Kiran heads to the BEACH. Alone. Bunch of traitors. It's fine. He'll find other people there. People who enjoy the beach. Like people should.
When he gets to the beach, he finds that white-haired guy that was at the wrestling club the other day. Dean? Yeah, Dean. He's reading a book on the beach. Weird.
It's pretty cold, especially with the sun setting.

Kiran walks over to Dean and flops down in the sand. "Hey, Dean. Yo. I see you enjoying the BEACH."
"GAH?" Dean jumps. "Uh, hey. Kiran. Why did you yell that last word?"
"Because the beach is awesome, yeah?"
"Oh. Well, yeah. I like it. A lot of people stop coming here around this time of year, y'know. Just because it's kinda cold and people can't swim any more."
"Bunch of wusses is what they are," Kiran says with his arms crossed.
Dean laughs. "Regardless of their reasons, it means this is a nice place to get some time alone. And at night it's especially nice. You can see the stars without all the lights from the city. Not all of them, but it's still nice."
"Huh." Kiran looks up at the sky. Dean's right. "Cool. But y'know there's other stuff to do out here besides swimming and looking at the sky! A lot of stuff."
Dean nods. "Mm-hm. Beach sports, napping, reading, talking with people, shopping..."
"Huh. You get it." Kiran nods at the kindred spirit. "...Well, I'm going to go do stuff now."
"Bye," Dean says.

Kiran talks with Dean a bit more, then heads home.
He goes to sleep, and begins to dream. He dreams of a grey world, completely still and silent. It looks familiar... No, he's seen this place before. That weird portal on the outskirts of town, with the particularly crazy monsters.
As usual, the dream is interrupted by Somnis belly flopping onto Kiran's bed. He nearly gets thrown out. Dogachu and Tia stand at the doorway, staring.
Somnis stares at Kiran expectantly. "Come on, Kiran! You didn't forget about Buttons' big thing today, did you? His big surprise?"
"I'm going..." Tia says quietly. She looks a bit nervous. "Even though I don't really want to..."
"You're coming to support him, right?" Somnis asks.
(A) Yep!
(B) Screw that, I've got stuff to do (choose something else)
(C) Sorry, need to study
(D) Roll over and go back to sleep
(E) Hey, Somnis? Tia? Have you ever heard of an Otherworld place that's just grey?
