Floyd frowns a distant look on his face "I was never allowed near Gabriel for long mom said he was a delicate bird I just got to feed him when all the girls were out... I don't like disturbing the fish they've got their own problems going on" the glum look anishes and Floyd is smirking again "Which just means you've got little competition for the most huggable thing I can think of"

You're the first to arrive at the bus stop, but you don't have to wait long. As soon as the next bus that arrives, the doors open and Natsumi springs out to hug you. "Leia-person! You did good!"
Tai, Leia
Alice is the last to arrive, stepping off the bus still with a small limp. She looks around at the three of you, then scans the area. "The portal doesn't open far from here, I trust?"
Natsumi nods. "Are you sure you're OK to do this? Physically?"
"Don't worry. I'm still not fully recovered, but my soul key can make up the difference. What's the plan?"

"It'll be easier to understand if you see it for yourself." Natsumi shepherds Alice towards the portal.

Leia, Tai
Tai goes running through the portal first. He arrives just in time to see who he assumes is Mercia, though her form has changed slightly. Instead of her usual giant angelic form, she's the size of a normal human in a white dress. Instead of 6 wings, she only has two. Without spare wings, she's unable to cover her face; instead, a glowing halo obscures her features enough that you can't make out her face. She holds a small mace in her hand. "...How long since I've fought with a Soul Key..."
Leia, Natsumi, and Alice all arrive shortly after. Your Otherworld forms flicker for a moment, then stabilize. You feel a bit weaker than normal, but you think you can fight - for now at least.
You look around and find yourselves surrounded by trees. This place doesn't look familiar to any of you... but from the sight of the city below you in the distance, you can tell you're somewhere on the mountain just outside of town.
The leech stands defiantly in front of you, clacking its claw and brandishing its needle despite its lack of shell.
Mercia repositions herself. "If you're going to listen to anything I ever say, it's this. Stay between the leech and the city, and try to stay close together!"

Tai doesn't say anything this time. He gets near the portal and uses Dakr Lasso on the leech again, this time pulling with all his might, trying to stay grounded and keep it from going anywhere.
"Just fucking kill this thing..! I'll hold it down!"

Leia has a sudden realisation, which seemingly fills her with fear.
"I... I... I am not... a... a... an oracle... My... My drawing is not true...
I... I can't predict things... This isn't true..."
Leia puts a scroll on herself, a tear running down her face.
"He's... IT'S not going anywhere while I'm alive... Give it everything you've got, it's only going to have it's eye on me now..."
Leia will use Murder Scroll on herself

Tai wraps a lasso around the monster. Once again the crab staggers for a moment before absorbing the lasso. It turns to Tai, until Leia puts a scroll on herself. The crab stops and turns to her instead. It rushes at her with its needle.
"Stardust Barrier!" A twinkling, dark-blue sphere appears around Leia. The needle stabs through the wall and slows to a stop just short of Leia's chest. The barrier shatters and Mercia frowns. "Stop being so dramatic! Just fight smart, stay calm, and everything will be fine."
"Shut up," Alice says. She lunges in and stabs the crab in the back. "You're the last person I want to hear that sort of advice from."
"Yeah!" Natsumi says. Her cat spits a gust of wind from her shoulder. The small orb floats over to Alice and starts patching up her wounds. The ghost floating around Leia finishes healing her leg injury.
