I know what you mean. I mean I saw how Malik and Ashley looked together while battling Shiva they seemed perfect.
I kinda of had a crush on a couple of peole but the more I see them together the more they seem.... sorry about that.
I feel like if I had the ability to summon a death dragon like that girl did maybe I could have saved this town. Maybe I could have saved my village.
That's right the only person I ever told was mosquito and whoever else was in prison with me. Hey Mike I know your there cone on out its okay.
(Not going to retype everything word for word on my phone but just check out the opening in Magis or wherever the prison scene was. Will do a cliffnotes version here)
So yeah I had to watch a town I grown to love burn to the ground again. The real reason I left my hometown was because my hometown was burned to the ground. I was just a few steps outside my village. I went to a place in the forest a makeshift shrine I built for my parents. Once a year I bring flowers to there grave and pray there spirits are at rest.
Afterwards on my way back I smelled smoke. Turns out bandits returned and decided to burn down the village I lived in as punishment for what I did to them. It happened so long ago but those sounds and sights are ingtained in me forever.
I found the bandits that were responsible and I just blacked out. When I came to there was no one left alive, the bandits were all slaughtered by my hands I was covered in there blood. I thought revenge would make me feel better but I felt empty. Thats why I am an adventurer to help those I see. Partly to make amends for what I did, partly to help those in need so they don't have to feel what I feel.
I look around at the destruction before me and it reminds me of how much I failed. Its a living reminder of the failure I am, the failure was.

I still can't fight him. Too much power. I'm nothing more than a puppet. A means to an end. I'll find a way to circumvent him. I won't hurt these people! I've killed to many good people already because of the Conductor.

Jess sighs you guys are right still. Being the sole protector and sole provider for so long it still hard to admit that I need help. I don't know I just always felt relying on others was a sign of weakness.
Like I was to weak to take control of the situation myself. Even that cutie Hilda I was with is lost. The only thing I have left to remember her by is this ribbon I made for her
Again sorry everyone for just putting you threw this and having to listen to me whine about everything.
(Anyways Just when will the Tropical Jungle Thread be updated.)

"...! Viker...so that's what's wrong..." Terra seems to have read your mind again. She seems less startled this time though. Perhaps something is stronger in her now? "Well...I don't believe you're just a puppet. You have a will of your own. And I believe in second chances." As she says this, Terra suddenly holds her head and winces in pain before stumbling backward. "I...remember something..." She's breathing a little heavily, but calms. "That knight...he died protecting me. There were monsters everywhere. And...a giant monster...no...the Guardian of Darkness..." She seems to panic again shaking her head. "N-no...NOOOO!!! D-don't...the...power...is too..." She then collapses. What...was that...?

Viker isn't so worried about Terra reading his mind. He runs over, trying to catch her before she collapses.
He picks her up and shakes her a bit. "Terra, Terra! Something's wrong..."
Viker quickly checks her pulse to ensure that her heart is still beating normally.

"What is he doing? He should be harvesting them, not helping them. This is certainly a game changer. Viker was always more concerned with his own mortality on Trueax. Maybe I just need to give them all a little jolt... Or maybe, he is just playing them right into his hands. I'll watch a bit more. This whole world is full of fun things.

I think bringing her with us on our adventure is the right thing to do. It's not like anywhere is safe now! And with her on my back, there's now way something can sneak up on us! She'll be our eyes for everything that tries to sneak up on us! I'm not concerned about monsters though, I'm always behind providing support! I'm concerned about when we'll have to fight a mage which uses spells that affect large areas..." |

"I'm sorry I passed out like that. I just...remembered something. Sorry. Now isn't the time to worry about such things as the past. I must help us all continue forward. Maybe we'll find the knight...the one I remember."
