Floyd, Sam, Alex
Three of the armored people retreat through the front portal. Gamma pauses to fire three large orbs at Floyd when he taunts them.
Hinoh raises her wing and blocks the first two, then slaps the third back at Gamma. The blast knocks them over. The one with the club grabs them, and they both dive through the portal. An instant later, the ground where Gamma had been laying explodes into golden flame.
"Hm-hm. Missed." Hinoh bobs her head, then starts looking around. "Oh? Oh. The rest of you are fine, Dears, fine. You're welcome here, yes, here, yes. Until you give me a reason you are not."
Raine is staring at her key. Blankly. Clearly a bit overwhelmed. She walks over to Hinoh's bed and shakily takes a seat.
The werewolf and guy in the cloak both flash and turn back into Katie and Fox. "Aunt Hinoh!" they both yell at once. Katie runs over and hugs her. Fox comes running up the stairs to join in, as well.
"Everyone, are you OK!?" Katie yells once she's finished.
Fox disengages from Hinoh and starts looking around, too. "Um...! Sorry! I didn't... We didn't, um...!"

Sam
Sam reverts to her normal form and sits next to Raine on the bed. Sam motions for Floyd to come join them next to the two of them. First thing she does is hug Raine and starts to sob.
(like when Luigi finds Mario in those Mario and Luigi games and then the tear streams come)
"Raine I am so sorry I was too weak to protect you and that those robot, things almost took you,". "Can you ever forgive such a sorry excuse for a friend?" Sam asks Raine while sobbing and wiping away tears away.
Sam is too busy sobbing tears of joy to notice the stranger who didn't leave with the other strangers. Sam wants to ask questions but she is just so happy that Raine is safe.
"Oh and thank you kind stranger for saving Raine," Sam says to the visor stranger.

Floyd beams up at his Aviary savior as he drops his otherworld form "Thank you so much... Miss(?) Hinoh I don't want to think about what we'd do without you" he says awe thick in his voice. He notes Sam's motion so, begins to make a move towards them untill the waterworks start and stops him in his tracks.
Instead he turns to Katie and Fox to flash them a thumbs up "I've got all my limbs and enough of my insides to keep going so all's well that ends well... just maybe a little bit more cauton next time"

Alex decides to introduce herself to everyone.

her awkwardness is just oozing from her words.

Sam takes a moment from weeping tears of the joy and bear hugging Raine.
Unlike some people who left us high and dry in a freaky mansion filled with scary robot people. Now you should be begging poor poor Raine for her ever loving forgiveness(Sam's voice is filled with sarcasm and she sticks her tounge out at Fox).
(To Alex) This person is a savor who saved poor poor Raine from whatever terrible robot experiments they were going to do. You are a hero of the highest order and deserve so much more then our thanks. The world would be a much darker place if those evil robots took away Raine and did who knows what to her.
Sam then wipes her face grabs Floyd and puts him on the bed next to Raine and her.

Fox runs over to Raine and grabs her. "Raine! You're OK!"
"Um... Yeah. I'm fine," Raine promises.
"Wh-what did she mean a bunch of robots were trying to take you!?" Fox gasps.
"Oh, um... Well, they were... maybe sorta trying to kidnap me?" Raine says. "They said they wanted me to talk to their boss or something? They were pretty nice about it, I guess?"
"D-don't scare me like that..." Fox whimpers.
Raine crosses her arms and glares down at Fox. "More importantly, young man. Let's talk about that language you were using."
"S-sorry..." Fox looks down at the floor.
Katie goes up to the rest of you. "Hey, you guys are all OK, right?"

"I guess we are fine, even though I have no idea what those robot people were,". "What in the world could they want with Raine when she didn't even have a fancy magical key things, until just now". "Do they even have any weakness?". "We and Floyd barely did anything to them,".
"In fact I sucked and was completely useless,". "Raine I I I am so sorry that you were almost kidnapped by robots and forced to talk to there leader,". "Is it even possible to be stronger?" Sam looks on the verge of tears again.

