Bandanna Dee stays back at a distance, forcing his opponent (who I will simply refer to as "his opponent" since otherwise this is going to get very confusing very quickly) to either close in (charge in to intercept with the Parasol's dash attack) or throw spears (block w/ parasol, then throw some of my own spears when an opportunity arises).

The opponent charges an attack, while Bandana Dee stays back.
The opponent moves forward slowly, giving Bandana Dee the opportunity to attack and cancel the oppoenent's attack.

(I don't remember, but he's small enough that it would theoretically work, and while it makes sense to ban instant death moves that don't work on bosses banning normal attacks would basically make it so that if Bandanna Dee ever ends up in a fight without equipment there's no way to win since I can't even slide kick.)

(Hey, just to make sure, I found an alternative.)
The opponent is about to hit Bandana Dee with his spear, but BD grabs the spear and Circus Throw it into Bandana Dee, then throws more spears himself.
The opponent is launched backward, seemingly weak.

(That parasol really gives you the edge.)
The opponent jumps in the air, then uses a downward thrust on Bandana Dee who block the attack with the parasol.
When the opponent is back on the ground, Bandana Dee strikes him with a spear combo, finishing the battle.
THE MASTER: "MRFUZZ111' BANDANA DEE IS THE BEST! HE WON!"
Paul: "Hmm... I definitely need more practice in using him... It's pretty fun to see how someone else uses a fighter similar to me though! Thanks for this battle."

Robot Santa starts shooting Bandana Dee, but he blocks with his parasol. He then throws spears at the enemy, but it doesn't seem to care much. Bandana Dee has no idea if he caused any damage.
Robot Santa opens a hatch on his belly and takes out a rocket launcher.
