Salsa appears and smashes Boney into Safety Guy, knocking Safety Guy up in the air. Boney then lands on the ground.

Oh boyyyyyyyyyy DI stands for Directional Influence, which is when you're in midair or being launched and you control the character's midair movement. Not to be confused with D1.  |

Boney runs under Safety Guy and Prepares the Canine Weapon, but as he attacks, Safety Guy spins around and dodges the attack, landing on the ground.

Boney uses short hops and makes sure to space himself from any physical attacks and throws a few doorknobs at Safety Guy. Safety Guy stands in place and tosses Wii Remotes at Boney and the two cancel each other out.

Boney begins to approach Safety Guy, ready to shield. He isn't attacked as Safety Guy waits though. Once Boney is close enough, he jumps forward to grab Safety Guy as he quickly sidesteps the grab to avoid it. Safety Guy is then surrounded by a powerful aura. Be careful!

Boney equips a collar while Safety Guy falls over and the room begins to shake. Soon, many nintendo objects start to fall from the ceiling. Wii U, 3DS, Balance Boards, ? Blocks, and even a Mr. Saturn fall and smash into Boney as he makes his way toward Safety Guy and knocks Safety Guy back into a wall with his forward smash.

Boney nabs the Mr. Saturn leftover from the Final Smash and throws it into Safety Guy. As he's hit, Safety Guy slowly falls to his knees before faceplanting into the ground. He then reverts back to trophy form, only this time the Safety Guy trophy is broken. The flat, blue man is completely snapped in half. Paper Mario gives Awkward a thumbs up and quickly retrieves the trophy.
Parakarry: Good job! You won the battle! Of course, we did give you an easier battle than usual, but you did pretty well. Don't worry about Safety Guy, he should be alright. It only takes a few coins to fix him up. Boney looks like he took a beating too. If you need him to be healed, just talk to Madame Flurrie at the counter in the lobby. Yoshi is going to keep testing the battle system, but I have some packages to get delivering. I'll see you around!
Parakarry then quickly flies off. The battle arena seems quiet now. Paper Yoshi disables the blue field and the room returns to normal, looking like a Pokemon stadium. He then begins to start doing work around the stadium by checking in on other machines.
Paper Yoshi: Once I get some of these machines up and running, you guys should be able to challenge each other to matches. You should also be able to use the summoning powers outside of the casino. That will be fun!
The lobby probably has a lot going on in it right now. You might want to check it out.