Hinoh pokes her head over Sam's shoulder.
"Yeah, yeah... Your soul's pret-ty pathetic right now, right? Weak, weak. You wouldn't stand a chance fighting one of them. Fox, Katie. Katie, did better. Still not enough. Fox can't fight here. But they, they weren't even really really fighting you. Not 'they weren't taking you seriously' or 'they were sorta holding back.' They were making sure not to hurt you. Yes, yes." Hinoh flaps backwards a few feet and perches on the balcony railing. "Get stronger, stronger, before you try to fight someone like that again. Stronger, stronger... Friends, friends. Make friends, friends, and you'll get stronger, stronger. Strengthen your soul with friends!"
"With... friends...?" Raine asks.
"Yes, yes! Build strength with friends! Make your soul stronger! Bonds, bonds! Bonds strengthen your soul by further affirming your existence through the eyes of your allies! Allies, friends!" Hinoh chirps.
"That... sounds kind of..." Raine starts. She cocks her head in thought for a moment. "Manipulative...?"
Hinoh shrugs.

Floyd doesn't resist as he's moved around. He blinks rapidly a few times before shuddering "... Wait did you just look at Sam's soul what's....What's happening and what is this place what are you?" Floyd asks having reached the end of his rope his voice is tinged with panic.

"Is the world in danger or something?". "Are those weird robot people trying to take over the world?" Sam asks.
"I didn't want to save the world, I think,". "I just didn't want my friend to be kidnapped by robot people,".

"Oh, I love Perso-!" Hinoh stops herself, coughs, and clears her throat. She looks to Floyd. "Ahem. Ahem. Yes, yes. What were we speaking of? Yes, yes. This... most people call this the Otherworld. Simply, it is a world that links to your world through a few locations which are... similar? Similar.
"This area is my gleaming mansion. Gleaming Mansion. I am its guardian. My job is to protect it, using the power of the Soul of Light. Light. Yes, Light. It is strong, strong. And there are many areas, yes. Yes, all different. Different Souls. All strong, but only one other as strong as mine own."
"This is a lot to take in..." Raine stands up, then sits back down on the bed. She stares off into the distance, one hand on her head.
"What else did you ask? Hm. Hm... Yes, yes. The world. The world is ending. This is what their boss says. If their boss is who I think their boss is who I think. Mercia, Mercia, Mercia, Mercia..."
"Mercia?" Raine parrots.
"Mercia," Hinoh repeats. "Did I not say it clearly enough? She looks like an angel, but she is... Cruel? Cruel... No, perhaps not cruel. Obsessed. Yes, obsessed. She has lost any semblance of reason. She will do anything to accomplish her goals. Even murder. She wishes to save the world, yes, yes, the world, but which one? Whichever she wishes to save, she will do so at any means. Even if it means destroying one of our worlds."

"First what are going to do about Raine and keeping her safe,". "These people robot don't seem like the type to give up,". "Will Raine be safe if we go home?". "I don't think our souls our strong enough to protect Raine from killer robots. "Ms. Hinoh, Fox, or Katie do you know of anyone we can trust to keep Raine safe?".
"Second what do you mean Fox can't fight here so well?". "I get me and Floyd are inexperience and are still weak compared to everyone here,". "But Katie and Fox seem to know what's going on,". "Plus they seem to be really comfortable in this place and seem to know it really well,". "Why would only Fox have a hard time fighting here?". "Is he afraid of messing up your home?". "But then why wouldn't Katie be equally afraid?".

And they will want to keep their identities hidden, yes. Hidden, because they are not that desperate yet. Not yet. They may hide a letter in her locker, maybe, something like that, maybe. But they will not attack her. In your world, no. Maybe in the Otherworld, yes. Simply do not come discuss when you plan to come here in public where you may be overheard and you should be fine. Hard to follow. Yes, hard to follow. Make sure they do not.
"Fox, here, can't fight so well, not here. See, yes, his affinity is for darkness aether. Not much here, no. This place, full of light. Darkness, light, opposites. Yes." Hinoh nods as if that was painfully obvious.
