Morgan and clone both say in unison ready to go when you are everyone.
Chilly will see if there is anything that could be lurking in the shadows or Miasma.

You start heading back to the base. As you march, you suddenly hear something trotting your way through the woods. At a gallop. Everyone draws their weapon.
"Something's coming!" plant-girl says.
A giant deer leaps out of the mists at you!

Chilly drop those spiky ball things on it.
Clone Morgan Slash it with your sword
Real Morgan will use Tanooki leaf on her self.

Morgan
You start murdering the deer.
Kato the cat-o shoots it. The swordswoman calls another familiar, a penguin thing. It encases her in armor made out of ice. The dancer starts dancing and enters a counter-attack stance. Zyl just kind of... stands there...
Morgan attacks and Other Morgan turns into a tanuki.
King Boo drops some spikey balls. The deer weaves through them without difficulty as it bounces and kicks every party member in turn.
The swordswoman, cat, Clone Morgan, and Zyl all look confused...
The plant-dancer slashes the deer.
The deer is still relatively OK.

Clone Morgan will try to defend (or whatever happens her due to being confused)

Morgan uses Divine display of the cherry blossoms. She will then take her waves of blade petals and have them encircle the deer. Then clench her fist and have them slash at the deer at once.

Morgan hits the deer. A lot. It's injured, but keeps attacking, headbutting her.
The dancer casts a healing spell on Zyl and the swordswoman.
Everyone else goes berserk and starts whaling on each other. Fake-Morgan hits Morgan pretty hard. The others fight among each other.

Oh that's it. Morgan will go ahead and surround the deer again with the blades but this is where Chill King Boo can shine.
Chill King will use the power of illusion to trap the deer in a relaxing meadow with all of his friends and anything and everything it could want.
Afterwards form a s*** ton of blades with the petals and have them repeatedly stab that stupid deer.

You stagger through the portal onto a small island of land surrounded by a bog obscured by purple mists. A few dead trees and patches of ground dot the swamp, and a wall of dead trees boxes this into a room with two exists on opposite ends. The ground past them room looks
Natsumi is still unconscious and open to editing.
You can see a man in white-metal armor sitting on one of the islands. He's got spiky, ruddy hair and a fancy rapier. A black wolf-hound is asleep at his side. Neither of them seem to have noticed you.
Morgan
Morgan proceeds to murder the deer.
The deer collapses.
Everyone snaps out of their stupor and stops attacking each other.
The deer corpse starts to buzz and crackle as it warps and distorts.
It transforms into the corpse of a woman in her 30's, with a brown ponytail and a bright-blue dress. She's covered in slashes.
"What... happened?" the swordswoman asks.
Zyl looks... angry. "What... Morgan, what did you do!?"

"Alright, time to have some fun!" Kai smiles.
He kneels down and puts his hand on Natsumi's forehead. "Let's see... from now on, you'll agree with me on things, Natsumi. And you'll follow me. Not Tai, not anyone else. And when I say 'command', you'll do exactly what I say. Got it? We're gonna be best friends." Kai smiles, giving the ideas just enough push to really set in. Of course, it's not all that straining.

Wait why are you yelling at me we were being attacked and I was defending us?
Chill King Boo looks around and just sighs.
You could have warned me that this wasn't some random deer monster. Instead of fighting one another because of being confused by the deer monster you should have warned me dammit.
Hold on I have a healing move just give me a second. Use solar explosion. If this doesn't work I have an idea to keep her safe until we can get her to a place to be healed.
Chill King Boo will turn the woman into a painting to keep her safe until she can be saved but that's a last resort type thing.
(Crow I couldn't edit the deer as Morgan or as Chill King Boo. Only PCs have that ability so don't even try with the guilt trip by Zyl making it seem like I did something horrible because I was defending the party from what I assumed was a monster.)

Crow I couldn't edit the deer as Morgan or as Chill King Boo. Only PCs have that ability. These are true statements. And only PCs can identify Corrupted NPCs. Splitting up has advantages, but it has risks, too. |
