Mendel, Main Reception Stephen ignores one of his comrades being shot to investigate the air vent and broken lights. Most of the broken lights appear to have burnt out, though it would take more investigation or specialization to figure out how this many long-lasting bulbs went out at once. One of them close to the air vent appears to have been SHATTERED by some sort of impact from the side. He pushes past his injured ally and finds the air vent has not only been sealed, but also WELDED shut.
Sheila sits.
Two of the troopers grab Campbell and begin giving him a quick examination. One slaps him on the back. "You're fine. Walk it off."
"Probably best we don't blow our way in just yet We can't interrogate a bunch of pulp," another says. "Who's the field commander?"
A loud beeping draws everyone's attention. The door that was open seems to have locked itself, and a light beside the door is now flashing. "In Use."
Mendel, Decontamination Room You look through the WINDOW and see what appears to be a small security office. A desk with two seats looks into your current room. It has one well-armored door on the far side, as well as a LOCKED CABINET with a rifle on the wall.
You push the button, and both doors slam shut. The LEDs mark them both as SEALED. A loud klaxon begins to blare in your ears. A fine mist begins to spray from the showerheads, and the dimmed lights glow bright. After 15 seconds, the distant door is marked as UNSEALED, but the way back remains SEALED.

Stephen will go ahead and see what is going on with Cambell and the soldiers. Stephen will ask if he has to light up some fools.

"Shit..." Marris mumbles to himself.
He bring his short range radio up to his mouth and quietly says a single line into it. "I was checking out a decon room, but have been locked inside. I'll have to find another way around. How do you copy, command?" Marris waits patiently for an answer before entering the door.

Kent moves to help Campbell with his door problem "So we've got a shell-shocked sole survivor that's never a good sign I'll try to establish a more positive dialogue" he tells the gathered team members.
Kent rasps his knuckles against the door rhythmically "Hello in there we're just here to help trust me I'm a doctor let me help you on your feet then when you're ready you can tell us what's going on here" he shouts calmly

Mendel, Decontamination Room "Good copy. Standby," the voice on the other end answers. After a minute, the voice comes back. "The others will look for a release for the lock. Proceed at your discretion."
Mendel, Main Reception Stephen asks if he needs to start shooting people. "Yeah, probably not so much," one of the soldiers says. "Sounds like it's just one scared civvie with a pistol."
One of the soldiers looks at Sheila, then goes back to not looking at her because she is a dog.
Kent tries to talk to the man through the door. He hears the sound of a gun firing twice, bullets ricocheting off the door, then silence.
Everyone's radios crackle to life. "Command to field team. Marris activated the decontamination chamber and now it's sealed you out. There should be a release for the lock somewhere nearby. You'll need to search for it."

"Okay... Okay... I don't think the guy locked the door? We need to at least get that guy under control... I'll search for something to use as a shield, go in, the shield will block the shots, I'll reach the guy, then hit him with the shield in question. I just need everyone available to jump on him so we can get him under control."
Campbell will look around the reception area to see if there's anything he can use as a shield.

Marris opens the door and carefully peaks around the corners, searching for an entrance to the security room, he also tries to find something to jam into the door entrance in case it locks so he can slip back through.

Mendel, Main Reception Campbell goes looking around the room for a makeshift shield. The chairs look pretty flimsy. They might block a bullet or two, but it's still risky. The vent cover might work, if it weren't welded shut. One of the vending machines would definitely work against that pistol, and it should fit through the door. Even if it would look a bit doofy.
Stephen starts looking around the desk. He finds a SMALL COMPUTER that only has a few files on it - a list of ships scheduled to arrive at the station and a few visitors. Looks like it's just a way to confirm and authorize visitors. It also has a switch hidden on the bottom of the desk. When Stephen presses it, the outer door to the DECONTAMINATION ROOM unlocks.
Mendel, Secondary Reception As Marris proceeds into the next room, the inner door behind him snaps shut and locks before he can jam it. He finds himself in a small reception room similar to the one he was just in. There's a desk, a row of identical chairs, more vending machines... There's another door behind the desk. By Marris' reckoning, it should head into that security room. It appears locked, with a KEYCARD READER beside the door. There are two more doors out of the room, one directly AHEAD and the other LEFT. The right wall has a large window with a view of space. Marris can make out the hanger to one side.
The air in this room is a bit more fresh than in the other reception room. A vent in this corner is open, unlike the other. The lights are all on, as well.

Marris stares at the vent for a moment before he begins to sweat, he shakes off his nervousness and searches around the desk for any kind of access card or info.
