"Let go of me those bastards can't get away with taking Raine," Sam is half heartily trying to fight Floyd but doesn't resist too much.
"What is the point of having this power if we can't even protect someone we care about?" Sam is starting to tear up.
"Those men were bullies and I...,". "They reminded me of some bullies back home that use to tease me and pick on me all the time,". "There was this group of really mean girls that teased me because of my hair color.". "Use to call me granny and bump into me on purpose,". "Then mockingly say oh hope you didn't break a bone or something, then laugh it off,".
"I wanted to do something so bad, but I was always outnumbered,". "Until one day I did something about it,". "But then......, sorry Floyd," Sam tears up.
"Just now I felt that same kind of powerlessness from those masked jerks,". "Raine she.....,". "Just like Sara and......,". "I could only sit and watch," Sam is incomprehensible between the sobbing and tears.
"Floyd why did you help me out back there?". "I am just some stranger from the mall and school,". "You could have just left me behind," Sam says to Floyd.

A reassuring smile finds it's way back on Floyd's face "First off I'm glad you're here now instead of someplace where they hate great hair second you didn't just sit and watch you fought as hard as you could there's no shame in being outgunned literally did you see that thing" He spreads his arms wide to display just how big "And lastly I helped you because you help others you are so much not the bystander you fear yourself to be your in the thick of it doing what you think is right. I didn't confront that monster alone, I didn't face those "bullies" alone , and I certainly won't save Raine alone"

Floyd, Sam
Sam gets about halfway through her rant at the one with the cannon before they become visibly annoyed. "Disable the limiter, authorization code-"
"Gamma! None of that!" the one with the scimitar chides them.
"Grrrr...!" Cannon - Gamma - stops and holds the cannon in shaky hands. When Floyd yells his parting taunts, he receives several shots in the back, but nothing bad enough to stop him.
The pair have a brief chat as they retreat towards the main chamber. But as they throw open the door, Floyd finds exactly what he was looking for.
You hear a loud snarl and look up to the balcony up above. Another of those people in armored suits is up there, this one with a shield and short sword. Something strikes them with a clang, and they get slammed against the railing. They roll to the side as what looks like a slobbering werewolf leaps and double-fist slams the spot where they had just been standing, then turns to roar in their face. They lash out with the sword for a quick slash as they take a few quick steps back.
One of the doors to the library opens. Violently. As a figure in a black cloak carrying a scythe gets sent flying through it. "Gah...! Dammit, why here!? I can't... Floyd, Sam! Run!"
A fifth suit walks through, this one with a club. "Huh. I really thought you'd be tougher than this. All our reports suggested you had at least some experience. Did we have bad intel?" They pause to shrug. "Oh, well. I'm not really one to bully little kids. Run along home, now."
As the two of you stand near the doorway, the three who were stealing Raine go running past you. You are standing between them and the main portal, after all.
"Ble-e-e-eh," Gamma taunts as they shove past you. The taunt sounds very strange roboticized like that.
"Please ignore Gamma. They are not very professional," the one with the scimitars says. "We will return your girlfriend at a later date."
"Pardon me," the one carrying Raine mutters.
"Um... Don't feel bad or anything? I didn't want to see you get hurt," Raine says as she's carried past. "But thanks for trying! I really appreciate the gesture!"
"Dammit! Katie, they're taking Raine!" the cloaked figure yells.
"Watch your language, young man!" Raine yells back at him. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. But you two are in deep trouble when I get back!"
The one carrying Raine is about to walk through the portal, when...
Alex
Instead of crashing into the door, you find yourself still running. In an instant, you can tell things are very different. Your armor feels much, much stronger. And your surroundings are completely different. You're in some sort of opulent, gold-hued room. It seems to be some kind of mansion foyer? You only have an instant to look around, though, because...
Sam, Floyd, Alex
A mysterious stranger with a belt of knives comes running through the portal and slams into the person in the black mechanical suit carrying Raine. All three of them go flying.
Raine picks herself up immediately. "...Ouch."
The one in the armor takes a moment longer. "Ow?" they ask more than state. They seem surprised more than injured.
Everyone in the room pauses for a moment to look at what just happened.

Sam looks around and then at the fallen Raine and the people and the stranger. Sam looks at the stranger and notices they look similar to the others.
Sam whispers to Floyd, "hey thanks for everything but now would be the time to grab Raine and get out of here right?".
Sam then asks Scimitar,"Hey is this person a friend of yours?"

Floyd nods "Good luck I'll be back once she's hidden by more then a sunflower" he whispers back to Sam with that he whistles taking to the winds once more. He stops only briefly to lift Raine gently on to the mount before retreating to where he recalls the bedroom is.

