Rasim stumbles forward a bit, turning around to find a human girl calling his name.
“...Do I know you?”

Lilly turns to derric "we should probably see what all of the commotion is about." They both head to the church

Justine

Justine picks herself up and dusts herself off.

"Sorry so sorry about that,".

Justina and Luna bow in apology to Rasim.

"Oh umm no I don't think you know me yet,". "I kinda of just arrived here and I only visited the monster lab,". "I was just hoping we could talk,". "You look like you know what's going on around here,". "I was just hoping to talk about what's going on,".

"Of course after your done talking with the professor,". "Maybe you could help me explore the doors and the ruins and stuff?" Justine asks

--Jacin--
Jacin grabs the torch, lockbox, and Glass' Soul gem. He turns to leave and then looks back at Levi. "You coming? Sounds like quite the commotion out there."

--Dea--
Dea adjusts her goggle on her face and looks around. "That was closer than I would've liked." She wanders over to the healing fountain and takes a sip, then walks over to the bounty board to to actually see who they're supposed to be hunting. "Eenie, meenie, minie, mo. Which of you is next to go...?"

Justine

Okay then thanks you.

Justine will go back to the town square and inspect the fountain.

Una

You throw yourself into the healing fountain, finding that your injuries heal almost instantly. It's as if nothing ever hurt you.

Dea and Arthur

You take a look at the bounty board, deciding to go after either Illyus or Londo next. They're the lowest ranked, so they should be the easiest. Best to be prepared either way. Jackal's shop is always open if you want to buy supplies. There's also a monster lab open now. Aside from that, the best preparation you can probably have is to gather a proper party.

Justine

You make your way to the healing fountain, taking a look at it. It seems warm and inviting. The water shimmers with a faint light. There's a mantis woman swimming around in the water. She must be another adventurer.

Jacin

Levi looks at the ground and then to you. "I guess I don't have anywhere else to go. I'll follow you for now."

The two of you stop by the bounty box, attempting to put Glass' Soul Gem inside, but it doesn't seem to accept it considering there's no bounty for him. You shrug and move on, making your way toward Death's Door.

It seems another party of adventurers has just returned. They're in pretty rough shape. Most of them quickly get to work healing their wounds with the fountain and the help of a magic physician.

Lilly and Derrik

The two of you head over to the cathedral, entering through the double doors. As you walk in you notice that it's eerily empty. The only thing worthy of note aside from the stain glass windows is an altar at the center of the room. You hear a faint whisper. "If you seek salvation, provide sacrifice..."

Rasim

You head into the monster lab, greeted by Saggitar. "Ah, good to see you. I'm glad you decided to show up. You see, there's actually a Capture Rune waiting for you here. But it's a bit different..." He reaches into a labcoat pocket and pulls out a stone engraved with a mysterious rune. "Normally monsters need to be hatched or found in the wild, but this rune is reacting with an immense amount of scan energy coming directly from... well, you."

A blonde woman in a labcoat walks out from one of the back rooms. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure if we scan you, we'll actually be able to make a monster directly with that data. In fact, there's so much data..." The woman pulls out a small device. A holographic beam scans you up and down. "Hmm...There's three different readings here. There's only enough data to actually materialize one of them, but I can give you a bit of a run down of what each creature is like."

She paces back and forth, looking at the data. "Looks like you have a frozen tortoise, a psychic that senses disaster, and a blazing fox. They've got a pretty strong connection to you, but I can't really seem to put my finger on why. These numbers are insane."

Saggitar nods. "It's likely necessary that you take one of these monsters in order for us to further our research. You would be doing us a great favor by becoming a monster tamer. So what do you say? Will you do it? And if so, which monster will you choose?"

With the adrenaline rush finally wearing off, he begins to feel the pains from surviving the dungeon floor.
Seeing the mantis-woman in much better shape after dipping in, he decides to simply drink from the fountain.
