You start trying to drag Katie off. She refuses to disengage from the floofiness, and you start dragging Justice's fox away, too. And... then you're literally dragging her limp form. She's fast asleep. "Mmm... Fluffy..." she murmurs.
"Is it naptime...? Can I sleep, too?" La Rena asks.

"I'm not doing it on purpose!" Inari protests. "It's people's fault for not being able to see through low-tier illusions! And for randomly grabbing total strangers! Who does that!?" He struggles to try to pull himself free of Katie's iron hug. "...Can I get a little help?"
Ranulf jolts when you poke him. "Ack! Haha, hey. What was that for? And I have no idea what you're talking about. Why would I know anything about a key?"

You steal Katie's ability. 'Werewolf?' Sounds bad-ass. You also adjust her loyalty. Yes, another excellent addition to your roster.
You disengage the Inari.
Katie wakes up when you finish editing her. She stretches. Then wags her hips at you. As if she were wagging a non-existent tail. "Hi, master! Are we going on a walk!?"
Great. The editing seems to have had an unexpected effect. Now you need to pick between this dog-brain or La Rena.
...Also I forgot where you were going and I'm too lazy to check...

"OK. Er... Where are we looking?" Ranulf asks.
'Inari' changes back into his true, kitsune form. His spiky armor is now very clearly clear. He grabs his bag from next to the cage and pulls out a few vials of colorful liquids. "Let's see... Lethal or non-lethal... Hm..."

"Bye, Somnis!" she says. "I'm gonna miss the cuties here, but Master wants to go, so... Bye!"

...You leave before the two can get sucked into a loop.
You head into the parking lot. It stretches as far as you can see. Other than a portal showing a picture of a mall, you can't see anything of note.

"I don't know," Inari says. "I have absolutely no memory of ever seeing a key to the break room around here." He freezes, then touches his head. "Wait... No, I... remember... That thing your friend did to that hug-monster. I've seen someone doing that before. ...And she had a key... But she took it and left long before you ever showed up."

Edit the vial to be in the shape of the Break Room Key and edit it to open the Break Room Door when touching it.

Can and did! What would be the use of a puzzle or a scavenger hunt if you can just go to every world and cheat your way to the boss? At that point, why bother with any degree of level design? Just have every portal dump you in a series of boss rooms. Booooring.
