Players can discuss Vitcards here. What rules should be changed, what cards should be added, etc.
So I think the first thing I'll ask is who wants their characters to be made into cards? I won't use characters that people don't want to be made into cards, but instead of having individual submissions, I'd rather you just say "Yes, you can use my characters as cards" or "No, you can't use my characters as cards."
Secondly, should we have deck types or should we make it so all cards can be used in all decks? In the case of deck types, we could implement the use of specific traits for each type to replace leader skills. My only concern is that if we make it so all cards can be used for all decks I might run out of ideas for what cards can do. But the issue with deck types is I don't know how I'd separate the cards. Alignment maybe? Good and evil? Or maybe something like knights and monsters? If you have any ideas, let me know.

Well we can always do it by humans, animals, monsters, Turtle Dragon hybrids.
Or what about genre? Or from game?
Genre can be another thing.
Like fantasy, sci fi, etc.

This isn't really a game where someone else controls my characters, so yes, every single one of them are available.

Oh and Just Yes all my verse and Vitcon characters can be cards.
Now for deck types. How about we hold off on that until we have all the cards. This way you have an idea of what your working with first.

This way you have an idea of what your working with first. I'd need to know if we have deck types first so I can work in those specific traits. But I could make basic cards that can be used by anyone. It probably wouldn't help decide though.

Is this the Superfight version of the deck building one?

This is the one where you make decks. Superfight wouldn't require deck types and stuff.

Well... We could go by... How could I say this...
Mascots? Each deck is built around a character which we could consider a Vitcon flagship. The rest of the cards are related to that character.
We could go woth users, but that doesn't make a lot of decks.
Alternatively we could make decks with themes. Pirates, Shield users, Pilots, riders, super strenght, etc.

Well when I say deck types I mean something more along a category that each card fits under. For example, Merchants are cards that are related to or are merchant characters and they have the trait of using and generating Coin cards. Then there's hero cards which are or relate to heroes in the games and focus on boosting each other and summoning weaker cards. Those are just some examples, but I think you get the point.
There's also always the option of not categorizing cards, if you guys don't want to do that.

Well certain decks can be themed around certain characters.
Like say a Bowser theme deck can be themed around Bowser summoning his minions to either negate attacks, bolster his stats, attack foes, etc.
A mario bros theme deck can be centered around Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, etc and items with different items creating or causing different forms for them.
Or we can do an overall Lost Kingdom theme and then have sub themes.
Like in the Lost Kingdom collection.
We have the legendary hero deck The dark lord deck Children of the summon (the children of the heros from the first game and there respective summons.) The Elemental guardians Mark's Ultimate deck of evil. The legendary non heros (all the heros who didn't become Legendary Heros)
Dating Sim deck
Otherworldly Heros the originals Otherworldly Heros the newbies
Guardians of the other worlds (each indivdual guardians along with all of there momsters that appear there. For some that have like two pr three more advanced forms of the monster)
Vitcorp Inc.
As for structure I think we should aim for more PTG style then Yu-Gi-Oh. We can have each card have an energy requirement and for cards like say Mario.
You can evolve Mario to Super Mario (with cards like Super Mushroom allowing you to search the deck for Super Mario) then to Fire Mario, etc.
Then each card have different HP and when a card is defeated you get a prize card.

There's obvious choices like categorizing by game or genre, but personally, I think it'd be more interesting to somehow categorize cards in a way that deviates characters/etc from their usual casts. So like, whether you categorize by game, genre, or character type (like Adventurer, Merchant, etc), in general, a lot of the Lost Kingdom cast will stay together. But instead, maybe we could categorize by personality or some other trait that allows for a more interesting mix. To throw out an idea, I think it'd be kinda cool to see cards assigned with something like an Arcana, so that we can feasibly see a mix of various different games in one single deck.
Ultimately I don't super think we need to categorize if we can't, but that's just me. I'm cool with whatever
