THE DEED IS DONE
Riki Moveset
Note: The Biter is Riki’s main weapon.
Neutral Special: Freezinate- Riki charges up saliva in his mouth, then spits out a ball of ice. Fires straight and homes in on an opponent. If shielded, it still freezes the opponent. 8% no charge, 17% full charge
Side Special: Sneaky- Riki curls up in a ball and launches himself forwards, travelling fairly quickly in a slight arc. Can be used for horizontal recovery. Deals triple damage from behind. 10% from the front, 30% from behind
Up Special: Nopon Mount- A Makna Ansel flies in as Riki mounts its back. Riki has full flight control in any direction, but the Makna Ansel can be defeated if it takes too much damage and has no damage capabilities itself asides from ramming into opponents for 7%.
Down Special: Riki is Angry- Riki gets angry and stiffens his body. When using this move, if Riki receives damage, he’ll counterattack and won’t be launched, but will still receive the damage. His counterattacks won’t cause the opponents to be launched or flinch either. While both Riki and the opponent receive damage, it benefits Riki more due to Riki’s 2x damage multiplier. If the opponent is receiving damage from Riki’s counter, they will usually want to stop attacking. Riki also has a VERY rare chance of counterattacking with a 4x or 8x damage boost.
Final Smash: SUPER Yoink!- Riki snatches at opponents ahead of himself, appearing to steal both multiple auras of Ether and money. Riki will heal himself to the sum of all the opponents’ percentages combined, and will double the opponents’ percentage as well. For example, an opponent with 50% hit by this will heal Riki by 50% and will now have 100% themselves. In addition, Riki will also Yoink the opponents’ stats. All of Riki’s stats will now have a 2x multiplier, and the opponents will have a 0.5x multiplier on all their stats as well. This lasts for 20 seconds, but the percentages remains the same.
Jab Combo: Heropon Pummel- Riki swings his biter to the left, then to the right, then ends with an upwards swing. 2%, 2%, 4%
Dash Attack: Biter Blurry- Riki wildly swings his Biter around as he runs forwards with his eyes closed. 2% each hit for 5 hits
F Tilt: Peekaboo- Riki swings his Biter at a ludicrous angle. 7%, spins opponents around.
Up Tilt: Heropon Punch- Riki punches upwards with his tiny hand. 4%, combos into itself at lower percentages
D Tilt: Roly Poly- Riki throws Ether with his Biter towards the ground. 5%, 30% chance of causing opponents to trip

DSmash: Burninate- Riki spins around in a circle and breathes fire breath. 16% no charge, 27% full charge
Neutral Aerial: Nopon Spin- Riki spins around vertically as he holds his Biter forwards, causing it to damage opponents all around himself. 9%

Series Icon: The Monado, same as Shulk
Unlock Method: Use 500 items.
Unlock Message: Riki, the legendary Heropon, joins the battle!
Description: Riki plays as a very combo heavy character. While Riki can use Freezinate to camp opponents out, he really plays at his best when at mid to close range. The Biter he uses gives Riki the ability to deal damage while not being right next to opponents himself, similar to most swordusers in Smash. All of Riki’s attacks are fast and have low landing lag, so mixing up his approaches and combos with both tilts, jabs, and aerials is a must when mastering Riki.

Behave- Riki spits out a ball of golden Ether. Similar to Flying Burninate, but only hits once and can be shielded. Stuns opponents when hit. 4% no charge, 20% full charge
Bitey Bitey- Riki travels slower and a shorter distance, but he bites the opponent twice for more damage. 12%, 14%. If Riki lands the attack from behind, the opponent will continue to take damage (6% for every second) as they’re launched until they somehow exit the tumbling state.
Say Sorry- Riki travels farther and faster. Deals 12%. If the opponent is suffering some sort of status (Spicy Curry, Metal, Flower, Stat Boost/Downgrade, etc.), Say Sorry will remove all statuses while dealing an additional 15% for each status.
Armored Nopon Mount- The Makna Ansel that Riki rides will now sport armor. This makes the Makna Ansel and Riki invincible, but the distance and speed of the recovery is reduced. Damage remains the same.
Wild Nopon Mount- The Makna Ansel appears enraged. The distance and speed it can travel is greatly increased, and ramming into opponents now deals 16%, but being hit once by anything will cause the Makna Ansel to be defeated and leave Riki helpless.
Play Dead- When Riki is attacked, he’ll be knocked down no matter what. However, Riki won’t take damage, and when Riki gets up, he’ll recover health equal to the move’s intended damage with a 1.4x multiplier. Also, Riki will receive a 1.3x damage multiplier on his next move ONLY.
Hero Time- Functions like a typical counter. Riki won’t take damage, and his counterattack will launch opponents away with a 1.4x damage and knockback multiplier.

