Fuzz, did you give Mog Knights of the Round as a starting ability? I looked through the sign up, but I could have missed it.

Fuzz, did you give Mog Knights of the Round as a starting ability? I looked through the sign up, but I could have missed it. I wasn't sure whether I wanted to give him that with all the other planned summons or if I wanted to limit him to just powering up Malik's summoning of them when in the same party. I guess I could give them to him as a starting summon and have them grow in strength as he gets stronger summons. Speaking of summons, would everyone be okay with the first summon battle (Ifrit) happening relatively soon after the characters first arrive in Oz? They show up, get an explanation of what's going on, and suddenly Mog senses something at which point an out of control Ifrit appears and gives this game a literal trial by fire.

I...don't think Malik can summon the Knights of the Round. Especially since I remember him only using healing and holy magic in the original game, only resorting to battle if his enemy was undead.
Anyway, were you planning on having single attack summons like the original Lost Kingdom or FFX style summons? I've made sign ups for a bunch of the original summons so either way is fine. Also, feel free to do whatever you want with Fenrir and Valigarmanda since they're not even characters I made to begin with.
I originally envisioned just dropping the Eidolons into Yuleia in the same way they used to roam Terran. Massive monsters that just cause trouble until someone beats them up and claims their summon card. This way you can have a slow build in power and if anyone signs up a character that originally had that summon and they want it, there's no reason they can't just have their character go get it. Plus it allows other people to grab some of the summons if they want them. Including enemies, so that could be interesting. But I don't want to step all over what you originally wanted, so what did you have in mind for what you wanted?

I know he gave someone the KotR summon as that was his reason for going to Terran in the first place, but I could be wrong on who it was. I was planning single attack summons, but with each summon having two choices of moves depending on whether an elemental nuke or support move would be better in a situation. To give some examples... IfritHellfire: Strong AoE fire damage. Flameguard: Grant a fire barrier to all allies, reducing damage taken from physical attacks and countering them with a fire attack. ShivaDiamond Dust: Strong AoE ice damage. Chilling Wind: Lower the speed of all enemies and reduce the strength of their magic attacks. RamuhJudgement Bolt: Strong AoE lightning damage. Sage's Wisdom: Heal all allies a large amount and remove all status conditions. TitanGaia's Wrath: Strong AoE earth damage. Earthen Wall: Grant all allies the effect of Stoneskin, negating damage up to a certain amount.

Jess is in Oz and she has the ability to summon Garuda.
Paul has the ability to summon Carbuncle I might include him as a card character later.

Hey Fuzzy why not make the summons something that Mog has to find throughout Oz. Kinda of what I am doing with the Chaos Emeralds.
The summons could have got scattered across Oz as Mog was being summoned to Oz.
Maybe he starts off with one and then he has to find the others and either defeat them in battle, do some type of quest, or convince them to join.
Maybe have the limiting factors be the more powerful the summon the harder the quest or the harder the boss fight.

Maybe have the limiting factors be the more powerful the summon the harder the quest or the harder the boss fight. That's more or less what I had in mind (especially since being a full scale summoner like this is something new for him given how summons worked in Lost Kingdom), only with all of them being boss fights. Basically the process for each of them would be encounter Eidolon > Eidolon is running out of control and acting more aggressive due to the nature of Oz or something > boss battle > Eidolon turns into a card, Mog takes the card > Summon obtained > continue the adventure until the next Eidolon is encountered. More ability sets as long as I'm thinking of them: FenrirLunar Gale: Strong AoE wind damage. Howling Moon: Increase the speed of all allies and create illusory copies of them. Illusions can each take one hit before disappearing. LeviathanTidal Wave: Strong AoE water damage (Placeholder for support skill) OdinZantetsuken: Strong AoE physical damage, has a high chance of instantly killing certain enemies (determined by who owned the attacked victim). Gungnir: Very strong single target physical damage. ValigarmandaTri-Disaster: Very strong AoE hybrid fire/ice/lightning damage. Elemental Flow: Raise all allies' elemental defense while lowering all enemies' elemental defense. AlexanderDivine Judgement: Very strong AoE holy damage. Righteous Guardian: Raise the physical and magical defense of all allies and gradually regenerate their health. Bahamut WillMegaflare: Massive AoE non-elemental damage. Hallowed Blessing: Raise the physical and magical attack of all allies and allow them to survive one lethal blow.

Oh and Fuzz I can't wait for Bowser and Mog to interact with one another. It's going to be so much fun especially since Bowser will pretty much do everything Mog hates. Like calling him a teddy bear and be like what the hell is a Kupo and might mistake him for saying Koopa.
