(ERMAGHERD I UM UPDETING!)
Mirror Mage moves forward, followed by Elliot. The fishmen stop and look at Crystalis, keeping their distance. They don't seem to walk away though.
Mirror Mage and Elliot stop as there's a bag on the middle of the path. It looks like the bag travelling merchants transport with them.
Elliot: "Huh? Maybe a travelling merchant lost it. Should we take it and give it back to it's owner? There not much chance of finding him though... They are always on the move. Shoul we take it and keep what's inside for ourselves?"

If they notice it missing they will likely double back for it and come across us on the trail at which point we can save them the trouble of walking this far, but if we do not find them then we can place it back where we found it when we finish the mission and return back to camp."

I don't think anything has changed. Somebody will pick it up and we'll move forward. I guess Mirror Mage will because he's in front, but it doesn't really matter.

Elliot: "Yeah, if we find the owner..."
Elliot grabs the bag.
Elliot: "...we can always try to find him and... oof. This is actually heavy."
The bag suddenly explodes in Elliot's face, hurting him and making him fall to the ground with a pretty decent burn. He seems in too much pain to even talk.
Four women with long red hair jump out of bushes.
Thief A: "Wow... This actually worked?"
Thief B: "Told ya!"
Thief C: "I just think these guys are idiots."
The thieves takes some daggers and seem ready to fight.
Thief D: "So like... Give us all you money kay?"
Crystalis and Maya join Mirror Mage, as the fishmen follow from a safe distance. It doesn't seem like they will involve themselves in a fight.
Thief A: "Oh... They have a wolf and a Ram?"
Thief B: "Whatever, we handled worse right?"
Thief D: "Well my dear mister, we'll take your wolf and ram and be better owners than you kay?"

I'm not sure I see how they would know that Crystalis and Mirror Mage have crystals. In Crystalis' case his(?) entire body is made of crystal and thus wouldn't likely have the crystal he(?) absorbed be distinct from possibly just a sixth claw, and in Mirror Mage's case there's absolutely no part of their body that's actually visible. In any case, Mirror Mage will summon their monsters and then Mirror Status the Flinch onto one of them, then watch the other three. If they try to attack, Mirror Mage will sidestep and then Mirror Mimic them, creating a copy to attack from the other side.

Yeah, there's absolutely no skin uncovered on Mirror Mage (even the good casts a shadow that always seems to cover their face no matter how bright the lighting is) for reasons that will be revealed later. |
