Gugu flies above and around Malik, healing him.
Malik takes a defensive stance as Ricky approaches him, yelling "SHORYUKEN" before releasing a skyward uppercut. However, Malik dodges the attack. The attack instead barely makes contact with Gugu, dealing minor damage to him.
Malik counterattacks the Shoryuken by slamming Ricky into the ground with a strike from behind with his hammer. Ricky took a lot of damage from that!
Anna runs up from behind and attacks Malik, firing at him with the party popper from behind. That party popper surprisingly packs a punch...
The acid pit starts to release large amounts of steam. Wait, is the ground starting to shake? Whatever it is, something is definitely going on with the acid pit...

Anna decides to get near the acid pit and start filling it with sand with her shovel. Unfortunately, the sand seems to dissolve almost instantly...
Malik heals himself, then runs relatively near the acid pit, entering a defensive position.
Ricky pulls out another scroll and uses it, now losing his red headband in favor of a cute fursuit. Ricky digs underground, then quickly drills upwards from under Malik! It seems like Malik wasn't expecting an attack from below. Malik takes a fair amount of damage, now having less health than the last turn. Malik is launched backwards on his butt from the attack, EXTREMELY close to the acid pit.
Gugu hovers over the audience and laughs, then grabs Reese.
"H-HEY! PUNK! THE HELL ARE YA DOIN!"
Reese shouts many profanities that could get me banned as she's carried, then decides to wallop Gugu with her hammer. Reese leaves a dent in both Gugu and his cart, before being tossed at Anna. Anna gets hit from behind, but manages to barely not fall in the acid pit by steadying herself with her shovel. Anna is now INCREDIBLY close to the acid pit.
"THE HELL AS DAT?!"
The audience seems to be very angry at this, and everyone in the audience takes out their weapons. It looks like grabbing more audience members won't be an option anymore...
"I'M LEAVIN! SCREW ALL OF YA-"
Reese stops yelling as the arena starts to intensely shake. Suddenly, the acid pit starts spewing out acid like a fountain! The acid flies straight up, before starting to make a return trip. Any characters near the acid pit definitely don't want to be in that splash zone!

"Yeeeeeaaaahh! Iz partah tieym!" The drunken dragon Vince starts cheering in the arena.
"You'll be alright. We've got a shield up. Sylvera put it there."
"This acid pit is much badness. There is needing for cleaning."
"Someone needs to watch Reese...something about her running around freely is worrisome."
Rumbles momentarily panics before running after Reese. "I didn't lock the door to my house!"
"Oh, yeah. You're gonna get robbed blind by her." Yura nods as Rumbles runs off.

Anna immediately starts tailing it away from the acid, prioritizing staying alive first. Malik attempts to push her into the acid, but she moves too fast for him. Gugu sees this and starts healing Malik. Malik instead decides to chase after Anna with his hammer, catching up very quickly and attacking Anna with the hammer.
Ricky runs up to Malik after his attack. "Hey, I need this fo-"
"Malik!" Gugu's voice warns Malik.
Malik rolls out of the way, and Gugu charges into Ricky from behind... into the acid overflow. If the charge didn't kill Ricky, then the acid certainly did.
KO!
However, the two were closer to the acid than expected, and Gugu slightly runs into the acid before quickly retreating himself. Gugu suffers a lot of damage from touching the acid, and his cart has been completely dissolved.
As Gugu crawls out of the acid, Reese walks up to him, then swings her Vulcan Hammer like a golf club, sending Gugu into the acid.
"Yeheah, yah thoughth ya could just throw me liek a weepon, didya?! Well, you ain't thiking anymor!"
KO!
Reese starts to walk away, content with herself. Now I'd worry about your house, Rumbles.
Only Malik and Anna now stay alive...
The acid pit continues to shake the earth and spew out acid. There's now a wall of falling acid around the pit.
The steam from the acid now turns into vibrant colors. You don't want to find out what might happen...

Anna plants some Pitfall seeds around herself, then takes out an axe, wielding it in a manner that says "I don't know how to use this...".
Malik... Pretty much does nothing.
The acid pit continues spewing out acid. Wait... Are those sparks in the pit?

So is this a bonus boss for the winning team? I'm just curious, especially because something like this could actually be a really interesting way to spice up PvP: have the winning character/team get to fight an optional boss after the fight for double the arena coins or nothing if they lose, or they can choose not to fight the boss and just take what they've won.
