Kiran calls home. He gets the answering machine. "Hey, Dogachu. Right, no opposable thumbs. Can you here me? You wanna come to the Volunteer Club today? Uh... I mean, you're invited. Alright, later."
Kiran heads to the Volunteer Club. Unsurprisingly, Dogachu isn't there. Instead, he gets loaded onto the bus and shipped out to the site where the club's been building a house. He ends up doing a bunch of stuff getting it ready for the grand opening Saturday... Ugh, physical labor.
Actually... It's not that bad...
Kiran gains a Kindness!
When the bus gets back to school, he finds Dogachu waiting for him at the school steps, holding his own leash. He looks... annoyed. Moreso than usual.
"Uh... Hey, buddy. Sorry, I couldn't get them to hold the bus for you."
Dogachu huffs.
"Right, so... Wanna go on an adventure or something?"
(A) BEACH
(B) To the park!
(C) Go wander around downtown
(D) Take Dogachu home
(E) Invite _____ to _____

Kiran heads into town, walking Dogachu. He notices a few people he recognizes from school. Grant is walking down the street, not really doing anything obvious. Tia is skipping along, seemingly in a good mood. That Lance kid is walking with what looks like his mom? Carrying a bunch of bags of stuff. And that kid, Lloyd, heads into the library. Oh, probably can't take Dogachu there...
(A) Check on Grant
(B) What's up with Tia...?
(C) See what's going on with Lance
(D) Screw it, go into the library anyway
(E) Ignore them, wander around
(F) Go check out the theater
(G) Wasn't there a bowling alley around here?

Kiran decides to head into the library. With Dogachu. He notices that Lloyd guy getting on the elevator and taking it up to the 5th floor.
The librarian sees him walking in with a dog. "Uh... Hey, you can't... bring that dog in here."
"What dog?" Kiran asks.
"The... one on a leash next to you."
"I don't know what you're talking about," Kiran says.
"You're walking it."
"No I'm not."
"I... what?" the librarian says. "You clearly are."
"I think you're reading too much into things. Get it? Reading? Hahaaaa, anyway..."
(A) Where are your video game guides?
(B) I'm looking for a fantasy type novel
(C) I need books about dog care, for the dog I'm walking
(D) Do you have anything about snake-ladies?
(E) What's on the 5th floor?
(F) Got any study guides?
(G) I wanna read The Art of War
(H) I seek the Necronomicon

"No, we don't carry those."
"Books about snake-ladies?"
"Mythology, 5th floor..."
"THE NECRONOMICON?"
"That's not real."
"Books about dog care? For my dog? The one right here?"
"Please leave."
"No, thanks." Kiran proceeds deeper into the library.

Kiran follows the helpful signs up to the 5th floor. Getting out of the elevator, he sees some familiar faces in the religion section and goes to pester them. "Hey, Buttons. Yo, Lloyd." Buttons seems to be holding some books already. "What's on the menu today? Buddhism, huh. Neat."
Dogachu sits down and starts browing the books.
"Oh hi Kiran. And who's this guy?" Lloyd leans down and looks at Dogachu. "You looking for a book too, fella?"
"That's Dogachu," Kiran says. "He's a smart dog, but he's not really into these religion-type books. Bye the way, do you know where the snake-lady section is?"
"What, like... naga? Gorgon? Or more like yuan-ti? Or... Ah. Got it. Yeah, I can help you find something," Buttons says.
Lloyd and Dogachu seem to be having a staring contest, until Dogachu gets bored, slips off his collar, and wanders off.
"Don't go too far," Kiran tells him.
The dog huffs as he walks away. Buttons and Kiran head off, as well. You find them again in the mythology section, looking at books about Greek myths. "This one should be good," Buttons says, handing Kiran a large book.
"Hm. There's a lot of words..." Kiran complains.
"Yeah? It's a book." Buttons leans back, then glances over at Lloyd. "Hey, so what's your favorite mythology?"
"Ohh... Hmm. Maybe Polynesian? Though Aboriginal was pretty interesting." He snaps his fingers excitedly "Voodoo, Voodoo's my favorite!"
(A) Ne-e-e-e-erds
(B) (Quietly walk away)
(C) The best is obviously Greek
(D) Uh, the best would be Egyptian?
(E) What about Native American?
(F) I sure do love modern interpretations of old myths
(G) The best is... zoopoveganopticism, you probably haven't heard of it
