(I assumed he heard about it. He already has talked about it before too during this conversation. It doesn't seem like something everyone would just sit around and say nothing about. At the very least, he'd hear it from the guards in the camp.)

You untie the merchant. He'll be able to walk away when he wakes up.
The party moves foward. They catch up to Barthelemew as he's attacked by imps. One of them spots you as two other imps with a swirly tail jump out of some bushes.

I'm pretty sure the issues that happen whenever we're on different sides stems from a combination of your obsession with winning and tendency to rub any small victory in everyone's face mixing with me having a bit of a temper towards anything that I view as a personal insult or instances of people singling me out. |
