Justine and Rasim

Luna makes the first move, bouncing up to the green lizard. She hops up into the air and slams her body into it. It doesn't look like it did that much damage...

"Alright, Treeko. Shadow Blitz!" The shadowy aura around Treeko intensifies as it charges Luna. When it crashes into her, you watch as the aura blasts outward, intensifying the damage.

Luna is sent tumbling backward. She seems to be pretty badly injured already.

Jacin

"Um...My name is Levi. And...honestly, I don't know. Are we in the other world right now? I didn't see you guys using Soul Keys." He looks pretty nervous. "That guy that saved me... Is he...?" Levi looks up at you. He then shakes his head. "I..." He sighs. "I don't know how I ended up here. I just remember being at school and then...I don't know. I thought I was talking to Avel. Have you seen any of my friends? Do YOU know where we are? What was that flower? I thought I was kidnapped by one of Solara's minions, but..."

He seems to be a whirlwind of questions and anxiety.

Akari, Evelynn, Mara

The three of you head into the laboratory. You see a particularly bored woman filing paperwork. She looks up, sees you, and sighs. "Ugh... More people. I thought a death island would be relatively quiet for business..."

"Oh, Mira, are there more guests?" You here a rather peppy voice coming from one of the side offices. Just then a woman with long, blonde curls and a labcoat walks out. "Ooh, more people! I was beginning to think Saggy took all the fun for himself." She winks at you. "Hey, babes. What can I help you out with~?"

Mira absentmindedly points to the egg. "Hatching services, Liz."

"Of course!" She walks up to you with a pep in her step. "I'll be taking this, loves. Don't worry, you'll get it back when it's a lil monster guy. It won't take long. Go ahead and have a seat." Without waiting for any questions or objections, she takes off with your egg.

"So excited about everything. Disgusting..."

You take a minute to just wait around in the waiting room. You pick up a copy of the Beginner's Guide to Monster Taming because it's there. Not much else to look at, honestly. As you flip through the pages, you read up a bit on monsters and how to raise them. Seems pretty simple. You just feed them and stuff like pets and they grow.

Liz then returns with your former egg in her arms.

It looks like she's holding a little pile of goo, but as she brings it closer to you, the goo shapes itself into a kitten. It's... a cat made of slime? It gives you something of a bubbly meow. "Looks like you have an interesting species of slime here. This little guy can melt down into liquid form or he can go into cat form. But he doesn't seem to have any other abilities. Anyway, you should name the lil bugger."

Liz hands you your new gooey friend along with a Capture Rune to carry it around in.

There's not much to say aside from the description I already gave you. She's mostly featureless. Luna's round and blobby with no appendages save for the cotton tail she has. She's got a star on her forehead and two black eyes. Her body is fuzzy, covered in shiny, black fur. She doesn't seem to really have any abilities yet since she's practically a newborn, so you're mostly limited to physical tackles when it comes to attacks.

Jacin

"I uh..." Levi glances at your hand on his shoulder. You notice his face turn red. "Uh, thanks." He tries to get up from the fountain, but trips and lands on his face. "Ow. I'm okay. Just uh... Don't look at me anymore. I'm gonna go uh... See if anyone can fix my key."

He lays on the floor, waiting for you to stop looking at him before he gets up and heads to the laboratory. You're pretty sure his face is even more red now and he's mumbling to himself.

Justine

(Okay thank you Just)

"Luna can you continue," Justine asks the hurt Luna.

Luna struggles to her umm feet. Luna may be hurt but she's not ready to give in just yet.

"Good Luna you can do it I believe in you,". "You can take on that weird shadow lizard thing,". "Come on I will support you to," Justine says as she starts to dance(?).

(You know how Mario and Luigi dance when selecting a move in Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga. Justine starts dancing like that to show her support for Luna.)

"Hm straight on attacking will just end up the same results,". "But she's just a baby so she can't do much,". "But umm what can we do Luna?". "You have any ideas?" Justine asks Luna.

Luna looks confused until an idea strikes Justine.

"Hmm," Justine thinks to herself.

"Oh I got an idea," Justine says to Luna.

Luna looks towards Justine and nods almost like she understands something is going on.

Luna will hop into Justine like she is hoping into a hug.

Justine will then snuggle Luna and proceed to Yeet Luna towards the sky.

Luna while in the air will begin to spin. Luna will then begin spinning and tumbling towards Trecko. Luna will make sure to cover anything that could give away her postion.

Justine will begin to dance again and cheer on Luna.

Jacin dusts off some stray confetti and goes on a search to find Levi.

Jacin and Rasim

The both of you leave the scene of the monster battle and go searching for Levi. Eventually, you find him speaking with a hooded jackal man sitting on a carpet.

"...So you can fix it?"

"Of course. For about 200 Gold."

"I don't have any gold at all..."

"Well you could always get some. I hear there's an arena on floor 5. Skilled fighters could earn quite the stash there..."

"But I can't fight without my Soul Key. I'm just... a normal person without it."

"Well I can't be giving away my services for free, now can I? That wouldn't make me a very good salesman."

The both of them notice you approaching. "Uh... hi. I'm trying to get my key fixed. It's not going well..."
