Raku
As you rematerialize in the area from your dreams you know this place is exactly the same as your dreams. Well with the exception of that mech and the human everything is just as you remember it. You appear to be close to the Blue Hedgehog and Orange two tailed fox.
The Blue Hedgehog like creature is too busy relaxing to notice your arrival.
The Orange two tailed fox is fiddling around with some sort of device. He's so caught up he hasn't known your presence yet either.
The Red Ecihinda is laying against another tree and sounds like he is fast asleep.
The Pink Hedgehog is kinda of staring at you but that's because your more or less in field of vision. The Pink Hedgehog is more focused on staying quiet as she (or what you assume is a she) gets closer to the Blue Hedgehog.
The other two creatures the Black Hedgehog and the Bat like creature are far enough away to where its hard to see them. Raku hears what sounds like mechanical sounds coming from where the Black Hedgehog is.
This area is very similar to your dream but that egg shaped human isn't around. Maybe one of these creatures knows what he is and what his deal his. Another thing you can do is maybe ask them about the gem you obtained from your dream.

“Hmm... That one there looks like he may be worth talking to. How do they greet each other again?”
“‘We come in peace’, I think.”
Approach the yellow one.
“Greetings, we come in peace. We’re looking for gemstones with an unusual energy signature like this one, have you seen any?”
Raku takes out the Chaos Emerald and shows it to him, then returns it to her sphere.

Raku
The Orange fox gives you a strange look and is confused by the greetings.
"Oh you must be space travellers,". "Sorry I was confused by the strange greeting,". "Right now I am just working on a radar to help with the location of these special type of Emeralds,".. "Right now just trying to work out the bugs,". "A little hard when you only have plant material and busted robot parts," the Orange Fox says while taking out a screwdriver.
"Oh right my name is Tails," Tails says as he turns towards you and offers his hand.
When you show him the Chaos Emerald, you posses he has to cover his mouth from almost blurting out loud.
"That's a Chaos Emerald," Tails says in as hush a voice as he can manage.
"Can you follow me please, I can tell you what I know but I want you to meet someone first," Tails says as he takes off flying with his 2 tails.
Raku and Khatii follow Tail as he flys towards the sleeping blue hedgehog.
"Sonic, I need to meet someone, they have a Chaos Emerald," Tails tells the Blue Hedgehog named Sonic.
Sonic upon hearing Raku has a Chaos Emerald stretches awake and springs up. Sonic very casually makes his way towards Raku and her partner. He then takes a moment to look at you and then reaches behind his back.
"So my buddy tells me you have one of these Emeralds,". "So how did you get your Emerald?". "These things aren't exactly easy to find,". "And they are extremely dangerous in the wrong hands,". "So what's your story?" Sonic is casually playing with the Chaos Emerald he posses. Sonic or Tails don't seem overly aggressive or like they are going to attack. Yet they are looking at Raku expatantly and are studying them.

“Would you believe me if I said I fought a fat human in a mech shaped like himself during a dream, managed to take it from him, and then still had it when I woke up alongside this pink thing that helped me out in that dream? Anyways, I’ve got a ship stuck in orbit around this planet and would rather leave to go somewhere that isn’t the galactic equivalent of a backwater town, but to do that I’ll need more of these to jumpstart my Warp Core once it’s in working condition. I’d explain what a Warp Core is, but either you can figure out what it does by name or the concept is way too far above your head.”

(Would Tails know what a Warp drive is? I think he would understand the concept given he's the genius scientist type and gifted inventor type.)

Well unless Earth in this game has invented interstellar travel (which Raku is assuming they haven’t given her knowledge of Earth is based on probes such as Voyager and that she’s never seen a human in space) then no, but if the idea was explained to him he’d probably be able to understand it easily enough. |

Sonic seems to be thinking about what you said. He quickly side steps the Pink hedgehogs attempt to tackle him from behind. The Pink Hedgehog stumbles before running off. Sonic then looks towards Tails and begins to address him.
"Hey Tails you were right seems like Ol' Egghead was holding out on us," Sonic says to Tail.
"Wow so you ran into Dr. Eggman in your dreams you said,". "Then again the Chaos Emeralds are powerful and mysterious objects so it might be possible, they could influence you like that,". "Then again they are often found in mysterious pocket dimensions so I guess a dream wouldn't be the weirdest place to find one," Tails said to Raku and her friends.
"Hmm but I heard everything I needed to hear,". "Any foe of Dr. Egghead is a friend of mine,". "Allow me to reintroduce myself, my name is Sonic the Hedgehog,". "I see you also got your hands on a Chaos Emerald,". "Just like the one I have,". "Well now it's always nice to meet a fellow foe of Dr. Egghead," Sonic tells Raku and her friends.
"Oh right your probably not use to what a Chaos Emerald is,". "I can go over the gist,". "But maybe it would be better to hear it from Tails,". "He better at all that technical talk then myself," Sonic says to Raku.
Tails then proceeds to tell you everything he knows about the Chaos Emerald.
(The funny thing is that you know way more about the Chaos Emerald then I do. Anyways now your free to use your knowledge of the Chaos Emerald now.)
"Hmm well it seems like these are important on your quest,". "I can't just give you my Chaos Emerald unfortunately,". "These things are highly precious, and sought after by others,". "If you want I can hold onto that Chaos Emerald if you want,". "I can keep it safe and well there are others here who might not be as nice about you having one," Sonic informs you.
"Hmm but maybe I can help you look for them since we are after the same thing,". "Course I would have to give you a little test first to see what your made of," Sonic says to Raku and her friends.
"So what will it be?" Sonic asks you.

