(I can do a thing were you actually get the armor bonuses if you build it, but don't have to physically wear it if your character's deafult design is too important.
For example, if I would have bought armor for Yzza in Lost Kingdom, I would have just assumed she gets a defense bonus, but actually wears her usual attire, because armor would have ruined her design.
So yeah, as long as you build the armor, you get the defense bonus.
The bosses armors should look cool though.)

(Yeah, that could probably work. I would imagine Just would prefer not being slowed down or having to heavily modify armor for a quadrupedal stance too. At that point it just becomes a matter of who needs it more. Which of us has lower Defense?)

(Also, Mirror Status looks fine.
In theory, it could be broken against bosses, but most of the time, they are immune to their signature status effect.
And if you're fighting alone, you'll have to be inflicted by the status yourself first before you can copy it to someone else.
If it does end up being too broken, I'll nerf it, but there's some monsters which can inflict statuses with 100% accuracy too, so I don't currently see a problem.)

(Oh no, armor only offers more defense, I'm not gonna have it slow you down.
Armors mostly offer elemental defenses.
Your overall defense is decided by your level, so you're currently equal.
Altough for logic purposes, I would say that if the characters appear in another game with other mechanics, Crystalis should have more defense than Mirror Mage.)

I don't mind who gets the ticket. I can make my own equipment from all the things I gather. I gather a lot of things. Oh, and my new skill.
Crystal Beam
Crystalis shoots out a laser of light energy from his mouth, absorbing an opponent's data. This attack will copy the target's non physical attacks. So magic or ranged attacks. It's pretty much Copy Fang, but for ranged attacks.

I guess so. Crystalis says goodbye to the farmer with a bark before returning to the camp and looking for a forge.

---The VERY Windy Plains---
Crystalis, Mirror Mage and Maya go back to the Windy Plains. They actually see the tornado in the far distance. There is no path towards there, but they move forward in the grass.
Maya suddenly stops Crystalis
"Woah wait! Look at the holes in the ground...
That's some rabbit holes. We should pass somewhere else, they are very territorial."

The party avoid the rabbit territory, while Crystalis is collecting wind herbs (+3, augments wind resistance)
They arrive at the tornado.
There's a mage there, he moves his hand in the air, while backing up from the tornado.
"Oh hey there... You're here for the quest?
I'm trying to manipulate the tornado with wind magic, but I can't... At least I slow it down.
You have anything to stop a tornado?"

(Maybe. Let me try something.)
Shoot a crystal beam into the tornado. Maybe there's something controlling it. If we can steal its powers, I bet we could use them against it. Alternatively, we could have Crystal Mage copy the tornado with another tornado spinning the opposite direction to counter it so they cancel out.
