Kiran decides it's time to kick the ocean's ass. He proceeds to attempt it... and fails miserably. A large waves knocks him on his ass and sends him rolling all the way back up to the shore.
"...Ow."
Well, that was fun. Kiran's glad he did that.
He wanders over to Mattea. "Hey, Mat. Mat? Hm, if I start calling you Mat, it could get confusing with Nat. Nat and Mat. Yeah, too close. Gonna keep calling you Mattea. Uh, are you listening?"
Nope. On closer inspection, she seems to be asleep. Hm... Guess she was sunbathing and dozed off. And now the sun's almost set.
(A) Wake her up
(B) Leave her alone
(C) Nap with her
(D) Find a blanket and cover her up
(E) Find some ice cream and drop it on her
(F) Poke her a bunch

Kiran grabs his blanket and tosses it over Mattea. He's in the middle of tucking her in when she snaps awake. She doesn't say anything, just slowly turns and stares at Kiran.
Kiran freezes for a moment, then continues tucking her in.
"...O...K... If I didn't already know you were a weirdo, I would probably be freaked out," Mattea says.
(A) Sorry?
(B) You're welcome?
(C) (continue silently)
(D) I just wanted to make sure you didn't get cold...
(E) Good, you're awake. Wanna go for a swim?

Mattea rolls her eyes. "Yeah. You definitely weren't just looking for an excuse to get up on this." She sits up.
"So... Want to hang out? We're at the BEACH after all."
"Why did you say it like that? Whatever. Yeah, I'm going home," Mattea says.
Wow. OK. Well, her loss. Still, she didn't seem mad or anything. Which is a solid step up from how a lot of Kiran's interactions seem to have gone lately.

Kiran heads home. Tia's out late again, and so is Dogachu? Did Tia take him out for a walk? Well, Kiran's not worried. Dogachu does this sometimes, but always comes home by the morning. Kiran heads to bed.
He dreams of a fancy, golden mansion. Well, presumably. All he can see is the main hall. But it certainly looks like a mansion.
In the middle is a giant bird-looking thing. It looks kinda like a fluffy owl...? Or maybe like a pigeon. Whatever it is, it's kind of golden-white. And about twice a human's size.
Someone walks through the front door, which is covered by a portal. Oh, it's Dewey. The bird turns to look at him. Dewey looks back at the bird. Nervously.
"Can I... help you...?" the bird asks. "It's a bit rude, rude to just waltz into someone's home unannounced."
"Sorry for intruding, but what exactly is this place?"
"The Gleaming Mansion, Mansion. My home. Mine." The bird clacks its beak.
"I see. Well then, I suppose I'll be going now, I can tell when I'm not wanted."
"Yeah, yeah. Bad time, bad time." Oh, shit, that bird's about to give Dewey a bad time?
Dewey wisely retreats back through the portal.
The bird shrugs and turns back to whatever it was doing. What is it doing? Kiran struggles to try to see what exactly the bird's up to. It seems to be reading some kind of book?

Wed, Sept 26
When Kiran wakes up - rather, is woken up by Somnis - Tia's already gone. Again. Hm. At least Dogachu's back, refusing to leave his dog bed. He must've been out pretty late.
It's a non-eventful day at school, other than another reminder about Somnis' thing this weekend. Natsumi seems to be in a better mood than she's been in the last few days, though she dozes off a few times.
