Kiran thinks for a moment. "How about we name him after the thing he does? The hopping thing? Boing-boing? Flops? Sproink?"
"Sssssproink?" Tia repeats. "Sssssproink. Sssssproink. Sssssproink."
Yeah, that's not going to get annoying.
Soon the rabbit's all boxed up - Tia's carrying that, of course, while you get the heavy cage and food and all the other supplies... Not fair.
As you leave the store, you find a very, very annoyed-looking Somnis with her hands on her hips. "Hey, Kiran! Tia! Nice of you to wait for me, like we'd planned!"
(A) "Hey, Somnis. Bye, Somnis."
(B) "Oh crap I forgot about that."
(C) "Yeah, tough."
(D) "I thought we were meeting you here!"
(E) (Hold up Sproink and hide behind the cute)

Kiran quickly drops all the supplies and goes for the rabbit. He pulls it out of the box and hides behind him.
"Please don't be made look at the face," Kiran says.
"Awwww," Somnis sighs. "Wait, I wanted to be part of picking him out! I'm mad at you two!"
Tia frowns and flicks her tongue out. "Why are you mad at Sproink?"
"Sproink?" Somnis asks. "Awwww... Er, no, Tia. I meant you and Kiran. Mostly Kiran."
"Look at the face!" Kiran repeats.
"So cute... I mean, you better not miss the volunteer club tomorrow, too, or I'm gonna be really mad, Kiran!"
"Oh... well... OK," Kiran says. "So, um... Let's all head home and get Sproink settled in, maybe?"
"Fine," Somnis says. "I can at least help set up his hutch and make sure he gets along with Dogachu."
Ah, right... that.
The group heads back home, and starts setting up the hutch in Tia's room. Well, mostly Kiran. Well, mostly Somnis. Kiran tries, but isn't the best at putting things together. Tia spends most of the time holding Sproink. Dogachu spends the entire time glaring at Sproink from the doorway. By the time Somnis heads home, he's taken to lying there and staring. Staring. Always staring. Never growling. Never blinking. Just staring.
Kiran makes sure Tia sleeps with the door shut. Dogs and rabbits don't always get along, right? Better... not to push this too hard.

Kiran finally heads to bed after making sure Dogachu and Sproink are well-separated for the night.
He dreams of spiders... No, not spiders. Just a web. A giant, empty web. Hanging in a dark corridor lined with doors made of iron bars. The web shifts slightly, followed by forceful shaking. Lightbulbs dangling from the web light up in sequence as if following a trail, stopping in front of one of the doors. The light flickers for a moment, then slowly the trail returns towards the center of the web.
Kiran snaps awake on his own for once. Ah... Somnis will be here to wake him up any minute...
(A) Pretend to be asleep and ambush her when she comes in
(B) Get up and start being productive to really surprise her
(C) Back to sleep...
(D) Go get Tia
(1) Go to Somnis' Volunteer thing as promised

Kiran hears his window open, followed by what's probably Somnis moving around. After a brief pause, she comes running out of the room. She rounds the corner in a blind panic, stopping as she sees Kiran sitting at the table eating breakfast with Tia. Sproink is seated on the table between them, gnawing on a piece of celery. "K-Kiran!?" she asks. "I see, Tia must've woken you up..."
"Nope," Tia says. "He woke me up. Well actually Sproink woke me up, but then I went back to sleep."
"I was just excited to go to your thing is all," Kiran says.
Somnis stares blankly back at him. "Oh."
"Yep. So... shall we?"
"Uh, yeah..."
"Yep!" Tia answers.
Lots of people are at the Volunteer Club's event today. Somnis is taking charge and directing everything. Natsumi and Buttons are acting as her secondary coordinators. Kiran feels a bit annoyed he wasn't invited to do so, too. Then again, he did wait until the last minute to sign up. Tia, Katie, Fox, Grant, and Avel are among the workers, and Jimmy's taking a lot of pictures of everything. Alice arrives, still in a few casts and a wheelchair, though all she can do is watch. Mattea, of course, is here as the president.
The volunteers spend the morning all putting together the last few finishing touches. Decorations and whatnot. Loading some food in the pantry and refrigerator, some clothes and toys for the kids.
The family moving in arrives in the early afternoon. Their reaction is complete shock at everything going on. More than a bit of crying. They thank everyone that helped personally. It's not something any of you are likely to forget any time soon.

Afterward, Somnis needs to stay behind to do some paperwork. But everyone else starts to go their separate ways...
"Gotta go get stuff ready for tomorrow," Buttons mutters to himself.
Natsumi nods at him. "I'm going to hang out with Freya tonight, but I'll be there. Bye, Kiran-person!"
