~Metal Express: Long Black Train~
Karl
You step through the portal and immediately fall on your butt. It feels like the ground you stepped out on is moving. After a second to regain your balance and figure out what's going on, you realize you're on some kind of wide, flat platform surrounded by a small fence. All the terrain around you is a stark white, so it takes you a second to realize you're moving - and it's hard to tell exactly how fast with no point of reference. After some scanning you spot a large building off in the distance that vaguely resembles a mall, and you start to get a better idea... You're going fast. When you look back, you see a set of brown-and-grey railroad tracks stretching far back into the distance. Up ahead is what looks like some kind of small house. The portal seems to be moving alongside this... whatever it is. It definitely looks like a train, but way, way bigger than any you've ever seen. This platform along looks like a football field...
Fox and Katie are both hanging onto the railing on the side of the platform, leaning out and staring into the distance. "Wow!" Fox yells over the sound of the rushing wind. "It's so big!"
"I haven't seen anything like this in the Otherworld!" Katie agrees. "This is SO COOL!"

"This is really cool..."
Karl joins them at the railing, but doesn't lean over out of a slight fear.
"You know, the other places, like that lava world? Not very nice. That weird mall place? Not very nice. This is actually pretty relaxing."
Karl chews on a poptart and stands in the wind, taking in the scenery.

Your moment of reverie is interrupted by the realization that Fox and Katie are gone. A quick glance and you see the door up ahead is standing open. Also, other people are here now.
Dewey, Sam
You step through the steel-grey portal. Thanks to Tia and her high momentum dragging them along, Dewey and Kiran are fine. But when Sam and Raine step through, they get thrown to the ground. Freya staggers, but manages to keep her footing.
You take a moment to look around and find that you're on a wide, flat platform in the middle of a stark-white landscape... and you seem to be moving, very quickly. The only color around you is a set of railroad tracks rushing past behind you, and whatever is in front of you - which appears to be a large, house-sized building. If this is a train, it's the largest you've ever seen. Oh, and Karl's here, too.
Tia runs to the railing of your platform and points into the distance. "Look, look! The Soul Labyrinth!" she calls out, pointing to a small blob in the distance that might be a building.
Fox and Katie are nowhere to be seen, but considering the open door ahead of you it doesn't take a genius to guess what happened.

Dewey glances over to the Soul Labyrinth in the distance.
“Interesting... Is this the only mobile labyrinth?”
He then notices that there’s one more person here than expected accounting for Fox and Katie going on ahead.
“Oh, hello Karl. What are you doing here?”

(If we just toss Karl over the edge right now of the train. He can't survive right? Or how will he survive getting tossed off a high speed moving train?)
Sam
Sam does her best to get her balance. Sam also makes sure Raine is okay and tries her best to help her up to her feet.
"Don't worry Freya we got plenty of people who been doing this for a while now,". "This has been my third time coming to the other world,". "So I am starting to kinda of get the hang of this,". "But I promise to not let you or Raine down captains,". "Raine I hope to make it up to you this time,". "I hopefully gotten stronger to protect you this time." Sam says to Raine and Freya.
"By the way Dewey or Ms. Tia,". "Who's Karl?". "Can we trust him?". "Or is he a spy like for the angel lady like those robot ninja people?" Sam asks Dewey and Tia.

"I saw Fox and Lisa going into the train station and decided to make sure they weren't doing anything bad. As far as I can tell, they were fine."

Tia does her tongue thing a few times. "This is Karl," she says, pointing at Karl. "And I dunno if this is the only moving labyrinth. I haven't been to most of them."
"Easy, warrior princess," Freya tells Sam. "Let's just take this nice and slow and be safe, OK? No heroic nonsense. Oh, right. That reminds me. Better tell Nat what's going on or she might be upset with me later. Don't wanna give her an excuse to dunk me next time..."
"I'll message her," Raine offers. "You go ahead and use your key... She taught you how, right?"
"Right, sure..." Freya says.
Raine casually does her transformation and sends her text message while Freya focuses on her key. "Right, just gotta... concentrate... and..." Freya flashes, and is instantly engulfed in a set of pads from various sports, complete with a hockey mask to hide her identity. "Pretty cool," she says, stretching and hopping in place a few times. "Right, then. Slow and steady."
"Yeah, great, come on!" Kiran insists. He takes off after Fox and Katie. "Tia, Dewey, we're going in first!"

Sam kinda of blushes at Raine transforming then she remembers about her own key.
"Oh right better transform to," Sam says to the twins.
Sam grabs her key and transforms into her other world form.
"So Freya what do you think?" Sam asks.
Sam will wait for Raine and Freya before following after Dewey and the others.

Dewey, Sam, Karl
You head into the next train car and you find a wall right in your path. You look to the left and find Kiran already halfway up a set of stairs. They lead to a walkway that continues forward. Fox and Katie are up ahead, leaning on the railing and looking down. Once you climb up, you realize the wall is holding back an ocean of garbage. The whole giant room seems to be filled with mostly scrap metal, leaving only this walkway. It seems to pass straight through to a door to the next room.
Down in the metal scrap garbage pile, you spot a few spots that seem to be shifting as if some things are moving just under the surface.

Dewey Analyzes the moving spots, taking this time to ask Tia a question.
“So just what are these Beasts you said the girl in the Plant Labyrinth is one of? I think I remember you calling the Minotaur in the Soul Labyrinth one as well, but I can’t recall if you ever explained what the term meant.”

Sam will remain on guard waiting for Dewey's analysis to finish.
"Oh the Great Boss lady mentioned something about a bull creature,". "When we went to the mall Merenna mentioned something about a bull creature to avoid because of how strong he was,". "Is that what your talking about?".
"I thought the Guardians like Hinoh were the ones in charge?". "What's the Minotaur thing then? Sam asks.

Tia tilts her head. "Hm, well... How to explain it? Um..." Flick. Flick. Flick. "OK, we Guardians are supposed to guard the Souls, but the Beasts guard us Guardians. Especially against other Guardians. Kinda. They're all really strong, but they're really, really strong against Guardians. Um... Let me see... Asterios just kinda randomly wanders around the Soul Labyrinth usually, but if he ran into anything that didn't belong there he'd try to kill it. Especially if it was a Guardian. Besides me. But the Plant Beast woulda attacked me immediately. And if we couldn't escape she definitely woulda killed me. And, um, if someone with a Soul were to attack a Guardian, the Beast would come running. That's why I had to let Mercia hold onto my Soul Soul when I fought Dragon. And she couldn't help us directly, even though she did cool us down..." Flick, flick, flick, flick. "And then she gave me my Soul back? I didn't think she would, but I couldn't let the others fight alone..." Flick, flick, flick, flick, flick. "I don't understand why she did that. Isn't she trying to collect them? Why didn't she keep it?"
While she talks about Mercia, Tia's armor fades in and out from her bikini-esque toga to her normal outfit.
"I don't understand..."
Dewey's analysis fails. It seems like he needs a clear line of sight to analyze something.

Dewey seems perplexed as well.
“Trying to foster good will, perhaps? Taking a hostage seems rather counterintuitive to that, though.”
Dewey looks around for a small enough piece of scrap in reach to pick up and throw by one of the moving piles, attempting to provoke a response.
