A pair of unlit torches clatter to the ground in front of X and Malefio. Nyl closes her bag and goes back to cooing at the giant salamonsters.

Lagos gives him a confused look. "Can we get going?"
Nyl pets the salamander-beast's neck. "Good boy, good boy..." It seems annoyed that she's touching it, but doesn't attack.

Okay. Hey Nyl you seem to get along with it maybe you can convince it to help us in our adventure into the caves.
Bowser just huffs because no one understands his awesome poses.

There's only one other tunnel, not counting the entrance you came down. It looks like it heads deeper.
"Alright, let's go." Lagos starts walking off without X and his group.
X
"You want to come with us, hm?" Nyl asks the creature. It snaps at her. "Aw, come on now. Don't be so fussy."
Lagos starts leaving without you.

Nyl gives you a sideways glance. "You want me to hurt this precious baby? Hmph." The other two creatures seem to have taken notice of the goings-ons and are staring at you instead of eating crystals. "I don't think that's a good idea, besides."

You follow Lagos and notice Bowswer following behind you. You find another small chamber just a short walk past the first.
A woman in a white gi with red hair in a ponytail is standing alone in here, looking unsure what to do. She turns as you walk in. "Are you here about my request?"

No not harm more like make go to sleep. Nevermind lets go before it gets worse. X leaves with Nyl and catches up with Bowser and Mally.

Nyl follows after you. She lags behind a bit as she pulls out a scrap of paper and makes some notes, then runs to catch up.

"Oh, no! I'm Jessica! Hilda's the one I need you to find," the woman explains. "She's my baby hydra. Such a cuty-wuty little baby, too. But my adorable sweet baby hydra just started going crazy one day and ran deeper into the maze! And I could never hurt my schnookums. So I need you to capture her. Without hurting her. Or I'll be very, very upset."

"Yeah, pretty much. You'll have to find her. I don't really know where she went, but she shouldn't be hard to find. She's making a lot of noise now. And picking a lot of fights. Mama's sweet baby hydra's become a troublemaker...!" Jessica sniffles. "I don't know how to lure her anymore. Normally I'd just call to her, but she's so different now."