3- Riki performs his signature dance as three of his children run around him in a circle.
Defeated Animation: Riki claps with a smug look on his face.
Snake Codec Call: Mei Ling- Snake, if you say anything about eating this cute creature…
Snake- You know me too well, Mei Ling. Who’s this furball anyways?
M- That’s Riki, a Nopon from the Bionis. He’s been selected as this year’s legendary Heropon, meant to protect the Frontier Village.
S- Nothing legendary about this guy…
M- Actually, he ventured with Shulk and his friends across the Bionis and the Mechonis, all to pay off his family’s massive debts. Isn’t that heroic of him?
S- Intel says that he was practically forced to.
M- Ohh… Well, Riki’s still a winner in my book. I mean, he’s got an adorable family! A-Anyways, Riki will use a variety of strange attacks on you, from biting to spitting. Stay alert, Snake.
S- Sounds fun...
Palutena’s Guidance: Pit- Everyone, hero time!
Palutena- You know your Xenoblade, Pit! That’s indeed Riki, the legendary Heropon.
Pit- He’s pretty huggable. Almost makes me feel bad for fighting him… Well, almost…
Palutena- If you’ve defeated things like Souffles before, I don’t think you have any sense of morality left in you.
Pit- W-W-Well, they dropped lots of hearts! ...Can you just tell me how to beat Riki?
Palutena- Riki has a lot of options in his arsenal. He can wait you out with Freezinate, or he can approach you in an instant with Sneaky. His Biter weapon is both fast and powerful, so stay sharp.
Pit- He’s also pretty tiny and fast. It’s gonna be tough to track him down…
Palutena- That only makes it more fun, doesn’t it? Well, more fun for me to watch, anyway.
Kirby Hat: Riki’s hair puff.
Item for them: Tatsu- The Nopon Tatsu from Xenoblade Chronicles X appears as a throwing item. When thrown, Tatsu won’t travel very far, but will pull his backpack off and aim it forwards at opponents as a ram, dealing fairly high damage and knockback.
(Tatsu can be seen here:
xenobladex.jp/special/images/img_sp-welcome08-05.jpg )
Stage for them: Frontier Village
Stage music: Frontier Village (Day and Night versions), Riki’s Tenderness
Enemy for them: Orluga
Boss for them: Telethia
Assist Trophy: Melia- When Melia’s active, she’ll run around and summon Elementals, balls of energy based around a certain element. If the summoner is near Melia when she summons or has an Elemental active, they’ll receive a stat boost corresponding to the Elemental.
Flare- Damage dealt increases
Bolt- Knockback dealt increases
Aqua- Heals summoner 10% immediately once
Wind- Speed and jump height increase
Earth- Damage received decreases
Ice- Knockback received decreases
The stat boosts can stack with each other. Melia can also fire the Elementals at an enemy as a projectile, dealing large amounts of damage and knockback.
Event Match for them: Father’s Day
“Father’s Day is approaching, but the parents only want KOs for presents!”
Free for All match on Frontier Village. Co-op. Players both play as Riki (one uses the Oka costume) against Male and Female Robin, Marth, Rosalina, Bowser, and Olimar.
Adventure Stage: Makna Forest
Newcomer Video/Reveal Trailer: Shulk uses his Chain Attack to defeat some opponents, then is hit from behind by a Mii Swordfighter in the Dunban outfit, who is also then hit from behind by Riki. Riki’s newcomer tagline is “Riki Yoinks a Spot!”
Trophy: Oka- While Oka seems like the adorable wifeypon of Riki at first glance, she actually holds quite the temper. Her family of 11 (and counting!) hungry littlepon and the hungry daddypon they take after quite literally eat through the family’s money, causing them to have a low standard of living due to Riki’s MASSIVE debts. She can easily get frustrated and complain about her lazy husband and their eventual divorce, but she does truly care for her family. And marrying Riki has to mean something, right?! In Smash Bros, Oka appears both in Smash Tour and as an alternate costume for Riki.
38.media.tumblr.com/ee4f32a77ab220719831d1b69ee4c7d4/tumblr_nie6kg7Otn1u8wch3o1_500.gif Smash Tour Version- Red- Forces the battle to become a 1 minute Coin Smash.
Smash Tour Hazard- An Orluga has appeared on the board! If you run into it, one of your fighters will be removed from your inventory as they are forced to fight the Orluga, but they can be regained after one turn when the Orluga is defeated, along with a trophy. But anyone can pick up the spoils!
Sticker- Riki Is Angry! Small size, increases the damage boost earned from Rage by 1.2x.
