Jessica stares at Slimex. "Don't. Hurt. Her."
She turns back to the others, then looks between the three tunnels leading out of the room. "She went down that tunnel, but that was a while ago. Um... Physical changes? I guess she looked a bit bigger?"

Slimex: "Indeed."
Slimex goes to the tunnel Jessica pointed at, then leads the group using his tracking skills.

X then follows Slimex and Mally.
Bowser
Bowser looks at Jess and for some reason has sort of nostalgic feelings like he met her before. (Bawkser reference from LK1)
Bowser then shrugs and lumbers towards X and everyone else.

You head into the cave Jess pointed out. It's not hard to follow the trail, even in the torchlight. The creature left a slimy trail. It's cooled and congealed by this point, but it's still easily visible.
You follow it into the next chamber. You signs of a battle here... including several bones and one of those salamanders... dead and half-eaten.
Lagos shrugs it off. Nyl looks uncomfortable.
The slime trail proceeds into another chamber.

Malefio: "Well... For a dungeon, there's a severe lak of hostiles... I guess Hilda got all the fun."

Wait when did Hilda get so violent.
Sure she maybe would maybe hiss if Jess got hurt. But umm definitely not this.
"We have to be careful guys," X warns them while following Slime and Mally.
Bowser looks unimpressed by the collection of bones.
"Boring, so there's some dry bones big deal," Bowser says walking with the group.

You continue following the trail of destruction.
Through another narrow tunnel, then into another small chamber with a few exits. This one has a pair of those glowing crystals in the center, and another 3 dead lizards in it... but also a pair of living ones. They hiss at you and begin advancing aggressively as you enter the room.
The slime trail heads through a door on the far left side of the chamber.

I prefer to try and end this peacefully. Unfortunately, I don't speak lizard and they seem to be pissed that Hilda attacked them and killed some of there friends.
X notices his battle date simulator. Oh right we got this thing.
X will have Bowser go on a battle date with the lizard.

Malefio will whisper something to Slimex, then put his plan into motion. While X uses the battle date simulator, Malefio will use his Smorg arm around Slimex, in combo with his ice magic to give him the shape of the lizards. Slimex will immitate the lizard's sounds, trying to intimidate it so it backs off.

I thought it had unlimited uses? Or is it only one time use? I never had to recharge it before.
But ask Kitty to be sure since I think it doesn't need to be recharged.

It either needs to not be re-usable or not work on bosses... OK, it doesn't work on boss-level enemies.
Mal
You turn Slimex into a pseudo-lizard with Smorgs. He starts growling and the lizard seems surprised. It takes a few paces back and starts hissing louder, then turns and walks away into a different chamber, avoiding Hilda's trail.
Lagos lowers his sword as it goes away. He seems a bit disappointed. Nyl leans against the wall and smirks at you.
X
You embrace your scalie side and decide to try to bang the other lizard.

Hum... Actually, those lizards are pretty big... Even with an abnormal growth, I don't think Hilda would be bigger than them...
Which means she's agressive to the point of not being scared of them...
Which means... If we signal our presence, we might be able to lure her...
Or something else, but is that a risk we're willing to take?
We could make as much noises as possible to lure her here while X finishes his battle date.
Alternatively, since Hilda is her full name, Slimex could send her a telepathic message right now, describing the room we're in... Maybe that would lure her too. I know she understands our language, so that could work.