"...No," Scimitar answers. "I don't know who she is. Is she not with you?"
Alex
"Hello," the person in the black armor you just crashed into answers in a distorted, robotic voice.
"Hi," another says. They hold up what looks like the bastardized offspring of a bazooka and a rifle and aim it at your chest. "Bye!"
"Gamma..." warns another black-armored person says, this one holding a club.
You get a better look at the people in the room. Raine, the Gardening Club leader... A guy in a black cloak, a silver-haired girl with cat ears, and a guy in a military uniform and half-mask. Four of those people in the black armor, using that rifle, a pair of scimitars, one with a club, and the one that was carrying Raine. A clang upstairs draws your attention, and you see another black-armor person with a sword and shield... fighting a werewolf.
"Fine," the one with the gun-thing lowers her weapon. "Hey, get out of here. Go on. Shoo."
Floyd
You take off, grabbing Raine as you pass. "Huh?" she asks as you grab her. "Gack!"
"Hey!" Gamma yells at you. Several of those laser-bullets go whizzing past your head as you dart along.
You swish past Katie? and the one with the sword and shield, and into the bedroom.
And inside, you find... a large, white bird. Very large, and glowing very brightly. It looks like an iridescent dove almost twice your size. Just barely able to fit through the door, if you had to guess.
"Hello there. You must be the guests I was expecting. Hm? Is something wrong?" it asks in a warm, gentle, female voice.

"Nope never met the person before in my life," Sam responds.
Sam then asks the person who just appeared.
"Hey so are you with these guys or what?". "Or are you just here to explore or what not?" Sam asks the stranger who appeared.
Sam will casually make her way after Floyd and Raine and head towards the Bedroom area.

"Well I was asked by a stranger to come to the school building. this person showed me how to use this key I found a while back and told me to run inside and mect thimg I knew im here. Im sorry about the part about me running into you all"

Floyd lowers his guard as he realizes who this must be "Guests does that mean this is your house are you...Aunt Hinoh?" He asks "When no one greeted us at the entrance we split up to find them but, then these robot guys in black showed up and tried to kidnap Raine" he explains

Sam pauses on the way to the bedroom area to address the new arrival.
"Oh no you actually did me and a couple of my friends a really big service by running into these people,". "So umm thank you whoever you are,".
"So umm does anyone here actually go to this school?" Sam asks no one in particular.
Sam also turns to Gamma and Skimitar. "Oh and sorry what I said about you earlier,". "I was really mad about seeing my friend like that and not being able to help her,". "I am very sorry about all the mean and nasty things I said,". "Please forgive me," Sam asks of Skimitar and Gamma.

No one bothers to answer your question about if they're students.
The one with the scimitars and Gamma not-so-casually follow after you towards the bedroom. When you turn, Gamma levels her weapon and quickly shoots you in the chest. "Oh, don't even worry about it! You're totally forgiven!"
You drop to the ground as they go running past you.
"Sorry," Scimitar pauses just long enough to say. "Your friend will come back in one piece. We really do just want to talk."
The werewolf moves to block the two of them, but the one with the shield is making it hard. The one with the scimitars slips past while Gamma shifts the fight in favor of these armored weirdos.
You pick yourself up. Your key is now glowing and humming loudly.

You still have no idea what the Hell is going on.
Floyd
"'Aunt?' Haha, so you did come with those two little rascals. But, hm-hm. Robots? No, no, Dear. Those are people. No, no. Not just people. Trespassers. Intruders. Ah, my, my..." The flighty creature slowly moves forward towards the door, gently nudging you out of the way. She pauses as she passes Raine. "Ah, ah. That form? Yes. Do you not have a key, Sweetie?"
"Um... No. Sorry..." Raine says.
"No, no. It's not trouble, no." The bird-lady jams her beak into her breast feathers, rummaging for a moment, then produces a Soul Key and drops it in Raine's hand. "Here. Take, take."
"Oh? Um... I... I-is it really OK for me to take this?"
"Yes, yes. Take, take. Now, excuse me."
"Well... Thank you?" Raine says.
Sam, Floyd, Alex
A glowing-white bird, twice the size of a human, comes out of one of the upper floors.
"Hello!" she yells in an echoing voice. "Would all five of you in the black armor kindly, kindly get the fuck out of my house before I disembowel you for my divination!?"
The one with the sword and shield hesitates for a moment, earning them another punch from the werewolf. When they finish skidding back, they call out. "We can't win against her and all the others! We missed our chance, retreat!"
"Tch..." Gamma mutters as they hop over the balcony railing and break for the door.
"Hm. Shame," Scimitars agrees, following behind her. The others start retreating as well.

Sam picks herself up and rubs her chest. "I guess I kinda of deserved that for just completely dropping my guard," Sam says to herself.
Sam then turns to see Floyd Raine and the giant bird lady they are with. Sam stumbles backwards and into the railing.
"W w w wait your the Aunt lady we were looking for?". "Umm please Ms Aunt Bird lady, I came here with Raine and Floyd and Mr. Fox and Ms. Katie," Sam stammers out.
Sam gets on her knees and bows to the bird lady person. "Umm umm umm please don't disembowel me I ju ju just came here with my friends,". "Um um um please forgive me they said I would be welcomed here," Sam says to the Bird lady person.

Floyd let's out a sigh of relief as his suspicions are confirmed "Using the keys is easy all you've got to do is hold it and focus in on it then bamn super powers" he explains as Raine receives her key. That said he follows Hinoh out of the room it is her bedroom after all "And stay out" he calls after Gamma and Co. as they retreat.
