait" Floyd starts to wave as Tai? Approaches but, as he notices his weapons drawn he mounts up and charges forward

You go charging and slam into Tai. He slides back, guns already raised to fire. Instead, he winks at Club.
Club pauses for a moment, then turns and smashes Farmer hard enough to send her flying through the air and into a nearby grave.
"GAH!" she yells. "What was- Hey, I'm talking to you!"
Club doesn't respond, moving oddly.
Katie growls and jumps at him, leaping onto his back and clawing at him. Farmer shakes herself off and tosses out some seeds.

"Stop, he's being controlled!" Farmer yells at Katie. She pauses in the middle of swinging at Club.
Tai punches the ground and an evil-looking circle appears around Katie. Snapping, coiling plants erupt from the ground and latch onto her. While she's distracted, Club winds back and swings at her. Katie does what she can to block it, but she's unable to move.
"That's my thing..." Farmer yells. The plants around her spring up and spit a cluster of pods at Tai, who rolls out of the way, just in time for Floyd to catch him with a wild dance, sending him sprawling backwards.

Katie tries to get away from Club, but the plants wrapped around her hold her in place. She puts her arms up and continues to fend off the oncoming smashes.
You shoot some sand at Tai. You notice some of it go straight through him, and you realize he's not entirely here. He seems like a ghost or something, as if he's made from the fog itself.
Tai swings around, letting his tail flail out. You manage to duck under it, while Farmer runs past you to stab him. You can see him starting to fade back into the fog.

As Club continues to smack Katie, they suddenly stop. They tilt their head slightly. "Uh. Why... am I hitting you? I thought we were working together today?"
"We are!" Katie snarls. "And you tell me!"
"Uh..." They seem to think for a moment. "Because I have a club and you were close by, I guess?"
"THAT'S NOT A GOOD REASON!" Katie yells.
"Sorry?"
Katie's key goes from humming quietly to silent as you unleash a rain on her, and the plants grabbing her seem more interested in the water and let her go. Katie's quick to run free before they can latch on again.
Farmer throws out another batch of seeds, while Tai swings his tail again, launching a lot of floating spheres that slowly drift through the area, pulsing and throbbing.
"Get ready to hit him as hard as you can!" Farmer yells at you. "With magic!"

Farmer hums to herself, and another seed bursts from the ground as a glowing, white flower. Floyd feels empowered as he unleashes a whirling tornado. It sucks up the orbs as it moves towards Tai. Tai snaps his fingers, and the orbs detonate. The winds buffer the blast, but the blast still hits hard enough to shove even Katie back. She snarls and leaps at Tai, slashing at him as he ducks out of the way, only to run into a large club swinging at his head.
"It's time to end this farce..." Farmer says.

You wind back a crossbow and load a bolt. It pulses between different colors for a moment before solidifying green. You fire it at Tai, watching as it corrects itself mid-flight to follow his evasion. Katie jumps at Tai and starts slashing before punching him back, where Club winds back like swinging at a baseball and smashes him.
Farmer's hoe transforms into a scythe, and she quickly slashes both of her plants. Her scythe glows bright for a moment as she raises it, slashing Tai with a large blast of magic.
Tai drops to one knee, breathing heavy. He punches the ground, and a sigil appears beneath him. Black runes start to rise up from the ground, snaking around him. He gets up, looking refreshed and glowing with a fresh, new, and demonic energy.

"What... How did he get back up from that?" Farmer asks. "Wait, something's wrong with him?"
"He's glowing!" Katie says.
"Besides that."
"He's kinda... misty looking?" Club suggests.
"Well, whatever! Just keep hitting him!" Farmer yells. She throws out some seeds.
"OK!" Katie agrees. She crouches down, transforming into a large praying mantis.
Vines sprout from the tip of Tai's gun as Floyd calls down rain. He swings them at Katie, who puts up her arm-scythes and slashes through them. "Ha! You call that an attack?" she taunts.