“These things can bend space? No wonder the energy signature is so compatible with a Warp Core, that’s pretty much they do on a larger scale. Anyways. what kind of test are we talking about here? If you’re looking to spar that might be a little tough, I still need to get around to making a non-lethal mode for this thing.”

"Oh nothing like that,". "I prefer to avoid combat myself,". "Oh no it's just a simple game of tag,". "If you can tag me three times then I will agree to help you on your quest and to help look for the Chaos Emeralds,". "In fact I already know where a few of them are," Sonic says as he backs up a bit to give him some space.
"You can also use whatever tools, friends or whatever to help you,". "Oh and too make things fair I wouldn't use my Chaos Emerald,". "Plus there is no time limit, the game ends if you, your friend there, or the purple cat thing tags me 3 times,". "Or you choose to give up," Sonic tells Raku.
"So what do you say?". "Are you ready?" Sonic says to you. Sonic has a confident look on his face. Sonic also looks extremely causal and that he's going to enjoy this.

Sonic seems awfully pleased that you accepted his challenge. Sonic also has a look of extreme confidence and a very mischievous grin on his face. Tails recognises that look and sweats a little.
"Sonic please try to go easy on them," Tail pleads with Sonic.
"Now now Tails where would the fun in that be," Sonic replies to Tail.
Tail just let's loose a sigh and face palms at Sonic's response.
"Oh yeah keep this safe until our little game is over," Sonic calls out to Tails.
Sonic casually tosses the Chaos Emerald to Tails. Tails fumbles with the Emerald a bit before finally securing it. Tails then flies to the highest tree to get a look at the action from above.
Sonic puts a fairly good amount of distance between him and the three of you. Enough to where you can't just reach out and touch and you have to walk a bit to get to him.
Sonic then crosses his arms and begins to tap his toes. (The classic I'm waiting pose) Sonic doesn't even appear to be moving one inch. In fact he's standing still just smirking in your direction.
"Bring it," Sonic says to Raku and her friends.

Dawn lets loose a Flash in the hopes of briefly disorienting Sonic with the blinding light while Raku and Khaii capitalize on it to try to tag Sonic.

(I kinda of need you to elaborate on a few things it might help increase your chances. First off how fast is the species of Raku on foot? Second when Dawn uses flash is she standing still or moving? Finally is Raku or her partner moving or standing still when Dawn uses Flash?£

(There’s nothing on the wiki that actually says how fast they are, but with their small size and light weight I’d assume they’re reasonably quick on their feet but not ridiculously so to the point of your average Sonic character. The better way to describe their speed would be fast by real world standards. As for Flash, the point is to catch him by surprise with it which would imply they run forward the moment it goes off but not sooner.)

(Well a little good news bad news here. Well why explain it here when I can just play out the results.)
Sonic is patiently waiting for Raku or one her allies to make the first move. Sonic seems to be taking this very casually and to an extent he is not really taking this seriously. Sonic knows he can outrun anything they try and out maneuver anything they might do. Sonic almost feels pity for them but not too much.
Sonic doesn't expect the purple feline creature to Flash a blight light in his face. Sonic is blinded temporally blind him and he isn't able to see properly. Sonic makes out the one figure coming towards him but he doesn't see Raku in time.
Sonic feels Raku tag him in his back before he recovers his sight and sprints to safety.
"Hmm that's a neat trick your pet has,". "Well then looks like I don't need hold back anymore,". "Oh and I should warn you that trick wouldn't work on me again,". "Let's see if you can handle a little speed," Sonic says to Raku.
Raku has a feeling that Sonic just started to take this game of his seriously.
Sonic appears next to Raku and says, "Hey over here think you can catch me again,".
Sonic appears just a few feet in front of Dawn and says," Your too slow,".
Sonic appears to be on top of a tree? Sonic is waving towards you and giving you a finger wag.
Sonic appears in the same position he was just in and the same exact pose.
You see multiple Sonic's in multiple different places. He appears to be everywhere at once but no where at once. It's like Sonic is standing perfectly still but he also appears to be everywhere at once. When Sonic said he was going to get serous, you didn't expect this. Just what did Sonic mean by a little speed. Just how fast is Sonic? Is he even using his real speed?
