Parakarry comes flying in with a letter that has the official TSC seal on it. It must be important...
Parakarry: Hey, Mario. We got a letter from the TSC committee.
Paper Mario: !
Parakarry: Here, take a look.
Paper Mario carefully opens the letter, reading it to himself. Then at a certain point he's very surprised. Paper Mario puts the letter away and nods. He then walks into the off limits room, walking back out while carrying a few trophies that were inside. One is a blue man, another is an owl, and the last is a GameCube controller. He places them up on the counter. Paper Mario then takes out his Mailbox SP and begins to use it. Parakarry flies back out to get a few things. It seems something important is going to happen soon.

Parakarry flies in with multiple packages. He takes a majority of them to the back room behind the counter. Parakarry takes off the sign on the off limits room and it's now just a room. Parakarry also dumps out a bunch of mechanical parts from a large package. As all this happens, some new people show up at the door! Paper Yoshi, Madame Flurrie, and Goombella all enter.
Madame Flurrie: Oh my! This is a rather nice vacation place, isn't it? But it isn't like most casinos. Where are the other floors?
Parakarry: We didn't have enough funds to get a bigger building, but don't worry, there's a plan for that.
Paper Yoshi: Alright! When's the fighting gonna start!?
Parakarry: Not yet, we need to work on a few things first.
Paper Yoshi: Darn!
Goombella: Is this the machine you wanted help putting together?
Parakarry: Yup, it just came in the mail.
Goombella: Looks pretty advanced, but maybe I can help make it.
With the sudden rush of new people, the place seems busy. Goombella gets to work on the machine with Paper Mario and Madame Flurrie floats behind the counter to talk to people. Paper Yoshi heads on into the back room. Parakarry flies over to Awkward though.
Parakarry: Hey there! You've collected quite the amount of trophies, haven't you? I'd like to talk to you in the back room. Come see me when you're ready. You won't be able to do movesets for a little while while we're there, but it shouldn't take too long.

Parakarry: Alright. Let's go. Paper Mario!
Paper Mario: !
The two lead Awkward to the back room, revealing a large battle arena. It's like a Pokemon Gym in here! Paper Mario runs to one end and waves. Parakarry takes you over to the other side.
Parakarry: We want you to test out our battle system! You use your trophies to fight!
Paper Yoshi comes running in with a small, handheld machine, pushing a button. It creates a strange, blue light that pulses through the room.
Parakarry: There, that should stabilize the trophies for battle so nobody will get hurt and they won't destroy the building. Now, prepare your trophies!
TSC Vacation Island is now testing out its battle system! It's pretty basic. Your character will have a turn based type input with HP bars, similar to Virtual Tower. Try it out! Your character and their trophies can battle, but the trophies can only use moves in their moveset or basic actions. Go ahead and summon a trophy to battle Paper Mario! Paper Mario has summoned Safety Guy! The blue figure of a man stands ready to fight!

Parakarry nods. As you hold out the trophy it takes form into Boney in your own arms as it grows. The trophy becomes Boney entirely as you hold the dog! Whoa! It's like he just jumped right out of a game and into your arms! He kept the golden scarf too...maybe there's something special about golden trophy characters.
(Golden and Final Trophies start off with a fully charged Final Smash! Normally the smash gauge needs to fill, but your awesome movesets allow you to start with one. After your first use you have to charge up though!)
Boney: 100 HP 20/20 Smash
Safety Guy: 40 HP 0/20 Smash

"Okay... Well, let's do this, Boney! Run up to the Safety Guy and use your Final Smash! Make sure that Flint can land the first hit!"

Boney runs forward, activating the Final Smash as he barks. Flint appears, hitting Safety Guy with Lighter's Timber. Kumatora then appears with Duster and the four begin to attack Safety Guy with Flint finishing up the series of attacks with a powerful swing. Safety Guy is launched backward into the wall as the three party members teleport away. Safety Guy comes running back to fight in place.
